The absolute height of professionalism, honesty, and integrity! Jorge and Brian have been performing routine maintenance on my unit for the last few years, after I initially called Chesapeake Heating & Air Conditioning because my 1-year-old unit was blowing warm air, and I thought it had already died or had a major Freon leak. Brian walked in, took a look at the unit and said he knew EXACTLY what the problem was five seconds later. He saw the float valve was popped up on the drainage tube (which I didn't even realize was something I needed to be on the lookout for ). He cleaned out the drainage tube and the rest of the unit for good measure, and I appreciated both the quick assessment, resolution, and education he gave me on maintenance during that visit. I signed up for their twice-yearly maintenance package that day, and I've been a happy subscriber ever since. Jorge has come to do the maintenance the last couple of times, and he is thorough and equally as knowledgeable as Brian. When he had a concern about the air flow coming out of one of the vents, he was quick to volunteer to crawl under the house to take a look at the duct work, and I really appreciated his honest assessment of it. The insulation is starting to fall down and wear out, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear that I could save up a few more years before the ductwork would probably actually need full replacing, and he gave me a ballpark figure based on the square footage and number of vents in my house, so I can plan accordingly. Much appreciated!! A company that employs people with such knowledge and integrity is a company that will have my business for decades to come. Their twice-yearly maintenance for heating and air conditioning is easily one of the best (and surprisingly affordable!) investments I make each year. Worth every penny! read more

A tech person was out to our home to investigate the bad sound our gas pack heating system was making w/in hours of contacting for services. 3. w/in 24hrs, replaced the bad part... 4. The Service tech was nice and worked quickly to resolve/replace that bad part. 5. Communications were fantastic... text when coming out, text that the part was obtained and texted "Here to replace the part" 6. My thermostat panel was blank and would not turn on and the weather has been in the 30's to low 40's. Needless to say I was freezing in the house. I called to have someone come out and check on it. I thought they would have to change out the panel and was calculating a large unwelcome bill. The soonest they would be able to send someone out would be the next day. Well Brian, who had come out to help us with the thermostat last year, called later that same day and walked me through a few things that I could check on my own and was able to help fix my problem over the phone. I'm like most people. I read reviews and I decide based on a common thread whether I should try something new. I rarely leave them, because I'm rarely this impressed. So my AC would (of course) go out a few days ago (it's June and 90+ degrees) and I called these wonderful people to have the tech come out and fix the problem. First of all, they ANSWER THE PHONE & pleasantly. No sending me to voicemail in my time of need. I was already impressed. Tech timeframe was very reasonable and I was also contacted when he was on the way to my residence. Another plus. He knew almost instantly that it was my fan motor and my capacitor gone bad. This can be a bit expensive. He had me wait a few moments while he went back out to check the serial number. I WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY and had NO CLUE!!!! This cut my repair cost IN HALF immediately and I was getting actual manufacturer parts!!! The fact that he took time to check says a lot about who you're dealing with. This company is on the ball. From the Mary down to the installation technicians they know their business. Brain came out and accessed our situation and we agreed we needed a new system. Dillon and John arrived at about 9am and completed the return vent, drain line and HVAC total removal and installation in about 5 hours. They carefully checked and double checked every part of the system. I can't say enough on how great these people are. Mary is always there to schedule and coordinate , Brian is very through and accurate with his estimate. Dillon and John know exactly what needs to be done and went to work immediately upon arrival. This company gets an A+ in my book, after contacting two other companies prior to them we were quoted extremely high prices to replace our ac unit. Then my husband called After hours heating and cooling and they agreed to come out to take a look at things and give us a quote,no fee invoved,which was a blessings since the company before charged us 89.00 to do the exact same thing. so we made the appointment for them to come and Bryan was right on time, after taking a look he gave us a guote literally half the price as the others a very reasonable price for both a new ac unit and furnace. We had an emergency with our heat pump and they were able to come out quickly and fix the problem with our old system even though it was in the evening. This company did such a good job,was on time and offered reasonable rates that we decided to have them install our new system when we were ready. Called them on a Saturday early evening and a technician was out in 45 minutes to fix my furnace, the issue was a bad flame ignitor which took 30 minutes to diagnose and fix. The tech, Mamood was professional and friendly. Our AC had pretty much stopped blowing any air out of the vents in the house. I called the number listed on Yelp and was immediately helped by a woman named Connie who arranged an appointment for us to be seen within the hour. Brian came out to our home and quickly diagnosed the issue. The customer service he provided was fantastic, as he took the time to show me what the problem was and taught me a little about how the AC coils were set up in the attic. He also offered tips on general maintenance in the future. I found Brian to be an honest person and didn't try to overcharge or make unnecessary repairs. I was so impressed with this company. One, I was impressed by the fact that Brian came in and put booties on to not mess up the carpet. It was quite nasty outside, to include having a face mask on. Immediately, not even diagnosing the issue, Brian informed me that he smelled an odor coming from the vent downstairs as he entered the home. He listened to the unit outside from the WINDOW, and informed me that it sounds like a motor issue. He went in the attic came back and showed me a bad capacitor. He stated that he wanted to start there first to see if replacing would solve the issue. Within 30 minutes, he replaced the bad part and the heat began to blow. I felt Brian was HEAVEN SENT to my home, as another company came initially and could not find anything wrong or smell the odor AT THE DOOR. I was taken care of within 1 hour. With temps expected to be in the 20's - my heat went out on a Friday evening after 5 pm - lovely. So, based on the previous reviews I called this place. Long story short, Brian came out around 9 pm and thoroughly checked out the unit. You can always tell if someone knows what they're doing and I can attest that he does. It turned out to be the circuit board (which is a known problem with some Goodman models). I would call this place not only for emergency repairs but, repairs in general. The price was fair and the service is excellent. Don't let the name fool you - I would call for any heating and a/c issues whether it's installs or repairs. I am beyond happy with the service we got today. When the technician got here he was great. I got a little nervous Because my air turned on and was working. But he still hooked up his stuff to check my unit. He took me in the attic and showed me what I needed to check for and how to do maintenance myself. After thinking my Heater (Gas Pack) was fixed 3-days ago by another company, Brian was contacted on a Saturday and although his plate was full with service calls, he came by and within 15-minutes identified the problem that was actually caused by the previous service company.
