She moved my appt around to make sure I got a therapist that would suit my preferences. The spa is clean and very relaxing. The locker rooms and restrooms were very clean. Complimentary robes and slippers were provided along with personal lockers.. My therapist, Sage, was so goooooodddd! She paid close attention to my various ailments and made sure that I was comfortable. I will definitely see her again. They have a very large retail section. I just wish I had enough time to look at everything.

I left my appointment feeling physically refreshed and grateful for the care I received. Unfortunately, the experience leading up to the appointment was far less relaxing. My mom booked the massage for me over the phone, clearly requesting Saturday. However, the appointment was mistakenly scheduled for Friday. My phone number was given during booking, but the confirmation texts went to my mom, who assumed I was receiving them and didn't double-check the date. When I didn't show up Friday, she was informed of a $50 no-show fee. I rebooked for Sunday and had a great massage. At checkout, I mentioned that I'd had some issues leading up to the appointment. No one asked what those issues were or how they could improve--which felt like a missed opportunity for genuine customer care. I explained the situation, acknowledging that there was fault on both sides: the spa misbooked the date, and my mom didn't confirm the texts. I asked if they'd consider a small discount to share the burden of the $50 fee. The answer was a flat no. I even asked if they were really okay losing a client over what could've been a $15 gesture of goodwill. Again, no flexibility, no accountability, no interest in resolution. I'm not someone who typically leaves reviews, but the unwillingness to meet a client halfway--especially in a situation involving a prenatal massage--was disappointing. The spa itself is excellent, but the management's rigidity and lack of empathy left a sour note on an otherwise beautiful experience.

Stephanie is very welcoming and attentive to her customer's wants and needs. Her calming presence makes the experience comforting from the start. For a "standard" package, the massage is top quality. I struggled to stay awake and couldn't be happier. Stephanie excels in both soft and deep tissue massage techniques. I typically enjoy a large amount of pressure and she was able to find an excellent balance to resolve hidden tensions while also avoiding pain. I would highly recommend visiting this location if you're looking for a breath from reality or an excuse to treat yourself.

I've had a lot of manis and pedis in my life, but these were the best. Also, I was the only person getting a mani and pedi. Their set up suggests that only one client at a time is allowed to get a mani or pedi. I don't know whether this has always been their set up or if it's new due to Covid. Also, when getting the mani, Tiffany and I were separated by a plexiglass shield. From now on I'll only get manis and pedis from Tiffany at Radiance. My regular (non-gel) mani lasted almost 2 weeks! I recently had my hair colored by Teresa. She did a great job. She has also blown-out my curly hair a few times, making it nice and straight, but with bounce. Gabby has washed my hair and gives an awesome scalp massage! Radiance at Lansdowne takes Covid seriously and follows strict protocol to prevent transmission. They got an all-new building air filtration system early in the pandemic. All employees wear masks at all times: they don't even eat in the building as that would mean removing their masks! And, if you'd like the employee you'll be seeing to double-mask and wear a face shield, you can just let the front desk know and they'll accommodate your request. They follow an anti-Covid cleaning regimen that's VERY thorough and do not allow employees to work if they are sick. Before your appointment you must complete a questionnaire that assesses the possibility that you've been infected. You must call the salon from your car when you arrive for your appointment and they will let you know when you may enter the building. They have hand sanitizer at the door and expect all clients to sanitize their hands upon entering the building. I am super paranoid about getting Covid, but feel safe going to Radiance at Lansdowne.

I was shocked that I was not told that at the time of styling that it would be a surcharge (and anyways, $33 to curl hair??) Writing this review to warn others of "hidden" charges. We have great conversations that make time go by and elevate the facial to more than just a facial- a whole experience. She always puts in her best effort into my skin and has me leaving flawlessly. I once had these two millia on my skin (specifically my eye lids) and my dermatologist recommended me to get some kind of surgery to burn them off. However, she was able to patiently remove them with such meticulous effort. If it wasn't for her, I would have gone through surgery to remove them. I also want to say that I am on Accutane, so this place is Accutane friendly! Normally, people on Accutane can not get facials due to dehydrated skin, but I have to say that Naha caters to diverse pool of skins! She always uses products that will help elevate and clean my skin without damaging it. Hence, my dermatologist recommending me to go to an esthetician and remove my blackheads. The clinic/spa is super clean. She wore gloves and a mask which I personally appreciate and also sanitized the room before she brought me in. She was a good conversationist and had some good advise and insights about my skin. She took her time with me. The girl in the front office was also super sweet and polite and when Maha was running behind a few minutes, they both took the time to come talk to me individually. It made me feel like a valued customer. Definitely recommend. I will probably go for a microdermabrasion facial next.
