I love this place and will gladly go out of my way to stop here when I'm in the area. The first thing that surprised me was the interior. The tall ceilings and open space create a really unique atmosphere that feels both welcoming and modern. It's a place that's comfortable to spend time in, not just grab a coffee and leave. What I appreciate most is that it feels like a true family business. You can tell the people behind the counter genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they've built. I've tried a lot of coffee drinks, blood orange bath is a first. I definitely like this concoction. I'm still new to the area, but this is the first coffee place I've been to that's not a chain, and for that alone I'm a fan. She also said my name when she handed me my drink and it wasn't written down in the cup, which is a nice touch! Also, it's very cute inside and they have board games and record player! WARNING This looked like the sort of coffee shop we need in Barstow. It looked like a bakery where one could have a sit to enjoy a book of work on the computer. That's not what it is. The love cases are full of stale muffins and other coffee cakes wrapped badly in sarn wrap. There's not one thing is eat in the whole collection. I asked a stout latino woman when she fills found time for me. The place wasn't busy but her co worker chatted on and on until a beautiful couple got behind me. I asked for a crossing. She said sausage and I agreed to it against my better judgement. I added a small coffee with room for cream. This took ten minutes. I stood around but she didn't care. I could be wait to get out of there. They got the $ so I was forced to stay. When my order came the sandwich was a nuked disaster in a bag to keep me from seeing or feeling the heat. The coffee was spilling over the rim. I dump some and when I saw how dark it was with cream I new it was burnt coffee with hours in the pot. It was afternoon and I understand coffee isn't made for after am patrons. But you make a new pot or have a French press for later day orders. There's this board behind you that lists a menu of amazing drinks with appetizing names. There's a lot of cold tropical fruit offerings. The handwriting is lovely but I'm pretty sure they can't serve so many varieties with the traffic I've seen around there. I like to support small business but when I tried to talk to the stout latina she told me no English. But I just heard you speak English. I paid close to $9 with the tip It would be a waste of money but I get warn you guys not to make my mistake. You may want to try it out and that's okay. What a hidden treasure in Barstow! This coffee shop is bright, spacious, and inviting. The service was fast and friendly, and most importantly the coffee is DELICIOUS. I had the orange blood bath and it was phenomenal, with a forward taste of orange and a delightful, lingering taste of lavender. I stopped by this morning and was promptly greeted by the owner who was very pleasant! I got a blood orange latte and a vanilla latte and both drinks were great and not too sweet! I pass through Barstow quite a bit on my travels but never early in the morning, but this trip I did, so I looked up coffee shops in the area. This place is right next to the original Del Taco and locally owned. It's decorated with Route 66 and a little Hispanic decor, and looks great! The employees were friendly and the place was clean. I ordered the sausage and egg sandwich, homemade cinnamon muffin and an iced latte. The sandwich was ok. It tasted as if it was frozen and then cooked. The latte was made perfectly though and the homemade cinnamon muffin was delish! (Forgot to take a pic) I actually stopped by again yesterday but it was closed. They do close early. I very much wanted to give this location a high rating. As much as I felt welcomed and the friendly demeanor of the older female barista it is all for not if the coffee falls short of a good brew. I was highly disappointed to find that the coffee was no better than a truck stop coffee joint. Went out of my way to find the location. The atmosphere was very cute and friendly, and the owner and her husband were very sweet. They were kind enough to offer to fill our water bottles with ice before we left. The menu was extensive and had quite a few options, they had milk alternatives, and the coffee was delicious. This review is based on one single experience and not any of the drinks There's street parking allowed out front The owner (from photos inside) pointed the menu out to me upon arriving which I appreciated because I was looking for it but unfortunately I only got a bagel and cream cheese and I was half expecting the cream cheese to come on the bagel but it came on the side in a individual pack, which is fine. But the bagel itself was very dry and stale, it was toasted but the toast didn't go to the center the center wasn't really warm but again the bagel was just so thick and dry and stale and I only got one cream cheese and it wasn't enough to make up for the dryness of even a half. I ended up throwing the rest away. I found this place through google/yelp and came due to the reviews but just sharing my individual experience and the stars reflect that. Customer service was great. Food just wasn't fresh so a bit disappointing as this was my breakfast stop on the road and I had to stop somewhere else instead and add more time to my trip read more

So glad there's an actual coffee shop in town now! I'm a seer frappe lover and even I liked how their specialty coffees weren't unbearably sweet they were perfect balance. I got the Desert Tortoise and it was a great balance of sweet with an actual coffee taste. They had pastries from Old Town which was a familiar and pleasant surprise from a bakery down the hill.
