Kinda cool that you can pick two flavors for the Strawberry Shortcake and a cherry on top. So good, I devoured it instantly. The lime rickey tasted too watered down, so nothing of note there. They do have windows outside to order like other ice cream places, but I guess they weren't opened until a later time? Instead, you can walk into the shop and order from there. There's actually alot going on inside, cake, candy and obviously ice cream! If the race happens again, this will definitely be part of the routine.

Pound Hill Creamery & Cafe serves Gifford's ice cream, coffee and simple breakfast foods, such as muffins, bagels, egg sandwiches and croissants. I had their egg, cheese, and sausage on a croissant. It was so very good, buttery, and fresh. For ice cream, I had their pistachio nut. I really enjoyed that the ice cream had pistachios in it. Service was absolutely wonderful and it seems there are many regulars at the cafe. When you walk in, you feel very much like at home. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

My husband got the maple walnut and he thought it wasn't as sweet as it should have been. He wasn't a fan and while he might try another flavor, he's not impressed. The ice cream is sweet and creamy with plenty of flavor. Next up, we explored their market. Gift items, pantry items, grab 'n go cakes, muffins, pizza strips and sweet snacks, milk, cheese, ice cream containers. Lots of sweet treats in the display cases too. We ended our visit with a visit to the cows and milking barn. We were too early to see the milking process but we did walk the little trail where kids can participate in a scavenger hunt. Get supplies in the tractor mailbox at the beginning if the path. A few heifers are penned up outside the milking barn and several more were standing in front of a huge fan at the back. At 90° even the cows want a fan! There's a good amount of parking in front of and to the left of the market. Handicap spots are right by the market door. Two porta-potty right next to the parking lot.
