Needed gas and needed it quick. Chevron is typically the last place I look for, but the price here wasn't too bad and so it wasn't bad value. My car seemed to respond well to this brand but its not my first choice. While the prices for gas this day weren't terrible, you'll most likely be paying a high price for the quality of gas you get. And evenmoreso, if you're looking for a snacks inside the store, you'll be paying a premium. Your best bet is to stop by the local store. Prices here for any of the food inside the store are high but for the drinks, it's pretty on average. You can get bags of ice, coffee, beer, use the restroom, play the lotto etc. Staff were quick to grab my receipt and to check me out when I came. Wouldn't see they were friendly but more like efficient at their jobs. Its located in a plaza next to a starbucks and other chain stores in the vicinity. Which makes getting in and out of it, not the easiest. read more

Psst, if anyone has Trump "I did this" stickers please come here and use them. Chevron is gouging and playing sick political games. If you want the most expensive gas in town and to be price gouged with a side of bullshit, Chevron is the place to be. Blaming Sacramento and playing political games at the pump when it's Trump's fault gas is so expensive is what urged me to write this review. It's a gas station, it does the job. I'd give it five stars if it didn't charge more than everyone else by a big factor and staid out of politics. Much less lies. (It's highly inappropriate to be blaming Sacramento for gas taxes we voted for that pay for our roads when their price gouging and the war their candidate started is the reason for the cost.) There's no reason to shop at this place really. They rip people off big time! Be careful! Perfect example I went to buy some Visine there for my eyes. I think it was $7.99 compared to next-door. It was $2.99.. tonight I went to get some ice they charge $5.99 for 7 pound bag of ice down the street. You can get a 25 pound bag of ice for $4.99! I'm not giving them any more business! The staff is very welcoming and helpful as well as friendly. I enjoy just going to this place simply because of the way they make me feel as soon as I walk in this place. One day my car battery died and they even let me leave my car parked till the next morning so my insurance can take my car to my shop, other places would've towed it im sure. read more

This is a decent gas station in a busy plaza with Starbucks, McDonalds, Vons, Pressed Juicery, and Rubios. It is convenient they have a drive through car wash. Cheapest car wash is $9 a pop. If you plan on coming weekly, or more than 2 times a month, there is an option for a monthly car wash plan for $19 a month. There are different prices depending on what your needs are. Cool that they offer it. Overall, no issues with this place but wish they refilled the water and replaced the squeegees more often. read more

This Chevron is well lit and has lots of big pumps to get gas. The store has lots of extra food items and if you need some quick groceries in a pinch, they have milk, bread, bananas, eggs and more. It's a clean store. The access to the station is limited and exiting out of the mall is only one main way. Therefore, if you need to get back onto Scripps Poway Parkway, it will take a couple u turns before your on the thoroughfare. Prices are very high here and only get gas with rewards if you must. Otherwise, Go a few blocks north and go to Poway road for much cheaper prices on gas. read more

Chevron has good quality gas and you pay extra for it... The last two times I've been here to pump they were having issues with their computer systems... I ended up going to Costco a few blocks up. Nice Chevron with an Exrta Mile mini market. I stopped in to pick up a few items, including a 16 oz cup of coffee, a lotto ticket, and a small pack of white powdered mini doughnuts. I do like this minis with my coffee. The coffee was Seattle's Best, which is good coffee, but I think they need to be careful when they brew their coffees, given it was a little bitter. I choose a medium roast and it taste good other that slight harshness towards the end. The coffee island was well stocked and organized. The mini doughnut, an off brand, were $1 and some change. As a whole, the store was pretty clean, especially the floors and the customer service friendly enough, but could of been friendlier. I did not fill up on gas, given I did not need any, but their prices were higher than most other stations in the area. read more

Easy access with plenty of room for large vehicles and trailers. Diesel. Pre filled propane bottle exchange. ATM, Lotto, cigarettes, soft drink fountain as well as bottled drinks. Bagged ice, coffee, beer and public restrooms. EBT accepted. This Chevron station is well kept and the bathrooms are very well maintained. My opinion is the the gas is overpriced! I am giving a four instead a five due to the high gas prices; everything else rocks. read more

My trip here tonight wasn't a good one. I wanted some snacks and as I went to grab a beer he said they don't sell alcohol after ten. I went to ask I thought California law was till 2am or something, but I was cut off by this isn't California law it's Chevron. Am-Pm for now on when I'm craving snacks. read more

Free air and free water here! That's the primary reason why I go. You can't exit easily from this gas station, however. You can only enter from one road and exit from the cross street... this forces you to do a u-turn to get back on the road you entered from. That's annoying. The prices here are decent. Generally speaking Chevron costs a bit more, but I always only use Chevron because of the additives in the gas that keep your engine clean. I have tried other brands and have heard pinging and knocking, them switching back to Chevron it goes away. I've had multiple automotive techs tell me the same thing too. Say what you want, but it's just better gas in my experience. The convenience store here is standard fare, and the service is always pretty good. I've never had any issues here, and I appreciate that everything is kept relatively clean for a gas station. read more

Clean store interior, with lots of variety for food and drinks. Free air for tires too. Gas here is a little more expensive than the other stations around the area. Maybe because of the convenience? There's nothing special or extraordinary about this gas station, except that it is located close to my house. But convenience sometimes comes at a high price and this Chevron definitely sells gas at a higher price than many other stations around. I always enter my Vons Club Card number prior to purchase and most of the time it brings the price down 10 to 20 cents, which makes it less painful to fill up the tank. The mini market has a good selection of drinks and snack and the interior is nice and clean. read more

I arrived at this location around 11:45 PM. I walked up to the window and was blatantly ignored by the attendant. I understand closing time is at midnight but I have never, in my 3 years of driving Uber, have had a gas station employee ignore me in such a way. If he didn't notice me then you have someone working there that is oblivious to a car driving in and a person walking up to the window but I doubt that was the case. I saw the individual counting coins but I don't believe that is a reason to "close up shop" 15 minutes early and ignore a cash customer. It's conveniently located to my house. The pumps always work. And we only put Chevron gas in our cars. I have nothing to complain about this location. When you're coming down Pomerado, moving south to north, be sure you turn left before you get to Scripps Poway Parkway. There is a light that you can turn left at. Go through the stripmall. Chevron is near the Carl's Jr. In addition to getting fuel here, I've grabbed many a drink and snack at this location. The convenience store is very clean. The service is fine. At the corner of Pomerado Rd and Scripps Poway Pkwy. It's an awkward location because it could be hard to get in, and/or get out, especially if trying to get back onto Scripps Poway Pkwy. Very clean and bright location, large convenience store, and you can use your credit card to pay at the pump. Type in your Vons phone # to get 20 cents off per gallon (assuming you have enough Vons points). read more

My favorite gas station, the staff here are as friendly as you can find. There's basically two gas stations up in Scripps Poway with higher quality gas (Mobil & Chevron). My car has a ecu mod so Chevron is the only gas that doesn't throw off a check engine light. The Mobil gas throws a check engine code every once in awhile, so I just stick with Chevron. There's a brother that started working here recently that is probably the nicest guy I've met in a gas station. There actually all pretty nice and would bend over backwards to help you here. read more

UPDATE: Prices are 50 Cents a gallon more expensive than other local stations! Check your prices. I don't understand why their gas prices are so high. For example, diesel is alway ... And I mean always at least 12 cents higher than the other gas stations. Drive less than a mile north on Pomerado Road to save your cash. This gas station is out close to my work and it is really the only one out there off of Pomerado/Scripps Poway Parkway. It is an awkward location to get in and out of because of one way signs but to make matters worse, I went there on 2 separate occassions and I used my atm debit card. The gas pump said unable to authorize-see cashier. My card had plenty of money on it and when I went inside to talk to the cashier about it, he said well it must be your card. I called my bank to see what was going on and they said nothing was wrong with my card. I went outside and went to a different pump as I really needed gas and used the same card so it was clearly the pump that had the issue! The worst part is that I was charged twice, once from the original pump for almost $49 on gas that I did not even get! I have no idea where this amount even came from and another $35 from the 2nd pump. This has happened now! The people working inside are ignorant and have no clue what is going on and rude! They always have issues with the pumps and I will NEVER go there again. I would highly recommend NOT going here and if you have to, use cash and not your atm/credit card. read more
