Taro ice coffee , cherry iced coffee
    Shannon H.

Came here before church to have coffee with my bestie! It was very cute inside! Loved the pink! I got the taro ice coffee which was delicious and perfect , sweet and creamy but not toooo sweet! My friend got the cherry ice coffee! Which was also yummy!!!! They had alot of pastries which I would have gotten but was trying to eat better , I will be back and I'll try a pastry next time. There was only like 2 other people there the whole time we were there on a Sunday morning so quiet and quick service

    Coconut latte

Their coconut latte had a strong coconut taste but not that strong of a coffee taste. It might have been an off day but there was a weird smell in the store, kind of a bit like cleaner products which I didn't enjoy. The workers were great and the coffee shop was cute with lots of tables and natural lighting.

Great place to visit. The vanilla cherry pound cake is delicious. This is my 3rd visit in 24 hours I enjoy every second.

Cute little drink shop/ bakery. Menu consisted of baked goods, smoothies, coffees, and teas. Place was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. We order the taro latte and lychee green tea. Both were flavorful and refreshing.

Love this new coffee shop in league city! They have a solid selection of pastries, sandwiches, and espresso drinks but the Dubai choclolate over strawberries here is absolutely addictive. Definitely find myself making weekly visits here for the great desserts and coffee.

Everything was so cute here! I think I found my new place! I had the banana pudding matcha and it was amazing! The Matilda chocolate cake was yum! The staff was so sweet as well! Highly recommend!

Cute little coffee shop! We got smoothies, a raspberry lemon loaf, and a strawberry and cream puff pastry. There was a lot of seating for working remote or catching up w friends. Overall service was great, I'll be back again!

Pastries! You gotta try their pastries!! The mini loaves were so dang soft and moist. Every bite was a delight. This was my first time checking this cute cafe out, but it won't be my last. Both the service and the pastries put a smile on my face.

This place is sooo cute! I love when small coffee places open up in the midst of all the big sharks. I was immediately recommended the pistachio iced coffee with the craze of Dubai chocolate going around. My husband got the hot white chocolate latte and he immediately said he should have gotten the bigger size which is definitely a compliment. Come check out this cozy place

    Croissant and dirty chai

Nat was helpful and good customer service. Dirty chai was very good and the jalapeño croissant was also delicious. I love the pink decor and girly vibes.

Great service and drink was delicious. All the beverages I've tried have been great and the pastries also

The bakery is amazing. Love it. The place is beautiful. The coffee is delicious and the people is so nice

professional photo of the tasty croissant in question

If i could put no stars i would ,that is how outraged i am, but I'll put one because that croissant was pretty tasty. But the service was sup par to say the least, the person at the register wasn't welcoming in the slightest and seemed like he'd rather be anywhere else. For a place with such delicious food you'd think their customer service would be just as great, do better cherry moon.

This cafe was adorable. The food was not only flavorful, but beautifully presented as well. The cookie was baked to soft perfection. I went with a friend who thankfully knew to join the waitlist about an hour before we planned to arrive, which made the wait very manageable. Had we not known that important little tip, we probably would've been waiting close to an hour. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely go back again.

Let me preface this review by stating that I have been to this establishment multiple times & had…read moreglowing, amazing service each time. However, my last experience with this establishment left a horrible taste in my mouth. Therefore, I am giving them an extra star for the previous experiences. On May 17th, 2026, my best friend and I had been looking forward to coming to Water Oak all day and had our taste buds set for the occasion. We were famished and had quite a day up until arriving. Upon entering the restaurant, we were very briefly greeted by the a Hispanic man who I assume is the manager and told that they were "no longer seating for the day". I glanced around and saw that every table inside WAS seated, however there were many tables outside that were empty. I asked about the patio stating that us where we preferred to sit anyway, and was met with that they were also not seating the patio at all for the rest of the day. However, there was a group of 3 women seated outside on the patio at that exact time. I didn't say anything, simply turned and left. After having "one of those days" hashing out something so minute with a person who clearly didn't want us in their place of business was not something I was about to do. Keep in mind, we came on a Sunday afternoon. Prime brunch time. We arrived at the restaurant around 2:30PM, and their website says they don't close until 4PM. I am a biracial black woman and my friend is white. I noticed a significant amount of White and Latino patrons, but a shocking lack of Black people. With Houston having one of the most diverse populations in the US, it is almost impossible not to see at least one individual of each ethnicity in a place at any given time. I am definitely not one that likes to pull the race card, because oftentimes that is not the issue. However, as someone who is familiar with the service industry I understand Sundays can be extremely overwhelming. And I am cognizant that not everything is that serious. But, I am also aware that a lot of people in the industry discriminate against people of color, with stigmas that we don't leave enough gratuity or we "don't fit the vibe of their establishment". And those 3 women seated on the patio? All White. After reading recent reviews, it seems that management is discriminating against people of color, more specifically Black folks. This is an extremely disheartening and sickening realization to make, seeing as I have given well over $1,000 worth of my money here but also enjoyed many meals without issue. To management: It breaks my heart to have to write this review and to be honest, I wouldn't have written it if I hadn't seen others posting about similar experiences in addition to also feeling discriminated against. I highly suggest that if you are "not seating" after a specific time, you announce this via social media or alert potential patrons with a sign or something of the sort. & obviously, there is such an issue with treatment towards POC that it is a noteworthy problem via your Google & Yelp reviews. You will have a much bigger fish to fry on your hands if you continue to let this issue go on unrectified. I would be willing to return if I felt things were to be changed for the better in the future! Hopefully this review sparks a much needed conversation and brings attention to an area which needs work.

Food: I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu Baked Pasta, and it was pure comfort. Creamy, cheesy, and generously portioned, with tender chicken and ribbons of ham woven throughout. My daughter chose the Strawberry Nutella® Crêpe, which felt like a little celebration on a plate. Light, delicate, and just sweet enough. My husband went with the French Dip au Caramelized Onions. The beef was tender, the onions perfectly sweet, and the jus rich enough to make every bite worth dipping. We couldn't resist taking home pastries, and they were just as lovely later that evening. Service: Friendly and efficient. Orders came out promptly, and the staff kept the line moving without making the experience feel rushed. Ambiance: Cozy and inviting, with the feel of a neighborhood café. The pastry case greets you as soon as you walk in, and the scent of coffee and baked goods makes it hard not to linger. Overall, it was an easy, satisfying afternoon spot for families or a casual lunch. Sometimes you just want something warm, familiar, and well done. This delivered.

Had a meal at La Madeleine for the first time in a long time. Went for breakfast around 11 a.m…read more I was disappointed. First of all, what restaurant does not have sausage and bacon when they have the breakfast menu out? How does that happen exactly? Even if the Sysco truck did not bring it, the manager is not aware of H‑E‑B? I mean, go pick some up. At the very least, tell customers, up front, there is no bacon or sausage when they order. Not when they have gone through the line to pay. "Uh. Did anyone mention we do not have sausage?" Me: "No. I'll have bacon then." Him: "Um. We don't have bacon either. How about turkey bacon?" Nobody likes turkey bacon. They plated the scrambled eggs, French toast, and the offending turkey bacon all on one small plate. Normally pancakes or French toast comes on its own plate so it is not tainted with runny eggs or greasy bacon. The Croque Madame was dry, room temperature, and generally disappointing. It was like it was cooked 5 hours prior. The Cesar salad's lettuce tasted of chemicals. Though not crowded, service was horrible. There was not one employee who smiled nor said anything nice at all. To anyone. Ever. Then I saw the manager who looked so miserable and like he did not want to be there. None of those employees had actual printed name tags. All, including the manager, had to write their name on their tags. What place doesn't have printed name tags. It's like their employees are temporary and disposable. And guess what? The lack of service, lack of basic breakfast foods, and cold food reflects all of that. Frankly I did not see anyone one customer who appeared happy. Tables all around us spoke of their own disappointing experience. What has happened to La Madeleine? What I know is I cannot go back. There are too many good restaurants who actually want business. It's a miserable place filled with miserable employees making food that reflects all of that. It's been taken off our list of area restaurants to attend.
