I was underwhelmed by this place. It got voted the best cinnamon roll and all of LA by many people. So I had to come try it. First off, 5 stars for the staff because they were the sweetest group! Their cupcakes were all sold out so I'm sure those are a hit. But I got the cinnamon roll, the blue velvet and the German chocolate cake. The cinnamon roll was good but I didn't feel it anything special. Just good. The blue velvet felt dry. Wasn't moist at all. And same with the German chocolate. Came here on the wrong day because did not realize it is near So-Fi stadium that had an event. The desserts were ok, not great. Portion size is really good, but again they were just ok. Had Strawberry Banana Pudding that did not had enough banana or strawberry with really sweet pudding and no nilla wafers. Had a blue velvet cupcake that the icing was really sweet. So boom--my wife is on a mission to grab Jamaican food from a strip mall, and I'm just minding my business... until I spot Sweet Red Peach. And let me be clear: I do not, under any circumstances, walk past a dessert spot like I've got self-control. That's just not who I am. I slide in there late in the day, and of course--they're sold out of half the menu. But honestly, that just told me everything I needed to know. If a dessert spot is selling out, they're not playing games. Luckily, the universe was on my side because they still had strawberry banana pudding... which is exactly what I came for. I took one bite and immediately paused like I just unlocked a childhood memory. I'm talking grandma-in-the-kitchen-on-a-Sunday type flavor. It was so good, I looked down at the cup, then thought about my four-year-old at home... and had a real moral dilemma about sharing. (Don't judge me.) The spot itself is small, but one of the customers told me when they first opened, there was a line out the door--which I 100% believe. Even when I went (late AND with half the menu gone), there was still a solid line. That's never a bad sign. I usually don't like German chocolate that's made by anybody other than Gwen's Specialty Cakes that I always get made for my birthday every year but this one is actually bomb okay bookies ! My grandma ordered the blue and my hg ordered the red velvet :) these cakes are so soft and full of moisture so when I put the spoon in for a bite it fluffs up as I cut into it which is so satisfying. As they said better late than never, that's probably me and my first visit to Sweet Red Peach. Not sure why I just figured this very popular cake shop, but YEAY I finally made my way there. Nothing fancy, not even indoor seats to enjoy the cake, but the line was constantly busy throughout the day. It's a humble long-standing old-school bakery with long cake displays. They served plenty of sweets in different size, from whole cakes, giant slices, to petite cupcakes, and in so many different flavors. Cheesecake, bundt cake, carrot cake, coffee cake, to the classic yellow cake. The affordable prices were doubtlessly the giant magnet to the crowd. My top 2 would definitely go to their Cream Cheese Pound cake and Blue Velvet mini cupcake. Super moist with generous and scrumptious frosting! Putting sugar and calories aside, I could just keep digging. Being so popular with their Peach Cobbler, I couldn't resist having the mini peach cobbler cupcake as well; but it's tad dry for my liking. Still couldn't substitute the award I granted to the blue velvet one. Feeling similarly with the chocolate chip cookie, but would always come back for their pound cake. This is an update from last review. The service and the sweets that come out of Sweet Red Peach are just delicious.. Yesterday I made it in enough time to order a banana pudding there was one left size (large) the large size is enough to share for 2 to 3 servings. they were sold out of chocolate chip cookies. However they did have chocolate chip cookies with pecans, oatmeal with chocolate chips. I picked up one of each. The cookies were pulled out of a warming tray. Cookies were warm and individually wrapped. So a quick grab and go. There were several customers ahead of me which allot me to decide what to get if they ran out of what I was there to pick up. This location has no seats or tables to eat your sweets. It's grab and go! They are taking orders for Thanksgiving I seen yesterday. read more

I think the pudding itself was $7.50 - portions were generous, could definitely split it between 2-4 people since it's quite sweet and comes in a medium sized container. I think I'd want to taste more banana and wafer in the ideal banana pudding - this one had a lot of custard which made it harder to eat after a few bites due to the sweetness. Service was quick and friendly, but it was about a15 wait before I ordered. You can tell it's a neighborhood favorite in Inglewood. They share a parking lot with several businesses so parking is easy and free. Street parking in the neighborhood is permitted so keep an eye on the signs. Ambience - super casual and to-go styled, there are no seats or bathrooms for customers inside. I'm curious about the cakes and cupcakes and may return in the future. read more

I am beyond disappointed with the service and quality I received. I placed my daughter's birthday cake order weeks in advance, yet when I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, the cake was not ready. I was made to wait an entire hour while they rushed to finish it. There is absolutely no excuse for that when an order is placed well ahead of time. It was obvious the cake was thrown together last minute. It was hard, dry, and visibly lopsided. This was for my daughter's birthday, and instead of a special, beautifully made cake, we were left with something that looked rushed and poorly executed. Planning ahead clearly made no difference, and the lack of professionalism ruined what was supposed to be an important celebration. I would not recommend ordering from here for special events if you expect quality and reliability. Very disappointing experience. read more

I start by admitting just I have been a big supporter of this business since running across their booth at one of the early Taste of Soul Festivals. Theirs was an extraordinary product. All baked goods were awesome: the cookies, German Chocolate cake, butter pecan cake, strawberry cream cake ; however over the past several months I have been extremely disappointed. The cost of course has increased, along with the size decreasing. The taste of the cookies indicating a lack of the ingredients that once made their baked goods superior. I purchased strawberry cream cake that was obviously frozen not fresh, frosting instead of cream; chocolate chip cookies with pecans that I had to search for the nuts and they didn't taste sweet....My beloved butter pecan wasn't moist and was lacking in pecans as well. And the straw that broke the camels back, I'd spent enough to earn a free slice of cake only to find out now I was limited in my slice selection. So I will not be spending my money there any longer. They also don't have the selection available as before, obviously they have cut down on what's available; I assume all is cost savings. Had to provide this feedback as it only seemed to be getting worse. I hope they read this and go back to providing a superior product at a competitive price. read more

The SRP has a delicious cookie on top, I don't really taste the toffee, but I do love the topping. The red velvet and carrot cake is out of this world.
