Back to a Chevron gas station again. This time it was leaving LAX and this Chevron gas station is before the 405 freeway. My dad car needed gas so he wanted to come here. I'm cautious with using the credit card reader because of card skimmer so I used the wireless tap feature and got my receipt as well. Just know that since this gas station is near the freeway, the prices will be higher compared to a gas station further away. I would only recommend going to a Chevron gas station if you really need gas. read more

We stopped in here for booze; I'm just gonna say it. Well, they don't sell booze, so we used the restroom, very clean I'll add. I was standing in line, singing the song in my head, and out of nowhere, I hear this loud voice cheering me on. It was Tyrone, the absolute hands down best gas station employee I have ever encountered. He was cheerful, kind, and informative. He gave us plans for the night like a concierge at a hotel! He not only told us where we could get booze down the street, but he proceeded to educate us on why he couldn't sell booze at that gas station. This very informative young man had the best work ethic and personality, a fresh surprise in LA! In a gas station of all places! He even recognized us as we walked by on our way back to the hotel. He was outside emptying trash and helping people at the pump. What a gem! Give him a raise, boss! I will always gas up here when I'm in LA. read more

DO NOT come to this gas station!!! The worker here tried to steal $20 from us. My bf went to go pump gas and gave her $40. When he finished pumping only $20 was available , so he went back to complain cause he gave her $40 and only got 20 worth of gas. She kept saying he only gave her 20 when HE CLEARLY GAVE HER 40! He kept arguing back and forth w her and I checked in my car to see if it fell and he checked around him outside where he paid and nothing. He told her he was gonna call the cops to check the cameras and he came back to the car. When he came back to the car she came running with a 20$ bill and said he had dropped it when we checked and it wasn't there. SHE HAD IT ALL ALONG! Zero stars!!!! (I couldn't post review unless I pushed a star). I bought an orange juice this morning, got home and realized it was spoiled. Gave it a second chance but no, couldn't drink it. Definitely spoiled. Expiration date Aug 2019. The manager had an attitude and even made a rude comment. Then she set my refund on the counter and walked away, with the same poor attitude. If you can, try to steer clear of this gas station. There is a large problem with homeless peddling for change. In one instance I saw two of them get in a fight over who should be there. At any time there are three to four different people asking for money. I'll give it two stars because their gas price, while higher than my hometown and much higher than Costco gas, was the best price near the airport the last three times I've needed to stop there. Avoid this service station as it is a rip off We could not get the pump to take the card so we went in to pay cash but the clerk put it on the wrong pump which someone was using so she refused to correct it as they had to paid. We ended up leaving and finding a Valero. Then we were contacted by Visa Fraud division as Chevron had places several holds on our card for over $126. Each so our card was shut down. A terrible end to a perfect California vacation. This was worse then a third world country and we know as we travel I extensively. read more

The extra mile store was very clean and had everything that I needed in stock. The employee working at 6am was helpful and friendly. Good fuel prices for being close to the 405 freeway and lax. Great station, and again Chevron lives up to their high standard in my book. read more

Used my credit card to gas up at this particular station. A couple of days later my bank gave me a heads-up about a fraudulent transaction on my card at this station right after I gassed up. Not bad gas prices at all for being near the airport where the gas stations had made a cottage industry out of raping the people needing to fill their tanks of their rental cars before returning them. Friendly staff, clean soapy window washing fluid (big plus now a days), good Coffee selection and usually better prices then neighboring Chevron gas stations. The only reason it is a 4 instead of 5 stars is because you are almost always guaranteed to be meet by someone asking for money while fueling up. Some of those asking truly have a need, while others will lie to your face just to get your money. read more
