One of the best place to get your car aligned and these guys are true professionals. IF you are tired of getting your car aligned and the steering wheel still crooked and all, look no further and give these guys a call. They installed my rear upper camber arms, front offset ball joints, and coilovers. Their alignment is spot on and they have you sit in your vehicle to get it to your liking while up on the lift. As you may know the Tesla Model X is notorious for its rear negative camber problem. I installed rear shims and brought it to Robert to ensure the toe and camber was dialed in perfect. Probably one of the best alignment experience I've had. I was recommended Chewerks from a friend so I reached out and booked an appointment for an alignment and height adjustment. Robert and his staff was very friendly upon arriving and made me feel welcomed. For the alignment, they ask you to sit in the car so they can really dial in your settings. It was a bit nerve wrecking to be lifted up in the air with my car like it was some Fast and Furious movie, but the staff and I were just chatting the entire time. Was so very happy to have a great alignment place close to home! First visit to Chewerks for me, but seems all the track guys have been getting work done by Rob for a long time. Been on a long break from autocross with my car, but this is the kind of alignment shop I've always preferred, done by pros who know alignment. This place works better than West End for me, since also open Saturdays!!! Allowed me to take in wife's car since the car seemed to be crabwalking when followed her car one morning. Sure enough the driver's rear wheel had a big toe-in. It's great to see Rob align using the Hunter machines, you can see the numbers on screen and he puts all the numbers to precise settings when done. There was out of spec negative camber on the passenger front wheel that's not adjustable and he asked if car was in an accident. I believe it was long time ago. Either way, all toes and most importantly the thrust angle were set dead straight to know I won't be seeing it crabwalking again:) Very efficient operation, with 2 racks and assistant prepping car to allow Rob to dole out his expertise as soon as other car is done. He took car for a quick test drive and made slight adjustment to center the steering wheel better. It ended up being very slightly off to the left but not enough to request another adjustment, though I am sure he would gladly make another quick adjustment if you request. Overall, I was very excited to have this kind of alignment expertise available to me locally. There is absolutely no need to take your car to a dealership for alignment, as the last dealership alignment I got was not satisfactory at all. For a normal car, you can probably go in and out of here in about half an hour and drive away with better alignment than dealers. For a track/enthusiast type of cars, this place is a must. I'll 100% be going to Chewerks to get my own car aligned next time my car needs it! P.S. be sure to call ahead to make appointment, as this is a busy operation. Also, I had a bit of trouble locating this shop for few mins before I noticed a bunch of fixed up cars parked along one of the buildings, lol. Made a $50 deposit and then came in at an early 7:30 for an appointment with Robert to fix the alignment on my 2021 Tesla Model 3. In and out in a quick 30 minutes and everything is back to spec.
