When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. We ordered two banh mis to eat there and a few more items for takeout. There was a good amount of seating and the interior looked nice. Once we sat down, it started to get a little busier. The banh mis were alright; we liked that the baguettes weren't too hard, but the flavor was mediocre. I felt they needed more mayo and pâté. By the time we finished our meal, we went back to the counter to pick up our takeout order, but it wasn't ready. We ended up waiting nearly an hour after our initial order for those items to come out. I'm not sure why it took so long considering it was only four items: a drink, a pre-made dessert, sizzling steak, and a patty. When we got home, we realized the patty was missing. Definitely double-check your order if you're getting takeout. We were bringing food back for a family member on a limited diet due to surgery, so the missing item was very disappointing. After reading the reviews on Yelp, we wanted to give this place a try for lunch. The restaurant is extremely beautiful, with flowers placed everywhere. An "Instagram wall" made of green plants can be seen on the leftmost wall, with bright pink flowers mounted on the wall next to it. A white rectangular table with 4 black stools is situated by the front window. We sat at a table that was located a couple of steps up. Two booth seats that are separated from each other via a wooden partition line the back wall, green plants weaving around the "rafters" that are above the booths. When we got here, almost all the tables were taken and there weren't many. So, we quickly got a table to ensure that we can eat in. We sat at a table that was next to the booths and we saw that over by the ordering counter, there was a display case filled with pastries and bread that you could reach into. The ordering counter was also near the back and because we went here during FIFA, there were streamers with soccer balls hanging from the ceiling near the counter. We ordered the following at the counter: Iced egg yolk coffee with condensed milk- we all liked it. We had this in California and enjoyed it a lot. S1 - Broth Pho and Beef Balls and Grilled Pork Banh Mi. I thought the soup was delicious. Daughter liked the banh mi but she preferred my Grand Slam order. OP5- Trio Sampler (3 pcs)- grilled shrimp, egg roll. It took a while for them to bring it over and it was hardly worth the wait. I'd walk over and they said that it'll take a while but it never came until I got up to ask. Honestly, I think they forgot. I don't understand how this took time because the snacks were in a hot display case. This was pretty good, as well. Banh Mi 2-Eggs Grand Slam- This was impressive and delicious. We got to rip the baguette and dip it into the stew and eggs. Hubs liked it and thought that it made up for the Trio Sampler fiasco. This was a deconstructed banh mi and it was delicious. We opted for no cilantro or jalapenos. Both were tasty and we had plenty of leftovers. They cut the regular 9" size in half for convenience. You can get it on regular crusty rolls or baguettes. We opted for regular rolls and leftovers were still good a day or too later. Paris Banh Mi also has a selection of appetizers and sweet treats to go along with your banh mi. You can also order as a meal with sides. Compared to the last few places I got banh mi (Seattle and San Diego), it's more expensive. But very filling. This is our 5th time visiting here and trying out different banh mi. Their sandwiches are consistently crispy and delicious. I haven't taste any that I didn't like. It's either tastes good and it tastes oh hot damn yummy! My favorite is the banh mi grilled pork. Their baguette is nicely toasted and crispy and the meat is perfectly seasoned. Instead of baguette sandwich, you can also have banh mi in a croissant. Personally, it's not a banh mi to me if it isn't served with a baguette. The grilled pork banh mi was just right, tasty, nicely toasted and everything came together well in it. Pate pork was also good, flavorful and tasted well with the lightly pickled veggies. These two pork banh mis are a 4.7 out of 5. The bulgogi banh mi was just okay. It wasn't flavorful but it wasn't bland either. Nice chunks of beef but it didn't remind me of bulgogi and was drier than I expected. So this is a 3 out of 5. Viet ice coffee was almost $8 and about 70% ice. Flavorwise it was good but not worth it since its more ice than coffee. Overall 2.5 our of 5 stars... rounding to 3 since yelp doesn't do half stars. Many drinks that are on the menu too, I want to try them all. The bread is nice and crispy when you first bite into it. Great staff and location right off the highway with ample parking spaces. They also have a patio outdoors for when the weather is better to dine as well. I recommend trying the grill pork or the Vietnamese cold cut combo. 2025 Update : This place went from 1 star to 5 stars experience!! They updated their interiors completely! No more Halloween colors furniture and dense pale bread. Now it's set up like a French cafe with the bistro chairs, plants (some real, some fake), a few comfy booths and nooks. Very inviting space! Theres also an outside patio filled with grape vines and lush shrubs. The bread also changed : There is a French baguette option which is harder and denser, and a Vietnamese bread option which is golden, light thin crust, fluffy inside. I came late into the BMAC - Banh Mi Appreciation Club - yes, I made that up. Previous reviews I'd read here and elsewhere were lukewarm at best, but I decided to give it a try anyway. This is now the third place in the Cherry Hill area that I've tried a version of grilled pork banh mi and... drum roll please.... this was the best! I asked for extra cilantro and veggies so I could convince myself this was a healthy choice. For an $8 sandwich, I was floored. They have plenty of baked breads, pastries, and cakes. But their menu also has Viet sandwiches, burgers, and croissants which I found interesting. There were people buying several sandwiches cause they have a deal of buy 5 get 1 free. I got a few of the Pate Chaud (Pork Pastry) cause it looked good and the pastry on the outside was perfectly flakey. The pork filling was very flavorful but it was cold. I really enjoyed the ambience of this place. I'm looking forward to enjoying the outside when the weather is nicer. I got a delicious salted iced coffee, one of the sample platters, and a strawberry cheesecake. The beef stick and the spring roll we're very good. The shrimp that came with it was super greasy. I couldn't eat it. The strawberry cheesecake in the display counter was probably twice the size of the one they gave me, not quite worth it for nine dollars. What an incredible stop on your way to and from Philly. I can't imagine not taking a pit stop here every time I'm on route. From the quaint garden exterior to the comfortable and refined interior, there's no better place to chill and relax while sipping some caffeine and having a light lunch. The absolute winner and must eat is the bahn mi (could you have guessed). We had the vegetarian version, which had some fake meat in it and it was sooooo delicious. The veggies were pickled to perfection, there was fresh cilantro and carrot, there was just the right amount of spice and sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted and freshly baked. This is one of the best bahn mis I've had in the states period. The iced coffee has a unique flavor to it. I wasn't in love with it but I'm still glad I tried it. Plus, it was a great complement to all the wonderful desserts they had. The "Key Lime Cake" and "Mango Passion Fruit Cake" were my faves. I think the Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake leave much to be desired, not nearly as fluffy or decadent as American versions. Road trip for some bahn mi... We saw a YouTube video of this chain and my husband immediately wanted to try it. As we searched the nearest location, it turns out it was about an hour away from us. Of course I had to search their socials and scope out the rest of the menu and reviews. First, it took a few detours to find the actual place since gps was a bit off based on the address. It tells you to turn on Garden Ave but it's actually off one of the main highway (sorry forgot the name). It's located in a small lot. Once we finally found the restaurant you can see the cute decorative outdoor area with seating and outdoor games right in the front. It was a nice day out so we enjoyed sitting outside. You come into a very spacious but cozy spot and immediately greeted with a smile from the staff (I love that!). Just a heads up - the menu is LARGE. I thought i took my time but I definitely missed some options that I wished I had selected instead after finding them. So my husband already knew what he was gonna get which was the combo special bahn mi and he also tried the vegetarian option. I wanted to be different and get the croissant option. We both got fruit ice teas, which I highly recommend getting boba since I surely missed that option lol. The teas were perfectly brewed and balanced with sweetness from real fruits. The bahn mi were fresh, plump, and delicious. The bread had a nice crunch as you bit into it, as it should. The croissant option was good too, but it was a typically buttery croissant but not flakey, which didn't give much texture when you bit into the sandwich. After we ate our sandwiches, which we only ate half portions, we had some desserts. They have a nice selection of cake slices, puddings, and I think some Vietnamese desserts, as well. We wanted to try out their bubble waffle and gelato. The bubble waffle was good - had a nice bite and flavor to it. My husband liked the coffee gelato. Very strong Vietnamese coffee flavor to it. If you're looking for a quick bite that offers specialty drinks and desserts, definitely try this place out. read more

I didn't try the bahn mi so i can't really speak to that. I did try the firecracker shrimp, which were pretty tasty but it was only 4 pieces for $7.80- so i thought that was a little much. The pork satay was decent- we liked it, but nothing crazy. The bulgogi fries were very disappointing though. The meat was burnt and had NO flavor. The fries, although semi seasoned, lacked salt. There were like 12 fries in there for $8 which i found pretty bizarre. Please do not get those. i also tried the korean corn dog (potato mozzarella) it was pretty good- i just wish it could've come with a dipping sauce (spicy mayo, sweet chili, mustard, etc). Although I was pretty dissatisfied with the food, i will attest to the establishment itself. It was very clean and inviting. They have an outdoor patio with chairs and games and that's super nice. Even the indoor seating is good for either a quick stop or even to sit down and enjoy your food. The service was good and they also have a tablet where you can order no contact if you prefer that (i usually do). As much as i wasn't so fond of my first visit, i may return to try the drinks, pastries and bahn mi. I gave 3 stars because I didn't try their main dish so i don't want the side dishes to be the primary focus of my review. I also liked the little establishment and thought it was cute so i want to give it another try. I will follow up on my next visit. A bit of a messy disaster but I knew I had ordered it for the novelty. All in all there's a few banh mi places in town now, and this one kinda falls near the bottom of the pack.
