Ashley, at the front desk of the Midlothian location, and Will, who conducted my CT scan were phenomenal.

The pain was still not controlled, and when I told the dr I was still in pain he started treating me like a drug seeker "we will not be giving you opioids tonight." Then when I got tired of his smart aleck attitude I asked him if he treated everyone this way. He just kept repeating "do you have any other questions?" Over and over. Then I'd ask him one and he would ask me "do you have any other questions?" I asked him why was he talking to me like a robot. I Then asked to speak to a patient advocate because I knew he was stereotyping me and refusing to treat my pain in an appropriate way. With a smirk on his face he said "it's the middle of the night on a Friday, no one's here but me." Then he walked out. His name was Dr (I use that title loosely) Jeffrey Mason. I will be contacting a patient advocate on Monday and reporting the way he degraded me. The charge nurse and all the other nurses there advocated for me but he wouldn't budge. It was weird. They saw the pain I was in. All he saw was what he wanted to see. People like HIM should not be Dr's.

We were greeted with a friendly face at reception, followed by a full team is staff who assessed what tests were needed and took action. Dr. Jones and nurses were so very attentive. They listened even though they were definitely busy. Thanks to the staff and their treatment, my Mother's head pain was significantly reduced to a tolerable level. Thank you, Bon Secours staff.

Keep up the good work It's individuals like this that makes being hurt or sick not too bad. I was ask to come into your office for more blood work, Kidneys When I went into office Patient First, they had no record of telephone call. No one saw me or knew nothing about telephone call. Dr sent me home. No office visit. The black female Doctor told me I was to bring all my current medicines each time I visit Patient First. You have it in computer. Doctor Douglas Powell is my current Doctor. I was sent home with out anything being done. This Doctor has a terrible New Jersey personality. No more visits with her. This is the southern state of Virginia not New Jersey. I went to Kidney Doctor as requested. Kidneys are ok. Patient First being told. My past Doctor Douglas Beckwith retired

I…read morewent in to the emergency room after a visit patient first who told me that I had a lot of anomalies in my blood work along with a few other issues and they sent me straight to the emergency room. When I got there, they ran the initial blood tests and everything as well and found all of the same bloodwork anomalies. Well, all of the nurses in the ER were super nice, super helpful and helped me tremendously since I was by myself for quite some time. My boyfriend showed up and stayed with me until they were just getting ready to take me to a room, which was at 2 AM in the morning. So technically I'd sat in the ER room for 10 hours but because of all of the test testing and everything it pretty much went quickly. And I sent my boyfriend home around midnight to take care of our dogs. Anyways, the bathrooms in the ER we're fairly clean and well stocked. But you're also sharing bathrooms with 100 other people lol. When I finally got to my room, the nurse that was assigned to me on Night Shift got me hooked up to multiple multiple. IVs took vials and vials of blood and all the while making me feel very much at ease. I had this particular nurse for two nights in a row and she was nothing but sweet and kind. She allowed me to sleep through some of the things she had to do to get my vitals and everything. I ended up staying three nights and was allowed to be released Tuesday late evening. All of the food was not terrible lol not that I ate all that much. And the lady who delivered my food three times a day was the most happiest lady I've ever met. The only thing I hated was that because of all the IV lines and medication's and vials of blood being taken from me. I only had a short walk from my bed into the bathroom and couldn't even shut the door and had to wash my hands in the room because I couldn't even reach the sink in the bathroom. The doctor that was on the floor for most of my visit I found him kind of cocky at first, but as I got to know him better and was able to ask questions he turned out to be a pretty good guy. For those who were wondering, I had taken some water pills at home that were verbal apparently that depleted a lot of stuff in my system, including potassium, sodium, etc. So they got that fixed. Then the day before I was released, they found out I had pneumonia and had been misdiagnosed with bronchitis several weeks before and was on the wrong medication's and because that doctor had recommended me take Tylenol when I started running a fever somehow or other, I managed to overdose on Tylenol because it not only was in pill form, but it was also in other medication's. They had given me for the bronchitis so I had a whole lot of things going on, but I made it through. Happy to be home. I know this is a lot to read, but this is and was my experience.
