I've been going here for oil changes, so I thought I'd give some mechanical work a shot. BAD DECISION and I smack my head wondering why I didn't read the Yelp reviews. Where do I start? At the end of March, I brought my 1994 Chevy Astro in for a major service: belts, hoses, oil, transmission/radiator flushes, plugs, and cap and rotor. They released my van with grease spots all over my light gray carpet around the dog house. I brought it back the following week and they removed most of it. I can't fathom releasing a vehicle in such condition! Then at the end of April, I brought it back for an inspection on the prior work, and was recommended to have some front-end work done: lower control arms, bushings and a new radiator (why the radiator leak wasn't identified during the previous service confounds me). It took not one, but two other shops to rectify Chevron's inept work. #1 - The van was released with a grinding noise coming from the front passenger side; I took it to Johnson's Alignment, where they reinstalled the springs and upper control arm bolts - I was notified that one of the springs was bolted to the body incorrectly (!) and the washers were two on one side and none on the other! Johnson's also installed a new left idler arm, which should have been identified at Chevron. The technician at Johnson's literally shook his head over what he fixed. #2 - Whoever did the radiator (Hector?) apparently punched the radiator shroud with a screwdriver to get at the bolts, which were then not even reinstalled. Angel's Electric BOLTED IN a replacement shroud. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. I am disputing $$ for both the radiator shroud and incompetent front-end repair. Can't leave negative stars on Yelp, but would if I could. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. I'll never set foot in this business again - somebody else is getting my future oil change business. read more

I came in with a Groupon for $49 and was worried that it was too good to be true for a Full Synthetic Oil Change given that my truck uses 8 quarts of oil. The addition charge was only $26. Not bad at all. There were a lot of people but I only had to wait 15 mins for them to pull in the truck. Service is great. They are friendly and at tentative. Usually paying a cheap price you get crappy service. Not here. I think I found my go to. It definitely beats changing the oil myself cuz it takes 8 quarts it would've cost me $80. If I find out what brand oil they use, I will update my review. read more

They are always fast with great service, but today's visit was incredibly fast and convenient! When we arrived, Hector waved us straight into the bay, and in the time it took to settle up and redeem my groupon with the cashier, the oil change and thorough inspection was already done. The "SCAMMER" reviews are 100% accurate. I once came here for an oil change. I guess I looked dumb because they tried to sell me brake pads. I had just had the brake pads replaced a month ago. I told the guy that and he said he'd "take another look" and then was like "oh yeah they're fine. My tech must have been confused." Shops exaggerate how badly worn brake pads and other parts are all the time to make a sale but it takes a whole different level of audacity to sell brakes without even looking at them first! read more

Went here for an oil change a year ago and will not be returning. The staff was very polite the entire time I was there and helped me when I wasn't sure whether to go with synthetic or conventional oil. However, after the oil change, they recommended three expensive services for my car which no other oil change business has mentioned before or since my visit - Brake Fluid Flush, Power Steering Flush, and Fuel Injection Service. At my next oil change at a different business, they said that the oil filter was from very old stock and that the drain plug had been overtightened. read more

Don't get your oil changed at this place and for that matter anything else because they won't do the job but they'll take your money. I paid for an oil change in early November (2023) with a Groupon and just a few days ago my engine oil light came on so I checked for leaks and the oil level and sure enough the oil was gone. I wasted my money. They did not do the oil change. Stay away. Go to your dealership and pay the extra money or at the very least maybe Valvoline. This is not an accusation. I had to buy two quarts of oil to put in my car cause engine oil light came on and when I checked the oil levels it was confirmed. read more

So this place did a good work on both my cars. I had a '98 Honda Civic LX and a 2010 Nissan Altima. I was always treated well by the technicians and the staff. I even liked the Groupon deal they gave. However when I brought my fiancé there, the difference was night and day. We went next door to the Starbucks to wait for the service instead of wait in their waiting room. He has an ignition interlock device in his car. We waited for 45 minutes until we gave them a call and asked for the status on his car. They didn't service it because they said it was a health hazard to touch his interlock device. His information was on the waiver, and they didn't bother asking for his help to start the car. No, instead we waited almost an hour just for them to say we can't service the car. I'm not going back here nor do I recommend anyone go there. read more

After getting a Groupon for full synthetic, the guy at the counter insisted on charging me an extra close to $50 on the already $62 Groupon I paid for oil change. They did not include such an option in the Groupon, but want the customer to get in and then be in a bind. I voiced my dissatisfaction to the guy that was at the counter, and since he is only getting a salary, he didn't care, and said "every deal has a catch in it": Well young man, no. I go here all the time for oil changes, the price for an oil change I haven't found for a lower price anywhere else. Everyone on the crew has also been honest with me when they recommend additional repairs, giving me a timeline of when best to do it if I can't afford them at the time. Robert helped me last, and he was very transparent with me, even giving me a heads up to services they don't provide themselves, but with the recommendation of a place nearby with great deals. I called this place to see if they had any oil change openings. The dude on the phone said yes both are open but to "hurry up as it will fill up fast." Well 5 mins later we arrive and there are 5 cars there. The dude lied to get us to rush over there at which point we weren't going to turn away. I have issues with unethical auto shops and this is just another run of the mill one unfortunately. Your choice if you want to deal with their BS or the Valvoline down the road. While driving I noticed that my Service Engine Soon light came on and not too long after that my Reduced Engine Power light came on so my first thought was to take my car to this Chevron location to get it checked out. This was my second time bringing my car here and my Dad had recommended it since he brings his cars there. I checked in at the front desk and explained what was going on to Jairo. He advised that they would see what the problem was. After a short wait, Jairo came over to talk to me and he said the Throttle Body needed to be replaced. We went over to my GMC Envoy so he could show me the part and explain it's role in keeping the car running properly. Jairo looked into finding me the best price for the part which I appreciated. He was very sympathetic and definitely made me feel better about having to spend that much money on my car. I waited in the Lobby while they did the Repair and with Tax and Labor it came out to $751. Jairo also fixed my right turn signal light and a brake light for me free of charge which was an added bonus! I've been getting my car serviced for years here. They always do an excellent job. This past week I got my car serviced and the incorrect mileage was put in the system by 10,000 miles. Went back in and they did another service paper with the correct mileage. I called my car company and said to go back to get it fixed in the system or to carry the paper with the correct mileage. Thing is was planning giving my niece the car and is worried since the mistake is on the system. Having second thoughts cause I don't want people to think I have given her the car fraudulently. Called again today cause to talk to the owner, got the gentleman who did the correction on another invoice. A few minutes later I got a call saying that I had an oversized drain plug, and it would require replacing the oil pan for over $80. I cancelled, then I put my car on a lift and took the drain plug off and it's perfectly normal. I took a picture. These people are thieves! A few weeks ago my car started beeping and told me to park quickly and look for a mechanic, this never happened, so by coincidence I got off the free way and stopped at this place where I always changed my oil, a guy I had never seen before told me that there was a 99% chance it was the hybrid battery in my prius, he ran the scanner twice in front of me and said i would have to change the battery, i was devastated but i told him to change it, he told me no toyota I would pay 4000.00 and with him it would be 2200.00, I left the car and drove away, I called a friend who understands about cars and commented on what happened, he said to take the car out of there that he had the scanner and would test it to confirm the defect, when he passed it he said it was a water pump, he bought the original parts at toyota which cost 400.00 and I gave you another 300.00 for the work, in short, I spent 700.00 , in short, they were not honest with me and they deceived me, luckily my friend it saved me, just like when i changed the oil there i asked if my car needed any repairs and they said no, two months later my girlfriend went back there and they gave you a list of things to change, summary they are not honest, they are not to be trusted, be careful read more

I came here with my partner back in February for a oil challenge. They were nice. I decided to bring my car in, full synthetic oil. Again, they were nice and quick, within 20min. I came home to change the spark plug and I found a rag under the hood? I know people are humans and forget. Update May 2020. I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, bought it used and did an oil change. I hope they can write in notes other services that needs but just wrote "4x4 service" This weekend I checked the spark plugs and decided to check the engine oil.
