The teens that run this Dairy Queen do an amazing job! The inside of the establishment is always clean. The kids are friendly, take my order quickly, and have no issue bringing the food out to me. Growing up in Blackstone, I would come to this location pretty often. The parking lot sucks, but it's in an odd place so what can they really do? I've always liked the food here and this time I had the garlic parm chicken tenders. They were great! Nicely sauced and tasted fresh. It's usually good except the drive-thru line takes forever now and they recently raised their prices on most items on average about 5%, which was already high to begin with. $4.16 for a small blizzard that hardly had any M&M's in it. Dairy Queen in general is great, but the Bellingham location is an overstatement for any ordinary DQ. I don't know when they completely changed this location, but it used to be an old Dairy Queen without food. Now, it's a Grill and Chill restaurant, which is the upgraded version of DQ with burgers, chicken, hot dogs and much more. This specific location has a drive thru, quick service and a great area inside as well. It's not ugly and old such as the Foxborough location, and actually has been updated to the modern DQ format. Even though parking is limited, service is always fast, so parking in the lot next door (where Honey Dew is) is alright. In addition, the staff are friendly and the ice cream is great. Soft serve only, but that's what DQ is known for! Drive thru is mega fast here and even the big huge sundaes seem to come out in lightning fast speed. I would return if I was back in the Bellingham area. 5 stars. read more

Had a Mini-Blizzard, Chocolate Xtreme . . . very tasty and highly recommended for us chocoholics. Place was busy last night and they weren't too efficient at getting the ice cream to people in a timely manner. The owner finally came over to us and asked what we ordered and went back and made sure we finally got our ice cream. We were on our way home one hot and humid afternoon from RI when we saw the sign for a DQ. This one not only serves the cold and frozen stuff, but also the different meal combos. The line was almost out the door, and stayed like that for the hour that we were there (apparently a softball tournamount was taking place nearby) but I have to give kudos to the staff. They were hopping and staying on top of all the orders, AND they kept their cool. Also, the tables were kept clean and filled with napkins. Prefer this location over all of the others nearby. Come here every so often with my girlfriend and the dog for blizzards. Always well made and the employees are friendly. Have not eaten any meal items here, so I can't speak to that. There is always a long drive through line which hopefully says something about the service and quality. read more

I LOVE the DQ chain, but this one is a disappointment. Not only my experience but the lack of owner's response. I live in another state, but travel to RI frequently, as I have many ties there. Going through Bellingham I saw a DQ and was delighted, as I don't have one near me. The first time I went, the food was great. A few months later I went by again, and again spent about $10 for a meal. The burger was literally burnt and dry. It was terrible, but I was already on Rte. 495N to go home, so couldn't return. I thought it was just a fluke. A couple of months later I went back again, and got the same meal (drive through always.) Again, on Rte. 495 I started to eat the burger, and again it was terrible. I called the restaurant, but they just said they were sorry and that was it. I contacted DQ Headquarters (still have the emails) and they apologized profusely and reached out to the owner with my email. No reply. I contacted a second time a month later and again they forwarded to the owner. No reply. I contacted a THIRD time, and this time HQ didn't reply. Honestly, I paid over $20 for two awful burgers. I only wanted restitution of the burger part, or at least an apology. To this day, 6 months later, no reply. I was not rude; in fact I was very polite. If this had happened just once, that is one thing. The first time, I let it go. The second time, no. Why the owner never responded, or at least a manager, is beyond me. But looking at the poor reviews, clearly it isn't just me. I've let all my friends down there know, do not patronize this store. If I'm of such little concern to them, they cannot even reach out and reply, then I wanted to be sure to let others know. And I did. And that is a lot of people, including teams, etc. Now I just go to another place instead. They lost not only a customer in me, but many others, based upon my recommendation. When an owner thinks so little of a customer, and has no respect nor regard, to even return an email or contact, it's time to move on. read more

I just waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru line for 2 ice creams. The staff did not apologize for the extremely long wait. Upon receiving our ice creams and driving away they were completely melted and leaked all over the car when the top was removed. It is unacceptable to not only have your customers wait an unreasonable amount of time but to actually serve them ice cream that is liquefied. We are upset and disappointed.
