Spoke with Ken, Jeff's Autohaus new store manager. Ken apologized for the issues/overall experience I had. He recognized that the inflated pricing for the "recommended services" and the attempt to charge me for the oil pressure light scenario were unacceptable and due to poor managing practices preceding his takeover. While I cannot absolutely ensure that Jeff's service will be different, Ken's apology and explanations were genuine and thoughtful. He spontaneously offered to make himself available to help with any car-related trouble/need I might encounter in the future. I encourage new customers to speak to Ken. I am definitely feeling positively towards Jeff's future business relations under Ken's leadership. read more

We brought our car in last week because we were told by a dealer in California that the car needed its ball joints replaced and we didn't want to pay the ridiculous dealer price. The folks at Jeff's inspected the car and told us that actually the ball joints were fine and nothing needed to be done. They charged us nothing for this service. They got me in the next day and kept me posted on their progress as they worked on my car. I had my car back by the end of the day. They gave me a list of work and prices for things I'll need eventually and explained when I'd need the work and which things I could put off. They weren't pushy at all. STAY AWAY/FAR AWAY!!! My wife went in to get the brakes replaced on our 2013 Subaru Legacy. They replaced all the brakes and then took it upon themselves to fix other things they said were wrong without ever consulting with us if that would be Ok. When we go to pick up our vehicle the bill is now double what we expected it to be because of the "new" necessary work they did. You would think that would be where the story ends, but it doesn't. Driving the car home, it starts shaking uncontrollably. We pull over and have the car towed to our dealership (what she should have done in the first place). A quick inspection by Subaru told us that every single component of the suspension was either outright broken or cracked. There is no way according to them we could have done this via a car accident, especially since our car had no body damage. To top it off, Jeff's auto body sends us an SMS message saying our vehicle is due for MAJOR repairs, that we should come in and see them... WTF? These crooked bastards caused over $6000 in damages to our vehicle. That SMS was a damn insult. STAY AWAY from this THEIVES. They GET 1 star because I had to rate something to be able to post this review. They have been reported to the BBB also. read more

They fixed our car and it didn't have the same problem again but they are expensive. Although their hourly rate is low, they tend to find a lot of issues and the final quote is generally enough to shake you. I had problem with parking brake and they suggested a lot of work like changing the entire wiring, installing new brake and battery replacement which was only 2 years old. read more

I'm a first time customer for Jeff's Autohaus (Bellevue). I took my 2005 Audi A4 Cab. in for oil & filter service and to fix a leak in the transmission. Ken and Eric were very courteous and gave me a good first impression. The work was done timely despite the relatively high cost of the transmission work (guess that's the nature of the problem). My only issue was that the next day when I checked the oil level, it barely registered on the dipstick. When I took the car back in, they found the technician had not put in enough oil and added two more quarts. This is the first time this has happened to me and I was disappointed they didn't figure this out while the car was in for service - like checking the dipstick after putting in the oil. I like the way I was treated so it's possible I'll take my car there again but I'll double check things before leaving their shop. read more

I can see that this shop has come under new management recently. My experience was extremely positive and my *very* old Toyota Previa now purrs like a kitten. Previa's are weird minivans that are put together in the most convoluted way possible. So most mechanics won't work on them. I was turned down by 5 shops before reaching Jeff's. Jim's response: "no problem!" There was a cancellation and I was able to bring it in right away. Jim talked with me about the car and they took a look to find my problem (car was clearly only running on a few cylinders and sputtering). I got an estimate later the same day. Jim doesn't know this, but I checked the estimate I got against others for the same repair and it stacked up very well. I know a smidgen about cars, but I'm not an expert. I judge mechanics by their work, but also by how well informed I am when I'm done with a conversation. Jim gave me the breakdown of everything in plain language and explained costs and notes on the estimates patiently and respectfully. I green lit the repair and had it back the next day running smoothly!!! The bill came out to exactly the estimate, no surprises. They have a loyalty program which is really well thought out, and I will definitely be recommending this shop to friends and family in the future. Other things to note: the office is clean and quiet (and has a/c, which was very nice in this summer's heat wave). they have loaner cars onsite (i didn't end up using one, but it's good to know) Great job! read more

I have nothing to say but good things. I inherited an Audi Quattro that has been full of problems, despite low mileage. Ken has been more than helpful helping me prioritize what repairs MUST be done versus what can wait. He has been honest and straight with me and, as a woman who has never owned an Audi before, it means a lot to be able to turn to an honest, knowledgeable person for advice. I am a very satisfied customer of Jeff's Autohaus! When I took my car in for the first time, I waited for it and had the opportunity to listen to Ken speak with customers/potential customers on the phone. He was so compassionate. There was no "attitude". He was sincere, helpful and caring. Plus, the right guy is in charge. As I eavesdropped, I learned that Ken knows a lot about cars! He doesn't use this as a "know it all" kind of guy, but in a helpful way. I'm an older woman with limited car knowledge. I have been to many auto shops, and dealers where I have been made to feel like an older woman with limited car knowledge. But, not at Jeff's Autohaus. I was treated with respect. Ken and his technicians were great! They explained everything without making a face or a sigh of impatience! My car needed a transmission. Ken shopped around to get me the best deal for a re-built. The price he gave me was reasonable by dealership standards. Ken felt bad when he gave me the amount. But, I was relieved! I didn't feel taken advantage of as I have in the past. Ken has a very positive, not phony vibe to him. Also, without me asking for one, they gave me a loner car to use while my car was being repaired. The last time I was in, my headlight was out. I just drove in, Ken made room for me and they took care of it. Ken made sure that their rewards program that I had signed-up for took care of the charge. By the way, it is a great rewards program! I usually don't yelp review, and don't like to write bad reviews for businesses, I called the night before I drop off my car and told him that my car is old and I don't want to spend a the whole lots of money for fix it, I asked him if he can look at my car and see if he can determine what's wrong with it. I drop off my car after closing and I called them the next day around 9:30 am he told me that my battery can't hold charge and it might be my alternator and he need more examination to be sure what is really wrong, so I asked him how much its goanna cost and he said with tax $118n for more examination, then I proceed and asked how much will the cost he said $300, so I told him thank you for all your help, I don't think I'm goanna proceed. I think because I decided to not fix my car and pay for examination he charge me 80$ just for looking at my car battery. absolutely awful! Never go back to them. read more

Truly awful, wish I could give 0 stars. I had an electrical short in my car that was caused by a mistake I made in wiring. I brought the car in with a bunch is stuff done to it including subs, LED bar, grill lights, and a traction control switch and I left with NOTHING working. Yes they found my short after $1,052 but they let me leave with truly nothing working with their only excuse being "we were rushed to get your car back together" They charged me a ridiculous amount and were not working on the car most of them time. I walked back there to check on progress and the mechanic was clocked in on my car talking to ANOTHER mechanic about a DIFFERENT car for 15 mins. They were absolutely not fast with their time and felt the need to go as slow as possible. I cannot believe they charged me $1,052 for a 2 hour job and the fact that after I paid that, I left with nothing working that came in working. read more

They give me clear estimates up front & are spot on or under the price quoted. I get great advice on what repairs are worth while on my oldest car. I went to Autohaus Vic for nearly 20 years, first with a Mercedes and then with my BMW. They were always fair and did a great job of explaining things to me (I don't know a lot about cars). I went in yesterday and discovered that Autohaus Vic is now Jeff's Autohause. Okay, I thought I'd give them a try. I explained that 3 of my dash/idiot lights were staying on. I knew it was probably just a faulty sensor since they have been doing this intermittently for a few months...and now they come on right away when I start the car. The guy I worked with (Bill?) said he thought that I should get a brake inspection and that might reveal the problem. They then calls and said, sure enough, I needed new front breaks. $579! After that work was done they said the dash lights didn't go off but that for $129 more they could spend more time looking for the problem. I just didn't feel comfortable opening my checkbook for them to go on a wild goose chase. From what I was told, it seemed like the odds were good the brake job would fix it. It didn't. Bottom-line I came in with a problem, left with the same problem only $579 poorer. That's not to say I didn't need a brake job - but I'm sure I couldn't have gotten one elsewhere cheaper and I still have the problem I started with. read more
