My mom and I were looking for a nice spot to have lunch and were craving a nice Chinese restaurant. It's been so hard to find a nice place to enjoy Chinese food. This place is a gem, when we came in we looked around and saw a comfortable atmosphere it was really fancy looking inside and it was perfect for a lunch with my mom. This place would be great to take a date or go with friends. The food quality was absolutely amazing, this is the best Chinese food I've ever tasted with unique flavors I have never tasted before. The staff was so friendly and we tried their rare teas they were delicious and as a tea lover I enjoyed talking and learning about the tea and its history and origin. We had orange chicken which was so flavorful the flavors were perfect and the quality of the chicken was absolutely amazing. We tried the honey walnut chicken as well and it had a smooth semi-sweet sauce it was another perfect dish. All in all I will definitely be back and others need to know about this spot. This place was incredible! Everything I had was really good quality and the owner was very personable. I had the Hunan Beef and pork egg roll. Starting with the egg roll, it was very unique and you could tell they hand roll these. I've been to a ton of places and most egg rolls taste the same; NOT THIS PLACE. What really impressed me was the hunan beef. The pieces were large and juicy - which is not the norm. The heat was there, but it wasn't overwhelming and I got used to it really quickly. The chicken fried rice has tender, bite-sized pieces of chicken with fried onions mixed in, though it could use a bit more flavor. Adding the General Tso's sauce, a honey-spiced blend, gives it a nice kick, though I expected a touch more heat. The General Tso's chicken itself is crispy with juicy pieces, and the flaky, veggie-packed spring rolls are a solid addition. The chicken wings, while flavorful, were served with sauce on the side rather than tossed, which is a personal preference of mine. The sweet and tangy sauce is good, but I think it would have been even better coating the wings directly. Inside, the calm ambiance and soft background music create a relaxing vibe. Hong Kong fusion was quiet and I appeared to be the only patron. The person that assisted me let me know about some hot tea. I did not have the opportunity to ask about the tea that were listed for the gentleman apparently selected a tea for me and poured it in wine glass. The tea was warm. My bf and I did takeout from here twice and have not been disappointed. The best part about the experience is getting a free pu-erh tea, which tastes amazing! I definitely want to experience dining inside and trying their tea next time. We've ordered the Singapore rice noodle, General Tso's chicken , Veggie dumplings, Crispy orange chicken and Beef chow fun. We were hoping the food would have a nice kick of spice, but it honestly didn't even with the dishes noting that it is spicy. As promised, I did get a chance to go and dine inside. I think the dine-in experience is ideal for people on dates. It's very quiet, with a cozy atmosphere, but to the point that everyone spoke in hushed tones. I found the server (perhaps the owner?) to be very kind, but my guest felt awkward when he was a bit resistant to making any changes to the menu. Thanks to all the reviews we found this hidden gem and great Chinese food! We ordered the orange chicken and honey walnut chicken. Both we absolutely amazing. Very crispy, all white meat chicken and FRESH. Also had the wonton soup! The biggest surprise was when I asked the owner for hot tea. He was very excited to share 100 + year old tea. I've never had tea in a wine glass before. It was a fun experience and the endless amount of tea was better each fill. Definitely will go back! This spot has become my go-to for Chinese takeout in Cherry Hill. I've never dined inside, but the restaurant is spacious and has many tables. The variety is similar to most a Chinese food spots, but quality and portions are above average. I've never had to wait longer than 30 minutes for my takeout orders to be ready. Order accuracy has been perfect during every visit. The food always tastes fresh and flavorful. The owner is always friendly over the phone and in person. He also includes a complementary box of fried wonton crisps and a large cup of Chinese tea with every order. Hong Kong Fusion provides an excellent version of your classic Chinese restaurant menu. There are many other Chinese spots in the Cherry Hill area, but I wouldn't want to leave a spot that hits the mark perfectly in every category. read more

The steak was tender and plentiful, and the scallops were large and tasty (not the cheap scallop slivers you get at many such places). The chicken wings were also delicious. For tonight's dinner we started off with one spring roll the shrimp and we shared that as well as an order of the pork dumplings steamed. Both very tasty and off to a really good strong start. We shared two dishes one was the beef with asparagus in a black bean sauce, The meat was extremely tender asparagus stocks a nice dick size grilled to perfection they snapped when I cut them with a knife which was great. The second dish we shared was a combination of scallops and shrimp and we added eggplant in a garlic sauce it had a nice spice and a nice sweet taste at the same time this dish is a home run we will have this again and we highly recommend you ask to have the eggplant added as well see our photographs read more

I didn't taste shrimp , the fried dumplings were also not what I was expecting, the food was just ok. I didn't care for it. Just didn't have a lot of flavor that I was expecting for the price. What a great find. We stopped in around 3 pm on a weekday. No other customers there. The owner was very attentive. We had a nice conversation about Hong Kong. They specialize in unique teas from China. We tasted some. Interesting to learn about them. They have quite a collection. All the food we had was high quality and tasted great. That doesn't happen very often. We had a beef dish, chicken wings, soups, vegetarian stir fry, chow fun. We'll definitely come here again when we're in town. read more

Went to this Chinese place in Cherry Hill and had a great time there. We met the owner who came to our table and offered us this great aged tea. We ordered the best wonton soup. It was very flavorful and fresh. I wish it had more broth to it. We ordered the cream cheese and crab wontons. The wontons were thick instead of the thin wontons we are use to for this dish. I ordered the crispy beef and my wife the triple delight. Both very good and tasty. Very, very dissatisfied and disappointed. Hong Kong Fusion gets fabulous reviews but the food was a let down, in my opinion. According to Yelp, the Hong Kong style spareribs are a must but I struggled to taste what everyone else is raving about. They were too sweet and had a coating that was a little to thick and grainy for my liking. The chicken lo mein was decent, though it could have used a little more flavor. J got the orange chicken...as is, he was a little uncertain about this dish as most restaurants prepare it on the sweeter side. While this dish packed some heat and the overall flavor was on point, the chicken was very mushy which ruined it completely. Additionally, we ordered the fried rice. The rice was over cooked giving, another, mushy texture and the flavor tasted just okay. Maybe it's because we chose takeout, but we were just not impressed and will not be returning. read more

We went back for the Chinese Tea Ceremony for Father's Day in mid July. The owner is passionate about tea! He also took the time to ask us about our food preferences and the menu came out with those considerations. We had so many delicious teas the first 45 min. The 100 year old tea was the smoothest tea I ever tastiest in my life. I am ruined. He explained the history, how it is difficult to get, and how the pandemic actually helped obtain such a rare find. The dinner was a gourmet delight!! We started with the Peking Duck Pizza and it was authentic. So delicious and with crunchy crust too. I highly recommend. Then an amazing scallop toast with mango glaze . Never had anything like it. Very good! Then two steamed dumplings: a vegetable and a shrimp. The vegetable was as great as we remembered. Crunchy. The shrimp was good too but I liked the vegetable better. The Mongolian lamb dish was a surprise. The lamb was tender and the dish had a hint of heat. Then a course of some shellfish seafood- crab, scallop, and shrimp with perfectly cooked asparagus. The whole branzino was killer and I loved the flavor on the side of vegetables. There was rice too served with everything. We had plenty of leftovers. The grand finale: my new favorite rice cookie. It was served with some raspberry sorbet and a swirl of chocolate sauce to look like a smiling face. I included an order of cookies to go. This was a special treat dinner. read more

I've been several times now, and Peter has always been willing to school me on black tea from China, even if I'm just ordering a cup. Really happy to have found a new spot that is a local favorite. We are a family full of super picky eaters. This one only eats white meat. That one won't try pork. This one's vegan. You name it, we'll try to annoy you. Having said that, we were luckily able to order by phone and do an easy pick up. From the time we picked up the phone to having it on our table, it was less than 45 minutes. I opted for the jumbo shrimp fried rice for $14, which I really enjoyed. Jumbo is right - I could chop the shrimp pieces into smaller bites to stretch out in the dish. Another favorite was the shrimp won ton soup - oh my. Super light, not salty at all, and the won tons were not heavy or doughy. Next time I'm ordering more to freeze for lazy nights at home. read more

This restaurant rocks, everything from our appetizers of superb soup dumplings, boneless Hong Kong spare ribs,(incredibly delicous I could have made a meal out of a couple of orders of these), and special fried rice were shining stars in our dining selections. Our gracious host, finding out that we were celebrating two birthdays brought out a number of his select teas to sample. Honey walnut shrimp with mango was a tasty treat, the General Chicken and crispy orange beef although toothsome did not hit the high mark that the W S w M did but were also enjoyed. Selections of fried ice cream and creme brûlée both excellently prepared were both really delicious, ending a most satisfying meal. this is a true 5 star place. The owner is beyond knowledgeable and caters to a devoted tea experience. The tea alone is a great reason to dine here. In addition every dish we enjoyed was prepared in house. I highly suggest the shrimp dumplings and the red Thai curry. Leave space for dessert. The cookie cake is made from sticky rice and the sorbet is homemade do not miss this. I am leaving this restaurant having gaining knowledge and satisfied taste buds. read more

We have been stopping in Hong Kong Fusion 1-2 times per month for some time now during lunch. The food is always consistently very good and so is the quality of the ingredients. The restaurant is fairly elegant for a strip mall and is a spotlessly clean space. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. The lunch menu changes from time to time and there is a good variety of choices without being overwhelming. The dishes range from Chinese, Thai and Japanese, all somewhat fusion dishes. The lunch specials come with a choice of soups and also white, brown or fried rice. Hong Kong Fusion is also trying to set itself apart from a typical Chinese restaurant. The Asian fusion food that I've long been craving during this crisis has been satisfied! Really thoughtful service in packaging everything with great care. They managed to put the Shanghai juicy buns in individual small condiment cups - and they were still nice and warm. All of the food tasted freshly made and were hot right outta the kitchen. I now need to see a shrink 'cause I should have my head examined for purchasing takeout from Hong Kong Fusion. In short, the meal items purchased were horrible. I like Sweet 'n Sour Chicken. What I don't like is that many Chinese restaurants serve it with just sauce. Years ago, while living in Philly, I would order in Chinatown (places like Ho Sai Gai) and get it with a few pieces of green and red pepper, pineapple, and sometimes even a maraschino cherry! I'm not OK with the "just sauce" version. But that's precisely what I got from Hong Kong Fusion. But wait, let me tell you about the sauce. It was like someone mixed sugar with water. Horrible. The egg rolls had a sweet sauce inside them (like nothing we ever had before), and they were terrible too! So bad we didn't even finish them. And no fortune cookies! What Chinese restaurant do you know of that doesn't complete an order with a few fortune cookies? The items racked up a total of $65 for a quart of soup, a pint of soup, two egg rolls, (tasteless) chicken and steamed vegetables, fried rice, and the sorry-I-ever-ordered-it SnS chicken. Just had there beef with broccoli lunch special and it was amazing! Beef was tender and broccoli was perfectly cooked! Not too crunchy and not too mushy. I got an egg roll with it that was awesome had great flavor. Lunch specials range from 9.99-15 with a host of choices from chicken, pork, beef ,shrimp, scallops and crabmeat. No other place offers these choices for lunch. The sauce had a lot of flavor. It was sweet and savory with some ginger. I picked this meal because 90% of the time other Chinese restaurants and take out places in the cherry hill/Marlton area this is a bland chewy flavorless meal. If you can make great beef with broccoli that's a great insight into the quality of the food. For me I only found 2 places that make Great Chinese food in the cherry hill/Marlton area and this place is one of them. Come check it out! read more

Due to covid we were greeted AT THE CAR, I'm sure many would appreciate that. Food was made extremely fast! Ordered the HK style BBQ ribs(good, but a bit sweet), Beijing duck pizza (OK, suggest to add big scallions), Szechuan string beans (great!), Pad Thai (less impressive), red Thai curry tofu (fried tofu texture was great, sauce was meh, try a different sauce next time).
