Vreat service. I came ain't ate solo with my baby. I had the build your combo (crunchy chicken taco, chicken enchilad, and chicken flautas. Yummy food. Nice attentive server. Wish they had Coke products, not a Pepsi fan.

    Sunday brunch $39.50

UGH I have never been so angry over spending this much for a meal. My BFF and I were cruising Roseville for a lunch place and I saw the sign for All You Can Eat Sunday Brunch and decided to try it out since Mexican was on our list. It was 1:10 and they closed it at 2pm. I asked the host how much and she says, "$39.50." Ouch I say and she says, "Yeah its expensive, I'm not gonna lie." I peek over at the display and it looked like there was a lot so we said okay. I was craving their infamous chips and salsa and homemade flour tortillas so I thought it can't be that bad except you get NONE of that! so I ask about getting some chips n salsa and she tells me that it only comes with ordering an entree! WTF? They had it set up in iron cast skillets on flaming bricks, not the old fashioned steam tables which looked nice. Since it was brunch there was bacon and sausage but it was dry and crusty like it had been sitting all day. There was an omelette station that nobody went to during our stay and the guy was so bored that he just kept playing with the eggs in the bowl making a cyclone so didn't feel good about eating that. According to the pamphlet there was suppose to be a taco bar and a salad bar. I saw a thing of hard tostada shells and ceviche, some lettuce and watery salsa. There was two meat things I liked but NOTHING is labeled so I could not tell you what that was. The rice and beans were dry and bland. Generally it was all mediocre at best to just awful. We both had two very shallow plates of food and really lost our appetite. Usually you try to eat your moneys worth but we just couldn't stomach doing it. There was tea, juice, and some other drink but no ice. We waited for 20 minutes because the waiter ignored us after I asked if we could get drinks. I had to ask the host that sat us to get our drinks. He finally came later but it was all too late by that point. He left the pile of dirty dishes in front of us until the second pass. The flan and the jello was warm and almost liquid because it sat out on the table with no cold underneath it. It was gross. Then our bill came. There is a 5% surcharge. I completely forgot that THIS Chevys location charges this that is not a tip or tax. It is to offset labor and operations cost. You should build this into the price! so absurd. Our meal for 2 was $100 and there was no extras added like alcohol or apps!!! Beside the poor service, This was the WORST meal I have ever had for the money spent. I am so angry I gave them my business. I could have gone to Taco Bell and been more satisfied for less or Much more satisfied for the same money anywhere! I will not be be back, ever. My last review was 2017. I can see why now.

At the table we were given chips and salsa. The chips weren't as good as they used to be, but I still enjoyed them. My bf and I shared the 3 item combo and went with the crispy chicken flautas, enchilada, and chile relleno. It also came with rice and beans. It was a big portion even for the two of us. Everything was salty though and I'm not sure I had a favorite. The waiter was efficient, but I felt he was a bit sarcastic. For example, we stated we needed a minute to decide. He came back later and told us it's been 3 minutes... The store manager seemed friendly when he walked around and talked to guests. It's nice to see they have different specials. For example, $2.99 Margaritas Mondays. I used to love their happy hour (M-F 3pm-7pm). It's not enough to entice me to return though.

Monday is Margarita day! $2.99 is a heck of a deal!

I've missed Chevy's since they closed the Glendale, AZ location over at least a decade ago. Having graduated Sacramento State to long ago to mention, I was back in Roseville, CA. I couldn't wait to get! It's still the crown jewel it's always been. It was like walking back in time. The atmosphere is the same it's always been! The food was amazing! If you've been there, the chips are thin and can be eaten alone. However, the salsa is one of the best around. Their beef fajitas. The beef was tender as always. Chevy's is so good, I plan on eating there at least one more time before I leave. My only regret is that don't have one near me! Please open again in my town!

My family and I had a great experience at Chevys, and Brian Q. was a big reason why! He was friendly, genuine, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. The service was exceptional. He was attentive without hovering, kept everything moving smoothly, and had such a positive attitude that it honestly made our whole meal more enjoyable. You can tell Brian truly cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. Great service can make all the difference, and he absolutely made our experience. We'll definitely be back, and if possible, we'll be asking for Brian again. Thanks for making our visit such a great one!

Honest dine in review: Grateful for the patience of the staff with a cranky baby, but definitely room for potential. 4/5 -Carne asada fries: 5/5 I am not a melted cheese sauce on asada fries but this dish might have changed my mind.... Melted in the bottom of the dish's you're met with crispy fries and a mix of carne asada that's well seasoned, perfect l gel of acidity to seasoning, veggies , sour cream, and melted cheese with a good cheese pull over the top. Perfection in flavor profile and just a great appetizer. This is amazing! -Tacos vampiros: 3.5/5 A hard judge of characteristics, but the tacos would be much better on a corn tortilla rather than flour and the flavor was good, but the flour tortilla seemed to throw things off with this dish. Guac, good! Great neutral texture but needed a little more salt, beans were good, and so was the rice, but knowing tacos, order this as a corn tortilla, not the flour. Thankful for the staffs patience as we had an upset baby, and just the great customer service. One comment would be to order your kids food first before you order yours so they can bring it out first, and then you can enjoy your food.

Oh my gosh; it's been years since I've visited Chevy's. We decided to take my son and new daughter-in-law out to dinner and wanted Mexican food. Now I realize Chevy's isn't authentic, but from what we could remember it wasn't bad, and since the newest member of the family isn't really accustomed to real Mexican food we thought we would give it a try. Walking in it was just like walking into Chevy's in 1999. Same decor, probably even the same menu. We were seated promptly. Received plenty of chips and salsa. They only serve a mild salsa, nothing even medium, never mind hot. We ordered a variety of different dishes. Everyone was okay with what they ordered. Meals were accurate for the most part. I think we got our fill of Chevy's for a while. Won't be back soon, but we'll probably be back sometime in the future.

Mexican Pizza is on their lunch menu and absolutely fantastic!! Drool, I ate the entire big pizza myself!

What a great location, we stopped by to exchange belated Christmas gifts with the in-laws and had a great time! We started out with Fruit Punch, Strawberry Lemonade and a Virgin Piña Colada. My family enjoyed their drinks, my piña colada was more of a slushie, but my kids were obsessed with it lol! Lunch time! We ordered the Mexican Pizza, Kids Pizza w/ Pepperoni and Rice, Kids Build-Your-Own- Taco w/ Chicken and Fruit Side and Mix & Match Steak Quesadilla w/ Southwest Cobb Salad. Great meal served with chips and salsa and service to match! Since 1986 Chevys Fresh Mex has been a family restaurant, now with several locations including Roseville and Sacramento! One of my favorite birthday memories as a child was receiving a big sombrero hat and playing with dough balls with my friends! Join their Xperience Rewards program, this visit I scored a free birthday entree and my next visit will be free guacamole! May just make this a tradition! SYOY! :D

Love chevys . I know people dislike chain restaurants but I haven't been let down yet. Had a margarita, the vampiro tacos steak are delicious. Also, they offer buffet on the weekend. You can get a margarita flight here as well. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards and you get any entree of your choice

Are you kidding me? This is literally a $16 meal to go. Why did they even bother with the wilted brown lettuce on the bottom? Horrible!!
    Fondaffection B.

This is horrible! $16.00??!!!!! Take out. Why bother with the wilted brown lettuce???? I'm shocked how bad this is!!! Do they not know what the menu picture looks like???!! Come on Chevy's. Definitely not Fresh Mex!

Came for happy hour got the chicken nachos and a beer from the bar. Server seemed stressed running around, basically neglecting our table. The nacho portion was very small (what do you expect for $6) i think they are trying to have cheap happy and it shows with the quality of the food and small portions. Service 2/5 food quality 3/5 will not be coming back here. Very poor layout and bad aesthetic dead vibes in this restaurant.

    Corn Chowder
    TJ S.

This new Corn Chowder that Chevys is releasing tomorrow is outstanding. It's spicy without being overpowering, rich without being cloying (my guess would be either poblano with the seeds or Anaheim without) and just bitter enough to make for a well rounded dish. Normally I just get the chicken tostada salad, but now I'm going to have to reconsider.

Our receipt on 5/16/26. SURCHARGE: $2.26 for COVID!!!!

WAKE UP EVERYONE!!!!! On May 16,2026 we went to chevys for dinner. The food was good and the service was good as well the server was attentive and friendly. My issue with this place is the SURCHARGE!!!! I wish people would read and question their bill before placing their credit card and walking out. I noticed a surcharge on our bill and asked our server. He politely said he was fairly new and did not know. He said I'll get someone to come explain it to you ok. Awesome! Some other employee came back and gave me the Lamest excuse!! She said,"That SURCHARGE was placed during COVID and they just haven't taken it off. We are waiting for them to take it off but we are not sure when that will happen!" She then proceeded to walk away!!! Without taking it off?? WTH, COVID WAS 6 YEARS AGO! It is now 2026. So for 6 years, this restaurant "CHEVYS" has been taking $2.23 cents from every customer!!! THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE!! Not a bad scam, for 6 years. I'd love to know the total they have taken in since then. Wake up everyone. COVID IS OVER. COME ON CHEVYS, DO BETTER. If you want to continue having customers and having a successful business. Treat your customers with respect and change your ways. Reminder: please check your bills before paying, because that surcharge does not go to the employee's or as server tips. That goes straight into the owners pocket. For what. Doing nothing, to earn it. CHEVYS at least be honest and put on your receipts what the surcharge is for, but you don't so no one will notice. The one star is based on the AKA: managers response and refusal to remove it!!

We enjoyed: - pomegranate martini: light and fruity, good pomegranate flavor - yuzu lime drop: seasonal for summer only! - the First Lady: strong but smooth; came with a nicely cut ice cube - whiskey sour: classic flavor, executed well The drinks were great but I really wish there was some sort of snack to munch on. The people who run Waymaker Brewing in Roseville are doing this at the highest level. I've been to this location a few times for different events and every time a wonderful time was had. So as far as the beers go they have around 40 different beers on tap and also they have 10 wines on tap as well. So exactly how it works is this- When you walk in you give them a credit/debit card-then they give you a wristband-next you grab a glass and go pick your beer or wine and you get charged by the ounce you actually pour rather than by the glass size. Then at the end of the visit, you turn in your wristbands and you get charged whatever it is you poured in total for the visit-I love the entire concept. It's a great way to be able to try many types of beer instead of just a few big beers. Now let's talk about the elephant in the room for Waymaker. The thing that makes this place unique is they have 6 golf simulators a person can rent depending on day and time anywhere from $35-$60 an hour and up to 6 people can play on the simulator at one time. On these simulators there are more than 200 virtual courses available. It's a crazy amount of fun for golfers of all skill levels There is also a hand roll sushi bar inside called Fire Fish where one can order sushi-hand rolls-flatbreads or various small plates. It really is an amazing place. They also have a massive big screen in the back that is furnished with comfortable couches and chairs in case one wants to just hangout and watch whatever live sporting event is happening that visit. Let's see my last few visits I've gone with my son and we played a round of golf at Pebble Beach on the simulator. I've gone to a birthday party for my boss and we had 2 simulators rented and we ate sushi rolls and flatbread while drinking a lot of beer. I've gone to do after work drinks with a friend while watching NBA playoff basketball. Visits to Waymaker can be so many things but I can say for sure every visit will be fun. So if you find yourself out in Roseville and want to try something a little different-head on out to Waymaker Brewing, it really is a great time. PS. Parking is a breeze as they share a big lot with lots of spaces with other businesses.

I came in and the place was quiet I sat down at the bar and asked if it was OK. The host even came over and gave me a food menu. I was ready to order within seconds of arriving. However! The bartender decided to not talk to me for 15 minutes at least. I watched him slowly make somebody else's drink, leave the bar and just go chitchat with people that were already there drinking beer and having food and then disappearing into the kitchen. So rude. I will not be giving my money back to this place monk cellar again. I truly hope people read this review.

You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This place doesn't have the best hours but I'm sure there is a reason for these hours-M-F the hours are 5p-10p and on weekends they open at 12p... In closing-If you ever find yourself in the Rocklin area and you get a yearning to try out your pinball machine skills-I couldn't recommend this spot any higher as they are a very unique spot offering a truly awesome experience-a trip down memory lane for some and a whole new world for the younger generation-You should get out there and have some fun. PS-I failed to mention this place is very family friendly-on my particular visit the place was flooded with kids from elementary to high school age honing their pinball machine skills and enjoying every minute of it.

Games are very clean and in excellent playing condition. There's also Stern leaderboards visible along with their own leaderboards for solid state (older) games, which I've never seen anywhere else. The whole space is clean and welcoming. It's loud, but that's because it's a pinball spot. The staff are super friendly and provide great service. The mac n' cheese bites I had last week were freshly prepared (from scratch), cooked to order, piping hot, and totally delicious--and also under $10. The beers and ciders on tap are all mostly from small, local makers and under $10/pint. They also have plenty of NA drink options. If you're a pinball person, I dare you to find a more accommodating spot for playing and vibing out. If you're not a pinball person, this is a great place to fall in love with the game.

All craft beer and I could definitely taste the quality of the brew! The staff was very friendly and the one gentleman that helped me was so great about letting me try different beers so I could pick the one I wanted to order. When you get service like that; repeat, order, enjoy. I ordered a 2nd pint mostly because I was interested in trying some more of their beers. They had great lunch specials with some diverse options that included lighter and healthier options for a very reasonable price. I ordered the Angus beef sliders, and I asked for them to be cooked, medium rare if possible. If you know sliders, you know that they are difficult to do a medium rare, but this chef came through; my sliders were a very nice medium, rare, juicy and delicious! The caramelized onion was beautiful, just very yummy. Well, darn, it got a little busy 3:00 ish and here I am writing this fabulous review and I think he forgot to bring me my 2nd pint of beer? I reminded him and he brought it right away! I don't drink beer very often anymore, but it was just that kind of day, and a cold beer sounded good. I tend to like lighter bodied craft beers with a strong ABV, but not too fruity and limited dankness. I enjoyed a pint called Flying Fortress it was a single IPA and then another called, Present Tense, = Hazy Single IPA. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return.
