Just went in to get a car wash and when it was time to dry my car the dryer was on for only 5 seconds. I went in to tell the employee and he told me to reverse back in and it'll work. I told him there's a car he said it's ok u go in backwards. So I did and once I went in it was the other cars drying turn. Waste of money employee job knowledge at zero and terrible customer service. Don't waste your time coming here. The owner of this place needs to teach the employee how to handle situations. read more

CAR WASH CUSTOMERS BEWARE. Today 10/28 I went in and purchased a $10 Car Wash. The teller took the $10 but never actually processed the transaction on the register. Instead he set the money aside and reached to the right of the register and pulled a receipt out of the stack that was sitting there. I thought this was odd but figured there were some problems making Car Wash transactions and they pre printed a bunch of vouchers. The teller went on to circle the code and provided me with a receipt and off I went. By the time I got back to my car there were 6 cars in line and the receipt had an expiration date in November for the car wash so I decided to go back at a later time or date. After about 30 minutes I was in the area again and decided to wait it out. I waited in the Car Wash line for about 20 to 30 minutes and during this time the Teller went out twice to the Car Wash kiosk where he talked to the drivers and did something at the kiosk. Not sure exactly what happened but I think the drivers encountered the same problem I did. Finally my turn, I pull up to the kiosk and punch in the code...Not a valid code...hmm...i try a 2nd and 3rd time without luck. I press the Attendant/Help button and hold it without response and I continue to enter the code several times still without any luck. With 7 cars behind me and I'm sure drivers as frustrated as I was, I pulled out a 10$ and proceeded to pay AGAIN for the car wash at the kiosk. After the wash was complete, I parked my car and went inside. There was a different teller. I told him he needed to give me a refund because the code they provided me was invalid. He asked me when i purchased it and I told him no more than an hour ago. Reluctant to give me a refund, I started to raise my voice and demanded he give me a refund. I then told him what they were doing was fraud. I told the Teller that his colleague was saving the receipts from unsuspecting customers who pump enough gas to get a free car wash and they set the receipts with a car wash code to the side. I proceeded to point at the stack of receipts they had saved next to the register. By this time the first teller who sold me the car wash came out from the backroom. I then demanded my money back and they were both reluctant and speaking to each other in their native language. I used the customers behind me as an example of the fraud they were committing and I told them to pull the footage from their security camera and that i was going to call the police. As soon as I said that, the Teller opened the cash register and practically threw the money at me. The teller tried to tell me that I should have gone inside the store and discussed it with them first before paying again at the kiosk and my response was I don't believe I should be inconvenienced for the fraudulent activities they are committing and I was not going to wait in line another half hour. Beware. If you pay for a car wash there, make sure you get a time stamped receipt of YOUR TRANSACTION AND NOT SOMEONE ELSES. read more

This place suuuuuuuuuuuucks! I've always had issues with this station and I keep telling myself not to go back, but I do! I'm such a sucker! It's just so convenient and I prefer chevron over any other brand, but the service is horrible! I had issues with my debit card so I had to go inside and the guy was super rude and didn't want to run my card again. Another time I ha an issue with my Von's card and the same thing! The guy refused to help! Many times I had issues with my card because my banking institution kept blocking it because they said this place was a high risk facility because there have been many fraud cases at this site so that's been frustrating. Anyhow. Today, I went in because the air compressor thingamajig was cut off and I hadn't noticed before I put in the money and I went to talk to the attendant and he gave me the "I don't care" look when I told him that I wanted to know if I could get my money back. Ok- so it was only $0.75 but it was the principal behind it! They should inspect their equipment and put up a sign saying it's out of order. And I KNOW I should have caught it too but I had just come from the gym and all I could think of was getting air in my tire!!! Anyhow.... I asked the attendant for a refund and he said no. He was not the guy who gives money. I asked ok, who does and he said the guy tomorrow. So I specifically asked who as I don't want to keep getting pushed around and he said I don't know, whoever woks tomorrow in the day. I would think he would know his coworkers name. So I asked for his and he said, "why do you need my name?" And I told him that when I talk to the day guy that I am tell him that he referred me to come in the day to get my $. The guy refused to but I got it out of his name tag-duh. His name is zahid. And he was just rude and have me dirty looks and was so apathetic. I'm so disappointed. From now on, I'm going to the 76 down the street. Same prices but better service. It's worth no getting the Von's rewards as long as I'm treated with dignity and respect. Boo to you guys!!!! I have been to this station several times and will never go there again. I've run into several problems and the guys behind the counter are rude, unhelpful and downright hostile. I tried to use my Von's card to get the 20 cent discount. The card wasn't working at the pump and inside, the guy refused to even try to run it. I asked him his name and he said "Kahn." When I asked for his full name he said (I wrote it down, so I know his exact words) "I cannot tel you any name. Just get out from here. You're bothering me." I went to a Chevron in my barrio neighborhood, the Vons card didn't work at the pump, and inside the clerk just ran it himself. No problem. Those people at the 9055 Sunland Blvd. don't deserve any customers. Similar problems in years past, but I never bothered to write about them. read more

Let me say that I came to get gas and 3 pumps weren't working. I went into the store because the pump wasn't working with the last one I stopped my car at. I go in and I mention to ZAHURIL (I believe it spelled it right) and he ignored me how I was next in line and rung some man up. I am in there alone and I then ask him "I can give you my Vons number" and he said after he rings me up. BS. They always take the loyalty number before hand. Went into this gas station this evening to make a purchase and was treated horribly by the individual working at the counter. It's one thing if you barely want to acknowledge a customer at the counter but to be rude and raise your voice at one because they're taking more than 3 seconds to make a decision on what to buy is unacceptable. This is the only gas station I fill up at as it's near my house but now that I know the employees need an attitude adjustment, I'll be going elsewhere. I wish I could give zero stars, this place is literally horrible. The staff are extremely rude and I've seen on multiple occasions the staff either yelling or getting into arguments with customers. I greet the cashier with a smile and a good morning every time I enter to pay for gas or grab a drink and I've never gotten any response back....ever. They sit at the register on their phones and pretend you aren't even there, ontop of that the gas bumps barely work. I say barely because one pump pumps the gas at like 1 gallon a minute and another pump spills gas everytime I use it and another pump says see cashier and it's been that way for as long as I can remember it. This was not just one or 2 bad experiences, it's a bad experience every single week seeing how I work down the street this place is just convenient but it sucks. Next time I go I will grab the worker's name that I've seen yelling at customers on many occasions and I will edit this review and add his name in so hopefully a person in charge can do something about him. Overall this place is a dump and I would recommend to stay far far far away from this gas station. I live close to this gas station and sometimes have no choice but to use it. It's one of the worst gas stations. I always have problems with the pumps when using a card and have to go inside to pay. It's been years that it's been happening too. Everything inside is expensive and the workers are always rude. Complete a--holes. The car wash damaged my truck. When I approached them about it right off the bat they said no way it could have happened. Impossible !! After seeing it on video they still say it's not their fault. Funny thing is that within an hour of my truck being damaged they shut down the car wash for days trying to repair the broken brush. I agree with the other reviews that the employees are rude here. I asked to use the restroom once (while I was filling up) and they told me "We don't have bathrooms." The next time I was there, I saw them giving the bathroom key to a customer. Anyway, yesterday I was annoyed at this place because I REALLY needed to clean my windshield while I was there. I noticed all of the windshield cleaners were missing except for one, and it was all torn up and broken. There was this guy there who was cleaning people's windshields for them. I think he was just a random dude trying to make some money. I am thinking he must have gotten rid of all the windshield cleaners so that if you want your windows cleaned, you have to ask him (and pay him). I was really surprised and mad that the employees were allowing this to take place. Part of the cost of my gas is the option to wipe my windshield down. Now if I want that done there, I have to pay someone to do it because he has hijacked all of the supplies? read more

I wish I could zero stars. I've been going to this gas station for 6 years for quick drive through car washes, not the best but it would get the job done. However, today the car wash stopped working in the middle of the wash, the person in front of me driving their car reversed 2 to 3 times and tripped the system. This caused the car wash to stop in the middle of my wash, therefore without my car being clean or dry I got out and went to see the attendant inside the gas station, I told him what had happened and asked what can be done. He then told me "why do you use it if you don't know how to work The car wash?" I replied sir I have been to this car wash over 20 times I know how to use the car wash. I then politely asked can I please get a refund or another car wash since my car is not clean and it's still wet. The attendant stated "no it's your fault." I was late for a meeting and really need my car washed so I ended up paying another eight dollars for a second wash. The carwash sucks. My truck came out with bugs still stuck to my windshield, was still half wet, and also still dirty in spots. Plus, they don't let you finish before the machine allows another person to pull in. So, as my truck was in the "drying" stage, the car behind me was in the water stage. Talk about counter productive. What a waste of $10. I thought it would be convenient since regular carwashes close at 5 or 6 but apparently not. I got my car washed here. I've done so a few times before, but this time the dryer mechanism fired off before the wash was done. It was not available when I the wash cycle finished. I went to the clerk to get this addressed. His name tag stated he was "Khan". He was dismissive and stated that the car wash was automatic and there was nothing wrong with it. It took me about 20mins to get him to send someone to help me. By this time, my car had dried and was covered with spots and, frankly, looked worse than when I started. I suggested letting me run through again, he refused. I asked for a refund, I was refused. His exact response was "Why should I give you a refund if you made the mistake." I filed a complaint with Chevron, I was referred back to the local store which is a franchise. It cost $10 and isn't worth the trouble chasing up a refund. But it is clear that he was right, I did make a mistake in ever using a service at his store. I bought a car wash, and ended up with my car looking worse than when I had arrived and had to get my car washed at another establishment. This was a few days ago. I see that there is at least one other customer that left a review regarding the exact same issue, also with the clerk blaming the customer rather than addressing the service. Stay far away. The worst experience ever when trying to redeem a winning $2 lottery ticket. $2!!!! The clerk I think was Mizan. Not sure, but this is the 2nd time he has done this to me. He almost threw my ticket at me because I didn't scratch off the barcode. Now I don't know if we are supposed to scratch the barcode when redeeming or do we just do it as a courtesy to the clerk. Anyways he refused to scratch it. He wanted me to give him a coin to scratch it. I told him as far as I know the instructions say for the buyer to scratch off the play area. Unless I'm missing something I don't think it says anything about scratching the barcode. He made a big issue out of it. I felt like I was such an inconvenience. But wait was he not working to be of assistance to the customers. I wouldn't have mind scratching off the barcode, but come on. He had no customers and he was leaning on the counter. I felt like I was chastised. Now I worked in retail for over 12 years in management and I never ever treated anyone like that and my employees did not.
