This is the gas station that I use most often. There are good snacks inside, decent, coffee, and almost never a line for gas.

Attendant overfills tank! According to Google AI:…read more "Overfilling a gas tank by "topping off" after the nozzle clicks can cause expensive damage (up to $1500) to your vehicle's charcoal canister and vapor recovery system, causing poor performance and check engine lights." It causes the filter to be inundated with fluid when it is only supposed to be exposed to vapor. Furthermore this is illegal in the state of Oregon as it causes the excess gas to evaporate causing an environmental hazard. Also I'm not paying $5 a gallon for gas just to evaporate it. This has happened to me twice in a matter of a week or so. The first time I was about to fill my own tank and he kinda got between me and the pump and the vibe was kinda insistent so I was like, whatever and handed him the card and walked in to the store. When I came back out I saw him clicking the pump multiple times to force more gas in. The 2nd time the attendant was nowhere to be found and I was excited because I could pump my own gas and not get overfilled, but when I came back out of the store there he was doing it again. This gas station is directly on my route from my home to the hwy, it is by far the most convenient but now I fear getting gas there as even if I pump my own gas unless I guard the pump I don't know that he won't overfill it. Also, if they are trying to rip me off this is a really stupid way to do so as profit margins on gas are slim, it's the convenience store that makes money and I *would* buy energy drinks from them every day on my way to work (my work involves driving so I buy gas every day) but now I have to go to a less convenient store so we both lose...

Best of all, gas was 50 cents per gallon less than any station nearby! Always a win but more so as prices are back at the $4.89 range for regular. They have a convenience store which is neat, clean and well stocked. Did I mention gas is 40-50 cents less per gallon? That's five stars anyway you cut it.

We started going here when it was previously Kovork's and Kevin was the head mechanic. It was great then too, and has continued the same quality service and reasonable prices since then. The people are very honest and kind, and Kevin absolutely knows his stuff. I have recommended this shop many times over the years and will continue to do so.

The gal who answered the phone asked for some information & had made a comment about how it was the end of her day. Once she ran the quote, she said that based on the type of car & what we were potentially needing that it was "too much labor" "over 5 hours worth" & also stated and I quote "no one is going to want to do this." I politely let her know that was okay & we were happy to do business with another auto shop that was willing to help. I let her know her comment rubbed me the wrong way. She apologized, which I appreciate, but she then justified it by saying she should "know better than to answer the phone so close to closing time" & that she had been at work since 7:30am and was tired. Overall, am disappointed in the experience - I had called based on the good reviews on Yelp/Google. Needless to say, I won't be considering them for any needs in the future since they don't seem to be hurting for business!

We originally had my vehicle towed to Dufresnes because it was close to our house and we thought a small local business with good reviews would take care of us. What started as a $3,500 repair quickly snowballed into an $8,500 repair with "one more issue" popping up every few days. The process moved painfully slow, included delays from wrong parts being received, and took nearly 3 weeks from start to finish. During that time I was given a loaner car that was absolutely disgusting. Stains on the seats, dirt and dust covering every surface, debris everywhere, and an old air freshener literally adhered to the center console. I called the same day because honestly I assumed they would be mortified they handed a customer a vehicle in that condition. Instead I was told, "well it's free." No apology, no concern, nothing. I was also told they were short staffed and someone had broken their leg/foot, and that if I brought it in she would vacuum it herself. I wasn't going to bring a filthy car back and have an older woman vacuum it herself. I ended up cleaning the car myself and moved on because I was just happy to finally get my vehicle back. Then one of the brand new tires they installed went completely flat. I dropped it off for repair and was told they would call me when it was ready. The next morning I saw I had missed a call with no voicemail, so I called and said, "Hi, I dropped my tire off yesterday and I saw I missed a call so I was just checking for an update." Before I could even finish, the woman cut me off to argue that they "ALWAYS leave a voicemail." That wasn't even the point. I simply missed the call and was calling back. When I asked, "Ma'am, can you hear me?" because I thought maybe the phone was cutting out, she snapped, "I'M TALKING, DON'T INTERRUPT ME." She then started talking to me slowly and condescendingly like I was a child. When I arrived at the shop, nobody greeted me. As always, they just stared at me in silence. The woman with red hair walked over and silently held her hand out with no explanation. I handed her the tire lock, but she kept her hand out and expected me to somehow know she also wanted my keys. No "can I grab your keys?" No basic communication whatsoever. When I brought up how rude the phone call was, management immediately became defensive instead of apologizing or taking accountability. They AGAIN kept circling back to how they "always leave a voicemail," completely ignoring the actual issue, which was how disrespectfully I was spoken to. Then they flat out admitted the attitude toward me stemmed from when I called months ago about the condition of the loaner vehicle. So instead of being embarrassed they handed a customer a filthy car, they chose to hold a grudge over it and treat me poorly afterward. I have never experienced this level of hostility, defensiveness, and lack of professionalism from a business charging people thousands of dollars for repairs. The women who work here, including management, are some of the most miserable and unpleasant people I've ever dealt with in a customer service setting. Every interaction is met with defensiveness, attitude, and complete inability to take accountability. I'm sure they'll respond to this review the same way they respond to every negative review -- claiming the customer was "rude" while completely ignoring their own behavior. I did not start out rude. I became frustrated after being repeatedly spoken to with disrespect, condescension, and hostility over very reasonable concerns. If your business cannot handle polite customer feedback without holding grudges against paying customers months later, you should not be working in customer service.

Turned out the car just needed new spark plugs and ignition coils. For that I was charged over $1k! Later through googling I realized typical price for this type of work should range between about $300-400, so they charged me about THREE TIMES the normal cost. I thought a neighborhood shop like this could be trusted to be honest, but I guess its a hard lesson learned.

I am disabled and have a brain Injury and needed help so I could add a car wash. I finally walked up to the kiosk and a young guy eating his Taco Bell said it's self serve when I said I needed help and am disabled. I hope you enjoyed your Taco Bell and I hope your employer talks to you about how to treat customers especially disabled ones, I was discriminated against and should report you to the American for disability and hey buddy not every disability can be seen. 76 just lost a long time customer and I will never come back and write this review everywhere how this place is not accessible to those with disability and it was around 11-1130am so you can know which male was working at the gas, I mean eating Taco Bell and refusing to help a disabled person. Luckily Chevron ended up being cheaper! Final straw to NEVER come back, it's bad enough car washes are $15 and you don't even get a hand dry anymore. My husband can do better and will. I would give a zero if I could. I hope the owner takes this serious because some people would file a complaint or get a lawyer no joke, you're lucky I'm not a crappy human. https://www.ada.gov/file-a-complaint/

Even when we were the most tragic as far as the gas prices go, I was still way less at the pump than most cars since I have had 7 gallon tanks. I still tried to go back and forth between gas points pricing at Fred Meyer and my Costco membership... I refuse to negotiate getting cash to try to save money going to Arco since you then have to deal with going to (AND INTO SINCE CASH WHICH ADDS TO THE FUCK NO) and also dealing with the folks who angrily work and Arco and discover why they are so mad since you also get to deal with the other customers. I then started doing delivery driving so I am not just filling my tank a whole lot more BUT I need to watch my money more and am EVERYWHERE. Of course there are many main streets which I am often on. But I see A LOT of gas stations and notice the price differences which are pretty sizeable. There are certain gas stops which just have better prices. I filled up at what I thought was the lowest (Astro) and five minutes later I drive past Space Age which was nearly ten cents cheaper! SHOCKING... but instead of plugging in Astro first I go for Space Age. I did exactly that this time and then discovered this gas station was so close for so long that I genuinely just found the other day. Even better is that people in Oregon are not used to self serve so they all sit in line waiting for someone to do it for them. Take advantage while you can, like I did and roll right up to a self service pump and then out. Unlike Astro, they have a snack station too. I cannot report on that as I just grabbed some gas.
