After first coming in, no greeting was given...just a glare from the guy working the register. Once we placed our order online (decided to do online to skip the line and use a coupon that was approved on the app) we were told that the coupon we ordered through the app with is not valid and honestly I had no words...the order was already placed and paid for and since on my end the coupon was not expired it felt wrong to be accused of something that was wrong on their end. And since when is it okay to question someone about paying more for an order that was already placed? Afterwards we got our food last, even though we ordered before another group and unfortunately it was undercooked and some overcooked fries? Not sure how that's possibly but the middle of some larger fries were quite raw and the smaller fries were burnt at the edges. When I also asked for more sauce since the sandwich came with none but only about a tablespoon on the side (which was supposed to be enough for fries and sandwich I guess) the guy on the counter said it would be a $1 more for extra sauce which is quite expensive for such a small amount. (Usually it's complimentary in restaurants as well anyways or I would assume it would be in my sandwich at least and maybe on the side for fries but nope!) I honestly felt very unwelcome and disappointed. Don't come in with high hopes unless maybe there is a better reg guy who was making all the decisions. Edit: After leaving, I checked the menu online and saw that extra sauce is only $0.50 (I wonder if the cashier Pockets the extra change?) , meaning the cashier was overcharging me. Additionally, looking at the meal we ordered, we never received the iconic big yellow cup that other customers had. It felt like we were treated poorly simply for using an in-app coupon. This was a thoroughly negative experience, and I don't appreciate being misled by an establishment. The cook was very kind though but quiet and only followed orders given by that guy. Just stopped by this dickys for the brisket at this location. Got home and couldn't believe how bad it was, I was given the end piece and it was 75% fat and no meat. There should be a law against serving food like that. You should be ashamed that this cut of meat was given to any customer. I'll never be back there again and would expect more for $25 meal. read more

If I could give "0" stars I would! I went there a few days ago. I got the 3 rib combo. It was $20.68. The ribs were tiny, I tossed out the coleslaw, it was absolutely nasty it had iceberg lettuce in it, and the sauce was nothing but watered down milk or mayonnaise. I couldn't tell what it was, but it was disgusting. I tossed the drink it was all carbonation and didn't taste like soda. I will never eat there again. I can get a full rack of ribs at Costco for that price and make my own coleslaw. That place is a hard pass! Don't waste your money! read more

The French fries were horrible. They appeared to be cooked, left out all day, and then reheated. Brown, soggy, oily. Horrible. The gentleman said they cook them fresh everyday, possibly once a day and then reheat? The Fanta was watered down, poured it out, root beer was watered down a bit. My daughter's soda was watered down (she drank some if it, then threw it away). The brisket sandwich was "ok". If i could rate it 0, i would. They are allowing people to place online orders with coupons that they do not accept. We placed our order and about 10 minutes later received a call from them saying they don't honor the discount and they could not refund us at the moment because the manager was not in. I went in person to the location to get more information because when I tried to call back, they did not answer the phone. When i asked why we were not receiving either money or food when we placed an order through THEIR website, her response was "Idk I'm just one worker". She then told me that it would 3-5 DAYS before we received our money back. I asked how many people they have doing this and she looked to the side where a stack of papers were, which tells me they have people on back order to get their money back because they want to be cheap and not honor what their literal website advertises. A new favorite for a quick barbecue spot! Mar 2025 First time visit to Dickey's Barbecue. We were pleasantly surprised, restaurant was nice and clean, service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a delicious 3 meat and 2 side dinner. Pork, beef and chicken plus a potato salad and baked beans. Food was served quickly, decent sized portions and sauce was very yummy with just a touch of heat. The chicken was our least favorite only cuz it seemed a lil dry after it cooled down. Worst service ever. Had a holiday lunch catered for 150 homeless folks. I ordered a Mac and cheese bar and they showed up with Mac and cheese sour cream butter and chives, obviously for a potato bar. So for a BBQ Place in a affluent neighborhood, you would think they would have their shit together. 3.1 stars is giving them some credit. I ordered delivery for my Son-in-law for his birthday today, and another meal for my daughter so they could eat together. Mainly because neither my Son in Law or Daughter are huge gravy fans, but they like a little and prefer to add it themselves. So she tells him "gravy on the side please", he says no problem, we got it, or something similar to that in a language my wife doesn't speak, but that's a whole other YELP review. My wife had some bbq cravings late at night and i never like to order so late but thankfully this place did take our order late. We ordered at 8:15pm and they said it would be ready at 8:45pm. We drove 30 mins to get here so it was all perfect timing. The only thing missing from this order is some baked beans that we ordered. The total cost was $50. That IS EXPENSIVE. this portion? pretty little to be honest. And the cherry on top is they said the order would've been ready at 8:45. i arrived at the exact time and we got straight to eating. The issue is that the food was COLD! How did they say order for pickup would be ready at this time and all of the food is cold? It's because and This is me assuming: THE FOOD IS ALL MICROWAVED. Clearly, they probably just half cook their meats and then fully cook it for when it's ready. Maybe all the beans are microwaved. Idk, but clearly this $50 worth of an order was NOT WORTH IT. The quality isn't worth the price. Adding on to that, nor are the portions. this was such a little meal for how expensive it was. I've been coming here for years. I've stopped coming because the last few visits have been disappointing. Today was no different. The brisket was really dry and did not have that BBQ flavor. The sweet tea was NOT sweet and it tasted more like Lipton than Texas sweet tea. The size of the side has shrunk and is half the size it was. There was a good amount of meat on the bread, but again it was so dry I could not finish it. There is no soft serve machine here. Sadly, I think this is my last visit here. It's not southern bbq from a legit place in South Carolina or anything like that so I'm rating it against other chain non fast food restaurants. The meat is well cooked, tastes great and can be cut with a fork for the most part. The sides are good too. All good for this level of food. The rolls are fine but not amazing.
