They are no longer at that location. Bikes are obtained at public bike racks around town and unlocked with a combination that is texted to you. That is very convenient but knowing that ahead of time would have been nice. Alse, their prices were increased over the ones advertised online. The prices are still reasonable, but they should honor the advertised prices until they get their act together.

There is an entry fee for non AA county residents of $8 and for residents it's maybe $5, cash or card. Lots of parking at all different places. Recommend coming early on nice days to avoid crowds. I have been many times to do many things and we always enjoy coming back!

Numerous trails and options throughout, and the park is open from 7 AM until dusk. Among the options are a dog park, art galleries, playgrounds, kayak rentals, ice skating, and picnic areas. I did not get to the Visitors Center, as it closed at 4 PM. We visited the South River Overlook Trail, which was four-tenths of a mile in length, and had benches at the water to fully enjoy and appreciate the spectacular views. There are six other trails, ranging to as much as a mile and one-half in length. An $8 entry fee for automobiles, additional for larger vehicles, and they also offer lifetime senior passes.

Entry is well supervised and easy. We chose the Blue Moon kayaking tour. Loaded up at sunset with little lanterns, paddled along a tributary of the Severn River to admire the sky, trees, birds. sailboats, pleasant architecture of the residences on the banks. Quite serene but if you're expecting Nature Only, you'll be disappointed because it is surprisingly built up. Still we enjoyed it immensely bc we'd never seen this lifestyle before. Our guide was informative about the ecosystem and everyone got to enjoy the blue moonrise. Paddling back in the dark was fine. Loved rocking in the wake of a passing boat or two. Highly recommend.

Jessie answered all of my emails and was super happy to be more than accommodating. I originally was scheduled to stand up paddleboard on Saturday, however, the weather was miserable and not a good day to be in the water in my opinion so I emailed and asked if I could just have a rain check. She emailed back and said it would be no problem! My daughter and I showed up today a little before 11 and everything was literally laid out for us. Jesse gave my daughter and I clear instructions. We headed down the grass to meet with Dave who helped us get on our boards and off. We went. The water at sparrows point was very calm and literally perfect for stand-up paddle boarding. My daughter and I had the very best time today and I definitely plan on coming back and would recommend this fun activity for anyone Mahalo Jesse for being a wonderful a responding to all of my questions in email:) My family and I will be back!

My friend and I went on Saturday and had a perfect day with warm weather and no wind. The water was calm and very easy to paddle board on. We chose to rent the paddle boards without an instructor as we've gone many times before, but they also offer lessons, tours, and fitness classes. At the end of our one hour session, the instructors helped us off our boards and offered us slices of watermelon when we went to return our paddles. They have their own parking lot so that you don't have to worry about finding and space and they have an area where you can leave your belongings while you paddle.
