Made online order for an online deal with coupon code. When I showed up they said system was down and couldn't fulfill order. They said I wouldn't be charged but after checking my account they took the money anyway. I called their service line and had to leave a message but they never got back to me. I was forced to do a stop payment with my credit card. SHADY!

A new favorite for a quick barbecue spot! Mar 2025 First time visit to Dickey's Barbecue. We were pleasantly surprised, restaurant was nice and clean, service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a delicious 3 meat and 2 side dinner. Pork, beef and chicken plus a potato salad and baked beans. Food was served quickly, decent sized portions and sauce was very yummy with just a touch of heat. The chicken was our least favorite only cuz it seemed a lil dry after it cooled down. Plenty of parking and an extra seating area outside. We're sure to be back.

Westerner Sandwich: 17.50 for 7 oz of meat

This place has gone down hill in service and quality. This is a pour representation of a "Westerner Sandwich" $17.50 for a couple ounces of meat and two slices of bread = fail. Last visit six weeks ago had the two meat plate with brisket and pulled pork which were both dry.

2 Meat Plate, Brisket, Mac & Cheese, jalapeño and cheese sausages, Crispy Fried Okra, Texas Toast, Barbecue Beans, Chicken Breast

Food was bland. I was expecting a more homemade feel and authentic soul aspect that I think was lacking. Food was still enjoyable. Gavin was incredibly patient, and he brought the food straight to us and even had to go boxes in hand, thinking ahead about what we may have needed. I will absolutely come back due to his hospitality and customer service.

Brisket is delicious! I enjoyed trying their original and spicy BBQ sauce. Mac and Cheese was served piping hot and the baked beans were delicious. The service was great and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be trying more menu items! Thank you Dickey's!

My wife had some bbq cravings late at night and i never like to order so late but thankfully this place did take our order late. We ordered at 8:15pm and they said it would be ready at 8:45pm. We drove 30 mins to get here so it was all perfect timing. The only thing missing from this order is some baked beans that we ordered. The total cost was $50. That IS EXPENSIVE. this portion? pretty little to be honest. And the cherry on top is they said the order would've been ready at 8:45. i arrived at the exact time and we got straight to eating. The issue is that the food was COLD! How did they say order for pickup would be ready at this time and all of the food is cold? It's because and This is me assuming: THE FOOD IS ALL MICROWAVED. Clearly, they probably just half cook their meats and then fully cook it for when it's ready. Maybe all the beans are microwaved. Idk, but clearly this $50 worth of an order was NOT WORTH IT. The quality isn't worth the price. Adding on to that, nor are the portions. this was such a little meal for how expensive it was. Really dissatisfied with this bbq spot. overall, food was cold, didn't seem fresh, just seemed like some microwaveable foods. Just take ur time and go somewhere else sadly.

Our meats were cold, despite them offering to heat them up, blah that just comes the meat more. They need to close

For a rainy day, the whole Oakhouse team was in great, kind, friendly spirits and happy to dish up their well-rounded menu. Their mac and cheese had me doing that chewing-while-aggressively-pointing-at the-dish kind of thing and their brisket is the kind that doesn't need to hide behind a sauce and HALLELUJAH for that. The restaurant was not packed at 5:30p but it got busy when we finished by 7:00p so we came at a good time. I ordered the CHIMICHURRI TOP SIRLOIN. The meat was tender and flavorful with the housemade Hatch chimichurri sauce. It came with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed seasonal vegetables. Chargrilled to order. I chose less pink at medium well. My friend had the 3-bones BBQ BEEF RIBS. She gave me a piece to taste and it was so good! We had a wonderful server, Taylor, who was super friendly, engaging and attentive equally to not just our table but to all her guests... I was observing. LoL! The owner is an incredibly kind, genuine man from Atlanta who brought authentic Southern barbecue to Folsom, and it shows in every bite. This isn't just another barbecue restaurant; it's the real deal. The beef ribs are my absolute favorite. They're perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Honestly, I've tried just about everything on the menu, and I have yet to find anything that wasn't amazing. Belly Barbecue is in a league of its own, and there's simply nothing else like it anywhere around here. The only downside to Belly Barbecue being so amazing, they run out of food! But that's what happens when you make barbecue this good; people line up for it. My advice: get there early, because once they sell out, they're done for the day. If you appreciate authentic Southern barbecue made with pride and passion, Belly Barbecue is an absolute must-try. I can't recommend it highly enough!

A buddy and I split a tray with brisket, turkey, and pork ribs, plus grits, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. The turkey was good. It may not be anyone's first choice at a barbecue joint, but if a place knows what it's doing, the turkey should still be solid, and it was. The pork ribs had great flavor with perfect tenderness and just the right amount of bite. The brisket was the star of the meal. It had an excellent bark and reminded me of some of the best brisket I've had in Texas: simple salt and pepper seasoning done right. I also got my wife a beef rib and a side of collard greens to go. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back. I also liked how the owner stayed in the front and engaged with every customer. Definitely a family feel coming here.

Stopped by Buckhorn for the first time for Father's Day lunch. Great joint for pretty good BBQ!…read more Buckhorn is an order at the counter and get a number type place. The line was long when we came in, but moved quickly. The bigger problem is that there aren't nearly enough tables for how many folks were dining in. We did end up finding a table on their patio- which is always a win for our family. For about $70, we got two kids' meals (one slider and one chicken tenders), a shareables order of the tri-tip tacos (that my wife ate as her entree), and a two-protein platter with the pulled pork and tri-tip. They asked how we wanted our tri-tip cooked, and we answered medium, but all of the tri-tip came out well done. The flavors of everything were good, though, and the portions are substantial. The kids' meals are a great value. The two-protein platter was enough for two meals if you wanted it to be. The tacos were filled generously and were very tasty. I enjoyed the coleslaw- though I read some others find it bland. I did not think that at all. I really enjoyed the selection of sauces available at Buckhorn. They have a pump-your-own-sauce station with several types of BBQ sauce, horseradish sauce, ketchup, and spicy ranch. Yum! My favorite was the mustard-based BBQ sauce. Overall, I would totally return to Buckhorn. I could probably lean 4 stars here, but I think it's a better spot for BBQ than many others in my area and in the Roseville area that I've tried. It's certainly made my Roseville area visit list.

The portions were big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat. They offer different bbq sauces at a self serve station. The food didn't take too long to come out. And we enjoyed everything. We did find the smoked sausage a little spicy for the kids, but they loved the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. We liked this location even if it's a little small. There's plenty of parking spots as it's in the same plaza as Raleys. It's a smaller shop that poses as a restaurant on one side and a small market filled with Filipino snacks on the other. There's not much for ambience, but it's clean and cozy. The owner served me, and she was super warm and friendly and very welcoming. I had questions about the food and their menu and she was very patient going through all of them. She introduced me to pitchi pitchi which is a sweet and salty cassava dessert that reminds me of mochi. The cheese threw me off a little, but I read that sometimes it's served with coconut flakes. I ordered two halo halo desserts, two combos, the cassava dessert, upgraded the rice to garlic rice, two orders of lumpia, and picked up a couple of calamansi drinks and garlic peanuts as a snick snack. Total bill plus tip was over $100. The menu changes every day, which I think is interesting. And every Sunday they serve lechon for $18 a pound. Check out their Facebook page for updates in case I got this information wrong. For the food, I had half pancit and half rice. I had adobo chicken, butter chicken, and two pork dishes that I don't remember the name. I like that the pork had a good combo of fat and lean meats. I wish I could've eaten it there but we had lunch and then decided to stop here. I felt like the food being warmed up after sitting in the fridge for a bit, It kind of made all of the entrées taste similar to each other. Next time I will vary my order, like I'll get a saucey dish, a sour soup, and a bbq skewer. All in all the food tasted very homey and delicious. It's heavily seasoned. I can see myself ordering lumpia and pancit to a party. Can't wait to go back and try their lechon and pork belly.
