The awakening is such a cool hidden gem located in Inglewood California right near the Sofi Stadium. With excellent service from Jo and Alex I was able to order a shaken hazelnut latte that was really good. They also have a back space decorated wonderfully with lights and plenty of seating. 10/10 would recommend! read more

If I could give this coffee shop 100 stars, I absolutely would I found this coffee shop completely by accident while I was at Monster Jam, and I instantly fell in love with it. I normally only drink coffee once a day, but I came here three times in one day, and every visit was amazing. Their Banana Matcha is hands down the best I've ever had, and the Espresso Tonic with real fruit purée is just as good. The croissant and bagel were both delicious and generously filled. The space is huge, with plenty of tables and couches, making it perfect for working or just relaxing. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they're open from 5:30 AM to 11 PM, which is almost unheard of for a coffee shop. Now whenever I'm in the area, I can't help but stop by. Stopped by and got my usual iced cloud matcha , this time I tried the turkey havarti croissant. The croissant came with a dipping sauce but it didn't need it because it was good by itself. This will be my go to combo for a little while. Metered street parking is right outside but can be a challenge, so bring your patience. The service is excellent! Saying Hi and Bye to all who enter and leave; the staff is welcoming and depending on how large the crowd is they will also thank you when you send in your order through the kiosk. In addition, I had some concerns about the bathroom (which they handled immediately), however because I thought it was a managerial issue, I informed Liz, an employee, to get the person in charge for me. She stayed true to their protocol of trying to handle the issue herself, but I persisted multiple times. Eventually she complied. I spoke with the manager who came possibly from a break and listened intently and the referred me to another employee, Mike. Through the entire experience no one seemed agitated, no one was short with me; it felt like a normal and meaningful conversation despite the breach of protocol because of my perseverance. So kudos to the staff on 5/20/26 around 5pm. particularly Liz and Mike for handling a precarious situation with tact and customer-friendly service. The shift lead at 6:30 fixed drinks and at the same time entertained my concluding conversation about my experience along with telling me the employees' names and how to report my experience for about 5 minutes! Such a cute spot! It was my first time here, and one of the employees, Alex, was super sweet and gave my boyfriend and I great recommendations. We got a heavenly cloud latte and a Meli's strawberry peach iced tea and both were super yummy. I have ordered the Lavender Cloud matcha Latte, Cookie Butter Matcha Latte, Heavenly Cloud Latte, and Heavenly Cloud Matcha Latte. I would say everything was delicious. The only reason why I'm giving it a four star instead of five is because of the sweetest level. It was really sweet, but still delicious. It's really cool how they have a space in the back. I came here straight from the airport because I needed a place to cowork before checking into my hotel, and it was exactly what I needed. The front operates like a coffee shop, but in the back there is a huge coworking space. There is so much room to spread out and work. Tons of tables, plenty of outlets placed throughout the space, and everything feels open and bright. It genuinely feels like a community hub where you can either work independently or gather with friends. They also have games available like chess, Bananagrams, Monopoly, and Yahtzee. So if you are not working, or if you brought kids and need something to keep them occupied, there are options. One of the standout features is their $20 day pass. With that, you can book a private desk or room. You get a dedicated desk, a 27-inch TV display, access to booths, and private bathrooms. If you need something quieter or more focused, that is a great option. Now, fair warning: it is not silent. The music in the coffee shop area is pretty loud, and even in the larger coworking space in the back, the music carries. You can still hold a conversation, and I did take a meeting there, but for a coworking environment it is on the louder side. If you need complete quiet, I would recommend the day pass option. As for drinks, I had the double banana matcha and it was so good. Absolutely loved it. I also have my eye on the Heavenly Cloud for next time. Overall, I would definitely come back the next time I am in LA or near Inglewood. I came here to wait to pick up a friend from LAX and I could not have picked a better place. The service is great. They have a unique ordering system that I don't see too frequently. You order on the iPad and despite not needing to interact with the baristas, the baristas are extremely friendly and helpful. Immediately after you're done ordering, the iPad invites you to await in the Cyber Room which is a huge lounge where you can relax with friends or enjoy your beverage and treat. It is such a cute area and I feel so gratified just being here. Not to mention that their Matcha tastes similar to green tea, which I wasn't anticipating, but I pleasantly enjoyed and their cheese danish is huge. Totally worth the price. Why associate yourself with a man who claims black people have low IQ in a neighborhood like this? No idea. But if that's important to you then just skip this spot and go to Hilltop Coffee right up the street. The furniture and tables here are seriously filthy, and at least in the post-work hours, it seems they have no cleaning until closing time. The couches smell and they should have went all leather. The outside makes it look like a tiny hole in the wall place, but there is a large area in the back with lots of seating and a Tesla cyber truck parked lol. You have to order on the iPad so make sure you have your phone on you. I wish there was more than 2 iPads as there was a long line just to order and people took a long time as the menu is quite extensive, especially for drinks. Decorated with space-related neon lights, board games, comfy couches, and dining tables - it lends itself to communal work or sitting solo.
