I can't say enough about the excellent service I have received at Klahanie Chevron Service Station. I have been taking every car I've owned to them for over 20 years because they are honest, friendly and will only replace what's necessary. Just this last weekend my daughter's car was having engine problems so I had it towed to Klahanie Chevron. The following Monday they contacted us and told us what was wrong and what it would cost to fix it. They said they would try to get to it as soon as the part came in. The very next day they called us before noon and said it was ready. I was shocked because I know how busy they get but were able to fit us in and got it done so quickly. Shipped back home from the Marines in 2017, and the first thing I wanted to find in the vastness of King County was a good mechanic, and mother of god I was off to a wrong start. I tried over three different shops to include Firestone (thieves), and had very unpleasant experiences overall until I was referred to this place by a fellow coworker. I must say, these guys are absolutely awesome, and experienced professionals. They are very transparent about their work, and give you no B.S. assessments. They're typically booked out, but the wait is absolutely worth it for the quality of work they put in. I trust no one else with my Crossfire. Only thing I don't like is that they don't report to CARFAX, but everyone is ASE certified if that floats your boat. Wish I could give ten stars. read more

I have been using a garage in Fall City for 25 years. Took my Subaru Forrester in for a 60 K service and to check a vibration. I paid $600 for a spark plug change and they found nothing else. I was not 2 blocks from the garage when the vibration occurred. So disappointed. Took it to Klahanie Chevron. They found a disintegrated control arm bushing and a few other issues. All the service was completed same day, car was clean and all my issues gone. Im not a mechanic at all. I have no problem paying when I am confident I am paying a professional for a job well done. I love this place!! I stop by occasionally to have the fill my tires and they are so friendly and accommodating. I then went to them to change tires and a battery which they were able to quickly get me in. They updated me often thru text and phone call and found a couple issues and called to see if I wanted to do now while they had it or keep an eye on it. I had a flat tire and had my car towed to Klahanie Chevron. I had a cool keychain I got from my work that disappeared when my received my keys back after they changed the tired. So I'm about 90 percent sure somebody working there stole my keychain. It was either than or the 70 year old man towing my car who stole my Legend of Zelda keychain. That latter doesn't seem too likely. They also didn't fix my tire properly so it was scraping against the wheel well when I drove it to work the next day. I took it back and they fixed it. This would be forgivable but I was already kind of mad about my stuff getting stolen. I know it's only a keychain but if they steal that who knows what else their employees would take. read more

I was apprehensive about going to a gas station/service center but after getting rotors, breaks, control arm, and a rebuild on my transmission they now have my business. They always talk to me and not my boyfriend about issues with my truck and are very thorough with their work. We're new to the area, so when my car broke down in Issaquah I turned to Yelp to find a mechanic - I felt pretty comfortable given the high ratings this place has gotten, and the guy on the phone seemed friendly enough. Within a few days, they called to let me know that the car just needed a new battery, and that they'd replace it to the tune of almost $200 - sounded a little steep to me, but at that point I was just relieved it wasn't something more serious. Here's where the fun part comes in - I drove out to Issaquah to pick up my car with its fancy new battery, and drove it maybe TEN MILES before the thing stalled in the middle of a busy street and started smoking from under the hood. CLEARLY the battery wasn't the problem, or at least not the only problem. So now I get to pay for yet another tow, this time definitely to a DIFFERENT mechanic, to figure out what the actual problem is. I'm glad someone was so thorough in their inspection of my car that I got stranded again before I even made it home from the shop. I won't be back, and would encourage you to go elsewhere. read more

I had a check engine light come on, and got towed to this shop for service. It was a simple spark plug job that I didn't have time to do. Normally, this is a $50 DIY job that takes 30 minutes. They charged me ~$700. The quote was for an additional hour of diagnostics, and they claim they use the highest quality spark plugs (most expensive). I felt they were bs'ing me, but I really just needed the job done. What adds insult to injury is that Dave then attempted to convince me that my Rav4 desperately needed a new clutch. The clutch was brand new. I went back to the other shop that installed the clutch (Origin Auto in Bellingham), and they found no issues. I noticed no difference in the clutch at any point before, during, or after this false claim by Klahanie Chevron. It's been 3 months now, and still zero issues with my clutch on my daily driver. This shop is arrogant, and comfortable with taking advantage of the wealthy and unwitting in the area. The worst part about this, is that my family had been taking cars there every once in a while for years as we've lived nearby for 30 years. I can only imagine how many times they've ripped my Dad off without him knowing. read more

Great people great shop. If you live in the area I suggest going here instead of going all the way to the dealer. The shop is clean and tidy. They are ALWAYS honest with their customers and only use quality parts! Some other shops will give you a cheaper price, but its cause they are using Chinese made inferior parts. These guys will do work that lasts. A clean shop is a well run shop. Oh and for the guy that made the comment about gas prices... Seriously?! Bro that's harsh you should not give someone a bad review based on gas prices since that is not an easy thing for anyone to control. Where was the gas station in Seattle that you went to? Was it an Aarco or Costco? Drink a beer and relax gas prices change day to day. Cheers! Anyways if you have a car problem go here. Nice friendly people. Unfortunately it is not enough for doing a good job on cars. I began having issues with the car shortly after minor work on the engine. When I looked at the engine I noticed that they failed to properly reassemble some parts disassembled during the work. I decided to try this service station for my '99 Chevy Tahoe as I'd read some good reviews on NextDoor. From the sounds of it they are generally booked out a couple weeks, but with the stay at home order during COVID-19, it was easy to get in the next day. I had multiple items I needed checked (brakes, rotors, engine check light, brake light/electric issues) and a previous shop had tried a few times but couldn't seem to get everything corrected. John assessed my vehicle, made extremely helpful recommendations, diagnosed every item I asked and followed up with calls/messages every step of the way. He gave accurate estimates and let me know exactly what the issues were and the best way to go about fixing them- along with what was needed immediately and what wasn't so urgent. It was extremely refreshing to have this type of attention to my requests and input on what should be done with my vehicle. Thanks John, I sincerely appreciate the diligence and work you put into my car. It's running great and I'll be back in a few months to fix the other items you recommended! A couple of weeks ago I had both break lights go out at once. It was after work so my options for repair were limited. I was worried about driving home in the dark without my break lights. I took a chance and called my neighborhood Chevron at Klahanie. I spoke to a young man and he had me come right in. When I got there I noticed they were quite busy and I was really grateful that he squeezed me in. He determined it was just the bulbs and replaced them. He also replaced a front driving lamp that had gone out. Then after checking and filling the air in all 4 tires, he gave me the bill........less than 20.00. I am docking them 2 stars just because I had to book a follow up a week later due to my car having a leak again. Unfortunately, the reason my car was having a transmission leak wasn't due to the first fix they made, and it was being caused by another part in my car. They were very nice and informational in explaining what was causing the leak in my car, and I brought it elsewhere to have it fixed (due to the exact issue I was having it made more sense to take it to the dealership). The only issue I had in the end was that they didn't offer money back for the $$ I already spent on fixing my car the first time. They should have noticed the real reason my car was tearing up my seal so that I could have brought it to the dealership in the first place and not spend almost $400 on fixing it. read more

Our car went to this location as this is Gilman Autobody's mechanic. They removed engine and transaxle for repair, replaced suspension components, half-shaft, steering rack and clock spring. Received car back with no test drive, missing bolts on lines and power steering pump, new steering rack boots split open, grease from half shaft covering engine block, and firewall seal for steering column not installed. Did not test drive or at very least verify repair. Had to return a third time to shop to get all items sorted correctly. No apology given or compensation offered for lack of care or poor craftsmanship. Gas station attendant/receptionist was rude and not helpful. Would not choose this place to air up my tires. read more

I have never walked in and seen anything but a smile on not only the desk staff but the mechanics as well. They are all about helping the customer and making sure the problem is assessed the first time. Have always had very good service until recently. Made an appointment 10 days in advance and brought the car in before 9;00 AM. After 5+ hours the car had not been serviced. It is reasonable to expect that if an appointment is made the car will be seen close to the time arranged. I chose to pick up the car at this point. No explanation or apology was given at the time. Later I suggested that they may be taking on too much work. This situation does not reflect the highest quality work or respect for the customer and his time. read more

Once again Klahanie Chevron goes beyond all expectations for great customer service. Yesterday they fixed a flat tire at no charge as a favor to a continuing customer even though the tires were purchased elsewhere. They always do what is only necessary and at very competitive prices. On two occasions they informed me that costly repairs would likely be covered by a power train warranty and a manufacturer recall at the dealer. This saved me hundreds of dollars of which they could have done the work themselves and charged for. I highly recommend them for all your car care needs. read more

Reliable. Been here on two occasions, got fairly reasonable advise from them and fast repairs.

The team have been above average in their knowledge of service requirements and issues with a number of brands, including my Subaru STi. They did great work over the years, with no follow up corrections required, on a number of service items ranging from the cold air intake valve on the STi, full transmission replacement on an Explorer, and were helpful with advice on DIY projects like coil over suspension replacements. They have also come in below dealer pricing with Subaru, Honda, and Ford dealer quotes. On a separate note, some time over the past year they decided to be very competitive with gas pricing. They typically are same or a bit lower than other name brand stations in Issaquah and Sammamish, and lower on Premium. Only Costco has high quality gas at consistently lower prices. Caveat though: the posted price at Chevron stations is for cash purchases, which I think Chevron should not do. Post the credit card price like everyone else. read more

I used Klahanie Service Center for my vehicle maintenance since 2014. I always assumed that they are honest. By chance, I had to make new keys at Honda dealer one day. The Honda service representative told me that my steering oil is dirty and need flush and my serpentine belt need to be replaced. I was shocked since I just did these service at Klahanie Chevron Service Center couple months ago spending nearly $800. I did not believe at first. So, I asked the Honda service representative to show me. Sure enough, the steering fluid is dark and serpentine belt looks bad. Dealer quoted me almost $2000 to get it done right. I was so angry about the dishonesty of the Klahanie Service Center. I found another mechanic and their assessment is same as Honda dealer. I will never take my business to Klahanie Chevron Service Center again. read more

This is a great place to get your car fixed! I went there because my tire sensor was going off even after filling the air. The mechanic called and told me he didn't see anything out of the ordinary and after running diagnostics the light went off on it's own. When I asked how much it would cost for his time and running the tests, he said no charge because he felt he didn't fix anything. It was a while ago, and I think the mechanics name was Matt. Also, I have had co-workers come here in the past and they all say the same great things about their knowledge and level of service. Top notch! read more
