The campground is spotless, which is something we really appreciate. The sites are well cared for, the facilities are clean, and you can tell the owners take pride in keeping everything looking great. We spent our mornings fishing, afternoons at the pool, and evenings roasting marshmallows or sitting by a warm fire. The arcade was a huge hit, especially when we wanted a break from the heat, and the snack shack was perfect for grabbing a quick bite without having to leave the campground. There was always something to do, but it never felt crowded or chaotic. What stood out most was how comfortable and enjoyable the entire experience was. It felt safe, family-friendly, and truly relaxing. We made some great memories here and were already talking about our next trip before we even packed up to leave. Highly recommended!

The area was so peaceful and relaxing that we decided we weren't ready to leave. The wonderful owners made adding an extra night incredibly easy and accommodating, which we really appreciated. We stayed in Cabin 3, which had two bunk beds and a double bed, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Having a full private bathroom with hot water was a huge plus, along with a fully operable air conditioner and a Roku TV when we wanted to unwind at night. You also have the pond available for swimming, and the entire property has that quiet, laid-back atmosphere that makes you actually feel like you got away from everything. The honor-system general store was another great touch. It was extremely convenient to grab ice, food items, souvenirs, and even old-time candy without having to leave the property. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay. And having KC Peppers Bar & Grill right there is a major bonus and definitely one of the highlights of the area. What really makes Lake Wanoka special, though, is everything surrounding it. Within minutes you have incredible local dairies, farms, butchers, delis, and restaurants. Hartler Farms was a must for fresh milk and meat, and Alpine Restaurant & Deli had some of the best beef bacon and Canadian bacon I've ever had. You can spend the day exploring the area, come back with some of the best local meat and dairy you can find, and cook an unbelievable meal right at camp. It really gives you the best combination of camping, comfort, great local food, and peace and quiet. For us, it was well worth the four-plus-hour drive. The fact that we came for the weekend and ended up adding another night probably says it better than anything else could. Peaceful, clean, accommodating, and surrounded by some fantastic local food and farms. We would absolutely come back. Five stars!

Can you tell we liked it here? The campground is run by a family who has had the land in their hands for generations. They are excited and kind about sharing it with visitors and have created an awesome culture of friendliness and respect among campers and the campground owners. There is a well equipped camp store with everything you might have forgotten and even local pottery. The bathrooms and grounds are very clean. They also run tube, canoe and kayak trips where they'll drop you off upriver and you'll finish at Soaring Eagle. We did a tube float down the river which was the highlight of the trip. There weren't many others on the river with us which was a special thing. They also rent canoes and kayaks. We'll try those next time.

Really was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. Great owners-who really walk you through it and are there if you need them, but make themselves scarce for your privacy. Beautiful and AMAZING views at Two Bridges. Loved waking up and seeing and hearing the river. Nice trails-clearly marked and there are different levels depending on your level of fitness. But the easy trail-still was a great hike. I have a bum foot, so was limited on what I could do. The River Trail was beautiful and had great views. No cell phone or Internet-I thought I would freak, but I found it so relaxing to be able to really get away. I'm a complete email junkie-and I LOVED it. The cabin I was in-Two Bridges was very clean and was decorated beautifully and understated. And in floor heat! Jane and her family were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating upon arrival. They escorted us to our site which was located only a short drive away from the entrance. After making sure we were all set, they left us to enjoy the rest of our weekend. The site itself was spacious and secluded from the other campers within a close walk to the bathroom facilities. The Delaware river was in our backyard and the scenery was picturesque. There was a fire pit and two picnic tables set up for your convenience. The only animals we encountered were friendly Bambi's, fuzzy caterpillar friends, and the usual pesty mosquitoes. There were no Pooh Bears or any of the like which made our stay all the more relaxing. I've done my fair share of camping and I can attest to the fact their bathrooms are super clean for camping standards! The hot showers in their facilities, despite costing a small fortune in quarters ($1.50 for 3 mins) are an added bonus. It became our daily challenge to beat the clock and served as a reminder to "be green". The owners even came to remove our garbage from the site! Prepare to be cut off from civilization and become one with nature (unless you have Verizon or Sprint service. I have AT&T and did not have service until I was a good 5 miles past the camp grounds). All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and plan to return. I highly recommend this site to all 'glampers' (glamour campers) and beginners.

The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. Booked for the Bethel Woods concert goers.

I am revising to clarify my original 2 star rating after a question about our experience. We are in a 45 ft 2015 RV towing a vehicle. We then called the desk and they sent people to help us get back out of the area and brought us down to the lake where there was one spot left and was sufficient. Point is that we were lucky not to damage property and someone should have known better at the desk. I will give the park a 5+ star rating for being great for smaller campers, tents, kids, etc. Clean and obviously the owners care about their park. Educate the desk employees. If we had agreed to the spot we were first sent to, the neighbors' fire pit would have been burning under one of our slide outs. Impossible situation.
