Their signature burger is a mushroom Swiss burger. I ordered the burger cooked medium. The burger arrived sporting a heavy roll type bun with lettuce, tomato, a small onion ring or two and a very small side of slaw. I thought the bun was too big and heavy for any hamburger but that's personal preference I guess. The meat had clearly been cut twice and arrived in 3 pieces, presumably to see how cooking had progressed. It tasted dried from the cuts and a bit old with a hint of that smell of ground beef that had overstayed its welcome in the fridge by a day... not spoiled but not fresh. We quit going to the Hayesville Chevelle's location months ago, because of consistently poor service and the food was marginal, at best! Well today, we were in Murphy and thought we'd try this location. At least they're consistent, the food at the Murphy location is just as marginal and perhaps worse than the Hayesville location. My wife ordered naked and hot, wings and I ordered a burger (medium) and fries. Pretty basic food order, but they managed to screw it up! My wife's wings were served breaded and half were hot half were plain! My burger was served RAW in the middle. I can understand now, their poor rating on YELP! They deserve it. Come on Chevelle's, hire some quality help in your kitchens, that can at least fry or grill a burger without screwing it up! read more

This bar/restaurant has wonderful food, drinks, service, and atmosphere! We ordered the Crab Cakes and Zucchini Sticks appetizers and I had the Rum Punch to drink. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. (The Crab Cakes portion was (2) crab cakes for the appetizer.) It was warm out so we sat outside on the sofa next to one of the bars. It was relaxing and perfect just sitting outside on the patio. Everyone was so nice and our server took excellent care of us and checked on us often. I have been to Chevelles a few times before. I am not a sports bar kinda guy, but they had my team on TV, so my wife took me there for some "barfood" and Thursday Night Football! The service was excellent and helpful (they sat us with a view of 3 TV's). The place is clean and festive. Onion Rings were battered and delicious and not greasy. Hot wings were meaty and delicious. Crab cake was delicious as well. The cheesesticks were the best I have ever eaten and the fried ravioli were incredible. I Love bread pudding. It was massive and a masterpiece! I am not a hater, but I hate fruit added to bread pudding (except maybe 3 or 4 raisins) which has seemed to be a trend lately. No peaches, coconut, apples, or raisins. Just simple and delicious bread pudding with a bourbon sauce that made me wonder when I will be back again! read more

I have had 2 very and experiences at Chevelles lately. Two weeks ago my family and I came in on a Friday evening around 6pm. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and his came out with no sides, nothing. My mother and I ordered a steak with roasted potatoes and the potatoes were so over cooked you could not cut them with a butter knife. My stepdad also order a steak that was ordered med rare and came out well done with the same roasted potatoes. My sister ordered the chicken alfredo and it came out as spaghetti. We waited for almost an hour and this is what we received. My cousin ordered a plain kids burder and it came loaded and was rang up as an adults meal. It took an additional 45 mins for my sister to get what she ordered. We asked for baked potato in space of the roasted potatoes and that also came out over done. Our server was terrible, it was obvious that he was knew but he didn't know the answer to any questions. I asked if they had margaritas and he said no (which was the special of the night). I was very polite to the host and he gave me a 10% which I do not feel was good enough. I went back again for wing night (the wings are ALWAYS wonderful), we ordered bbq and about 3 of the 6 wings came out so spicy I couldn't eat them. I got a to go order of wings and I got home to find no ranch or blue cheese or celery and I got an to go chicken strip meal with honey mustard sauce. It came without slaw or sauce (which I payed extra for). I really HATE to complain to this extent but I work at a business that we refer customers to your restaurant daily. The burgers were very dry, seemed to have used canned ingredients for toppings, ordered the garlic fries and most of those were burnt and so hard they were unedible. We will NEVER be ordering from this place again. We will NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever again. But hey, if you're in Marion, OH, I do recommend stopping at Dino's Bar and Grille if you want to get a GREAT burger, Maybe these people should go there to learn how to make a good one. Went to Chevelle's last night (Saturday, October 8, 2016) to hear the band. Arrived around 9:10. there were two bartenders, one guy and one gal. The guy told me his name was Mike. I ordered a Grey Goose Kamikazi- Mike used no brand vodka and way too much triple sec, shook it, gave it to me, then charged me $ 11.50. I expressed to him that a Kamikazi has lime juice in it too, so he takes the drink, fills the glass with lime juice, puts it down in front of me, and walks away. Terrible service, total attitude, way overpriced drink, and the "bartender" doesn't have a clue as to how to mix drinks or interact with customers. If you're considering going here, you'd be better off just putting twenty dollars in your toilet and flushing it- at least the service would be better. read more

The assigned server did not take our drink order, rather someone I assume to be the owner/manager/ hostess. She didn't seem all to pleased to take our order. Newsflash... no crowd in the place, no need to be a bitch. An hour later and three beers in, still no food. Alas, the food arrives. Not all at the same time. The steak is blazing hot and cooked correctly. Potatoes as cold as ice. Steak sandwich, very nicely cooked. Catfish sandwich was really good. Chicken sandwich was good as well.
