Never thought I'd be writing a review for a gas station but I'm glad that I am. I went in this past weekend to vacuum the inside of my car while it was super hot out so I was trying to get it done quick. In doing so, I left my keys in the ignition (car was off thankfully) and locked myself out. The two attendants took notice and walked over to the vacuum station to offer their help. They had the tools necessary to crank open the door so they willingly and gladly helped a brotha out! I was really taken back by their attentiveness and great customer service. The car wash & customer service is the worst! During my car wash the jets were set so strong on the passenger side that water was forced into my vehicle both front and back. I went inside to inform the clerk, and this person tells me "this is normal"! Never have I been through a car wash has my interior been soaked. So I asked for the owners number, after the 3 clerks rudely discussed it in a different language, he finally gave me the number. Never offering a refund or the wipe the water out of my car. Keep your receipt! I usually say "no" when asked whether I want a receipt or not. Bad idea. They overcharged me on March 13, 2015 by over $20. A charge of $65.76 instead of $42 showed up on my account. The tank in my car cannot even hold 21 gallons. I filed a dispute with my credit card but this hassle shouldn't be necessary. I go here near everyday sometimes multiple times a day. It's in a great location for me but it also has a large Chevron store which has the basics and also random stuff that you would think you wouldn't see at a gas station. It's never too busy to get gas even at prime hours. read more

The guys working here are always consistently friendly and helpful. I don't know how people have left reviews mentioning poor customer service. I interact with different employees here, at different times of the day, and I assume they don't recognize me. So every time I come in I'm a "new" customer to them and they're always remarkably helpful and friendly. I even asked one of the employees why they stopped carrying a particular flavored Rockstar. He said he would start carrying it again, which he did a couple days later. When they ring me up, I've often had another cashier help by offering me a bag while the primary cashier finished ringing me up. They have a good car wash, with 2 TVs streaming multiple video feeds and audio inside the car wash (so that the cashier can stop the car wash if anything goes wrong?). They seem to have a very high level of commitment here. Definitely not a half-ass operation. The line is always very long for the car wash, so plan to spend 45 minutes in line. They only give you $1 off the car wash if you're filling up on gas. I've seen some gas stations give you a 10-cent per gallon discount if you buy the car wash, which would be preferable if you're getting over 30 gallons like me. Getting into this Chevron is sometimes very difficult with traffic and general accessibility, but that isn't the Chevron's fault. There's only one way in and out of the entire business center (Lowe's, Staples, City Fitness) so expect bizarre parking lot traffic jams and lines on the road that serve these businesses. On event days at Avaya stadium, this place is almost impossible to access unless you plan on going to the event. Seriously why did they build this business plaza with one access point, shared with a major sporting venue? You might be asking why I would write such a long review of a gas station, but you' also have a lot of free time in the car wash line here. I went to wash my car there, and the car wash machine sprayed a little bit of water and dried my car. I didn't pay $10.00 for a rinse! I asked for my money back, and they refused. Best gas price for Chevron and located very close to SJC. The price is much lower than Chevron on San Jose and Santa Clara. Located on Coleman and off 880 which is convenient. The water for washing your wiper is always clean and plenty of gas pump outlet. Busy but you can always get a spot and don't have to wait. I use my Safeway points to save $0.20 at Chevron. read more

It shouldn't take this long to get your car washed. I waited 40 minutes with only five cars ahead of me. I prefer the carwashes where an attendant pre washes your car, you pay them, and they guide you into the wash and you kind of "conveyer belt" through. Rude!!!! It sucks that this is the closest gas station to my work. I always get glared at, and they never seem to be able to keep the line moving. This is the new Chevron station across from the SJ airport next to Lowe's. Stay away from the car wash! Despite choosing a "light touch" on the selection pad, I got a car wash that felt like a 9.0 earthquake inside the car. And when the wash was finished, the car was still dirty on the hood, not thoroughly dried, and there were SCRATCHES in the paint. After talking to the cashier, the manager, and finally the owner, it was clear they weren't interested in helping me about my damage. The owner said that 95,000 cars had been through the car wash and I was only the second person to complain. I now have one scratch on the hood, one several feet long on the side of the car, and some on the windshield. The car had a perfect finish before going into this car wash and the owner seemed to think I was trying to scam him because I complained. read more

Extremely poor customer service bordering on rude. On Tuesday 11/28 at approximately 2pm, I asked cashier to turn on the air for my tires after purchasing a tank of gas. The cashier said he would turn it on but never did. I went back inside and asked why he didn't turn it on. He just said he would do it. Again, did not turn it on.
