Circle K: Where Common Sense Goes to Die It's absolutely ridiculous that at 50 years old, I'm still getting carded at Circle K because corporate doesn't trust their own employees to make a simple judgment call. I'm not flattered -- I'm insulted. This isn't about following the law; it's about blind, lazy policy-making from a company that would rather treat everyone like a teenager than empower their staff to use basic human logic. The worst part? Watching an elderly woman with a walker get turned away because she didn't have her ID. She had to walk all the way back to her car empty-handed while the clerk apologized with their hands tied. That's not safety -- that's corporate cowardice hiding behind a policy and calling it "compliance." Circle K, your refusal to trust your own employees creates embarrassing, even dehumanizing experiences for your customers. It's pathetic. Grow up and fix it. read more

This is the local stop around the corner from my office at work. The staff is all super friendly and literally having fun at work. Which is a big change for a convenience store of any kind which goes to show why they get 5 stars. They have everything from healthy snacks to chonky snacks. Coffee, and drinks. Hands down THE BEST ICE ON THE PLANET! Sonic has lost its crown to Circle K and their ice! Staff isn't pushy at all but will always inform you if the product you're buying is on sale if you buy more than one. They have gas pumps & clean restrooms. 2 weeks in a row I stopped in for gas and had to play gas pump trivia, meaning which one is working. They can't even put a sign on the pump saying it's out of order so people don't have to get out of their car and finding out after all that needs to be done prior to pumping. This last time, 5 cars were outside scratching their heads not knowing what's going on as the attendant inside is checking his emails. No more. read more

I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the people they hire here, is outstanding! Early in the mornings, I get to see Kim or MJ, both who are extremely helpful and always very polite and sweet! In the evenings and afternoons, I usually get to see Suran or Anthony usually, and they both make me smile, know me by my first name, and make me feel welcome every time I come in. It may be trivial to some, but I enjoy the very personalized experience I get at places that is so much traffic, it's very rare for an employee to know you by name. What can I say. The best Circle K I have ever been to, cleanliness, fully stocked, spaciousness, customer service well done. Shout out to Megan who took care of me and my coffee, seems like the only thing this place missing is iced cold Pumpkin Spice Latte, they're only available in the hot section. Megan has a very unique appearance, not sure if she was a little tired tonight due to her lack of sleeping, but it was fun talking to her and telling her she did a great job. Great place to make a pit stop. Cheap gas, snacks and drinks. Very good prices on fountain drinks and fresh coffee. Very clean and this place is well stocked on just about everything. Gas is also very cheap relative to the rest of San Diego. Give Sarun (apologies if I misspelled his name) a raise. Sarun is head and shoulders above what a store clerk should be. Very personable dude with a great attitude. Does his job well. This place is lucky to have him. Five stars all around. read more
