Let me start off by saying I have never left a review of any business until now. Yet when you…read morereceive such a dishonest service and receive no sense of remorse from the Manager or Shop owner I felt compelled to sign up and submit a review. About 3 weeks ago I was calling around various station to find assistance with mounting 4 tires on my truck. When I spoke with Ike the mechanic on duty he had quoted me $45 per axle. I ask, is this for each wheel and he replied not per axle 2 wheels each. so I booked an appointment to drop off my truck the next morning. When I called later that afternoon for an ETA to pick up they said it would be ready by 5. Unfortunately I could not stop by until after 6pm and they told me that it would not be a problem as someone would be there until 9pm. When I eventually made my way to the Shell station the gentleman working let me know that the bill came to $250. I was shocked and asked this is not correct it should be closer to $110 after tax as I was quoted $45 per axle. He let me know that he could not do anything with the bill, and I was not expecting that he could, so I left very frustrated and began wondering about a bait and switch scam. My wife told me to let it go for the night until you could speak with the manager or owner in the morning as they opened up at 7am. When I called the next day at 7am, Ike answered and after I explained my frustration, he said, he was referring to 45 min per axle, not $45 per axle. I let him know that that is not what he quoted as I would have never dropped off my truck, with this outrageous rates to mount tires. He said that he would talk to the manager and call me back after 8am. When he called back I was informed that they would take off the tire disposal fee of $20 but that is all she was willing to do. At this point I was left with no recourse but to pick up my truck and discuss with the manager in person. When I discussed the bait and switch and dishonesty that has happened I was not offered any sympathy or apology but rather, this is all we can do. Lesson learned after stewing over this crap service and dishonesty is buyer beware at this Shell Station. If you are thinking about getting any service done here don't. If you chose to take the risk, make sure you get a written, signed cost before handing them your keys. Ike is a nice guy but I am certain his hands are tied to the poor ownership and the manager who I suspect is the owner. I drove by today and noticed your store front is boarded up. Looks like you are angering more than just myself. If I could rate you a NO STAR I would. Honesty and Integrity go a long way and this Shell ownership has neither. I hope anyone reading this review stays clear of this Shell Station. Happy New Year and thanks for Nothing.

Fixed my fit and just took my Mercedes in for an oil change and brake problem. They fixed it and found the faulty brake problem for $160 Comes down to trust. Robert is the mechanic and he doesn't overcharge people nor will he screw anyone over. I trust them and send friends. I was referred by my little sister who gave them glowing reviews.

Spoke with Ken, Jeff's Autohaus new store manager…read more Ken apologized for the issues/overall experience I had. He recognized that the inflated pricing for the "recommended services" and the attempt to charge me for the oil pressure light scenario were unacceptable and due to poor managing practices preceding his takeover. While I cannot absolutely ensure that Jeff's service will be different, Ken's apology and explanations were genuine and thoughtful. He spontaneously offered to make himself available to help with any car-related trouble/need I might encounter in the future. I encourage new customers to speak to Ken. I am definitely feeling positively towards Jeff's future business relations under Ken's leadership.

The folks at Jeff's inspected the car and told us that actually the ball joints were fine and nothing needed to be done. They charged us nothing for this service. I told them it may not be the fuse but an integration relay issue which they confirmed upon diagnosis. I also asked for a full inspection of the vehicle and told them do it ONLY if the power door lock and interior light issue is fixed. However, they did not wait and did the full inspection and charged me for it even though the power door lock issue and interior light was not fixed. They refused to give me back the key unless I paid for the full inspection which I unfortunately had to since I had no choice. A very bad experience. I will never trust them with my vehicles again.

Dropped my car of Wednesday night for Thursday service. My car was leaking fluid. Call came…read moreThursday Afternoon that the engine had oil everywhere and would need to be steam cleaned to determine where the leak was coming from. They would clean it Friday and see what they could find. (I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and they did not put the oil filter back in correctly causing oil to go everywhere) Did not get contacted until Monday afternoon and was told the car was not leaking and was ready to be picked up. Picked up my car, spoke to the guy at the front desk who informed me that I needed to drive it for a week and see if it leaks because they could not find a leak and they tightened everything. Drove home parked my car over a puddle, when I came out your could see some sort of fluid floating in the puddle, opened the hood and my engine was dirty, does not look like it was cleaned at all. Called the office and was told the engine had oil everywhere and they only cleaned that, also he told me to drive it for a week and see what happens and that the leak was probably coming from the oil pan that they cleaned. Still leaking after spending $259.00.

I would have thought by now someone would have reached out to me to put the part on my car they charged me for but never received. It's clear that someone at Valvoline is reading these reviews and is not interested in making things right with a formerly loyal customer. I drive by this location frequently and now see something I had never seen before; one of their men on the corner holding a sign that reads "no wait time". I like to think that more consumers are reading these reviews before selecting a place to do business, and that maybe my post here is a warning beacon to all future customers of the absolutely dismal service at this location.
