I came here and the workers seemed to be so helpful. The owner drove my car down his yellow ramp, and my bumper came off because of the misjudgment of where the tire was coming down the ramp. They fixed the bumper eventually. Hamel was helpful and worked with me. He laughs a lot , as if he thinks customers are the dumb ones. I asked him about this and he said it was just his personality, he was very condescending. That isn't cool. read more

Took my car in for rear brake pads. The job took about 3 hours. They test drove it, came back, told me it was good, I paid, and left. Within 10 minutes of driving I felt the brake pedal go spongy, so I turned around and went straight back. When I described it, they tried to tell me it was just "break-in," even though a spongy pedal has nothing to do with break-in -- that's air in the lines or an incomplete bleed, not a mileage issue. Had to push back and insist before they'd actually check it instead of brushing me off. They ended up bleeding the brakes, which fixed the spongy pedal completely -- confirming it was their mistake from the start, not something I imagined or caused by "needing more miles." They only did this after I pushed, not on their own. To make it worse, while fixing their own error, the tech tried to pivot and tell me my front pads needed work -- totally unrelated to the rear brake issue I came in for, and convenient timing right after getting caught on the actual problem. If they'd owned the mistake immediately instead of arguing with me, I'd have no issue and would've returned. Instead I got pushback and a sales pitch while still dealing with a botched job, 10 minutes after paying. Won't be going back. read more

I get there on Thursday, scheduled for a Smog check. They were not that busy. A worker attended me in 2 minutes. I gave them my Smog checklist and I waited for them to work on my car for 10 -12 minutes. Fortunately I passed. They also alerted me some things that needed to be fixed. Very nice of them to check it out. During that week there was a promotion for Smog Check $5 off, total was worth $71. Noted for the next appointment. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I came here about a month ago for a safety inspection on my 2004 Tahoe. The truck has 120,000 miles, runs great, looks great, and has been taken care of its whole life. I've owned it for 20 years and never had any major issues. They kept my truck for almost four hours, and when they finally finished, the man helping me told me it wouldn't pass because the alignment was "way off." That confused me because I had literally gotten the alignment done one week before, so that already didn't make sense. On top of that, I had already paid around $200-$250 for this inspection. Then he added a whole list of other "issues" that supposedly made the vehicle unsafe. Knowing my truck and how well it's maintained, I didn't buy it. So the next day I took it to a different mechanic for a second opinion. They finished the inspection in about an hour, charged me less, and most importantly passed the vehicle with no problems. I even showed them the first inspection sheet, and they told me that the "problems" the other shop failed me for were completely incorrect. Everything on my Tahoe was in good shape. I honestly never write Yelp reviews, but this one I couldn't ignore. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Save your time, your money, and go somewhere honest read more

Try to support local businesses snd this happen We took our car here because it needed a brake and light inspection. Right up front they make you pay which i can understand but they did not tell us up front this was just to look at the car then tell us to fix certain things it would cost us 1700.00 hundred dollars. Just for a brake and light inspection. and if we did not fix it with them and took it somewhere else if we brought it after it was fix they would charge another 100.00 just for the certificate . Came here for a quick oil change based on the good Google reviews. Upon speaking about my options with the tech, he gave me 2 price points for what sounded like the same oil, but he could not clearly tell me the difference between the two outside of "one comes from a can and the other comes from a drum". After he finished servicing my car, he opened my driver's side door while I was sitting in the seat without speaking to me and tried to navigate through my car settings to confirm my mileage and oil life. Once I realized what he was doing, I tried to open the menu for him but instead he swatted my hand away which I found incredibly rude. I did end up getting the correct, recommended oil for my vehicle and the service took less than an hour, which I appreciated. But service was nothing to write home about. Fast service Honest employees Friendly Fair prices Came today to get a few services done on my car-- primarily, it was slow to start, but I also needed an oil change and new brakes installed Julio was the most helpful and honest shop owner I've ever encountered. He helped with my oil, told me my brakes did not need to be changed yet (I still wanted them changed on account of squeaking) and offered the battery that he had on-hand-- he immediately told me(without me having to ask) that I could buy my own battery from Costco down the street for much less and he would install it. He even re-charged my battery so that I would have enough juice to get myself to Costco and back. Oil change took about 20 mins and the battery install less than that. Brake pads will have to wait another day as I have lost my lug nut key and need to re-order. He took the time to explain that my brakes were fine (less than 50%wear) and that I shouldn't need to replace them ( but they squeal like a banshee and I'm embarrassed to drive on them). He explained my options and directed me to some local stores that could help with the lug nut key problem Everything was done quickly with little fuss. Recently went in for brake and lamp inspection for the DMV said it would take four hours for $127 he said to leave and come back I said I have to wait because I live nine miles away I observed 4-5 employees at this location and two were changing oil at the other station after 30 minutes they close the door where my car was located and I observed them checking my brake lights then he called me over and said your front lights needs replacing because they are low I can order them for $395 a set but if I can fix them I will charge you an additional $80 I said how can you fix a light bulb. He didn't respond he started writing the repair order and paid $120 for a sham I went to another Brake and Lamo Inspection and passed the fee of $140.
