Bao Town is a welcome change! We tried the pork belly baos this visit. They were so good we plan to return to try other options, too. If you haven't been to The Garden, it's an open air courtyard with around a dozen vendors, including a bar, offering a variety of culinary options satisfying a myriad of cravings. If you make it down here, be sure to try a bao; you'll be glad you did!

It is an outside seating with roof for those rainy days. First if you are unfamiliar with bao, its this fluffy white bread that is steamed (not baked). These bao at this location is about the size of slider. We were offered Pork Belly bao, chicken and shrimp shu mai (also comes filled with pork), a piece of crepe cake, and a soda. I also order the 2 bao combo (Spicy Korean & Char Siu pork bao) comes with Orange Chicken and rice, and pot sticker soup. The pork belly bao was delicious. The Char Siu boa was equally amazing. These two go great together. So if order the 2 bao combo, get these two. Spicy Korean Chicken was like eating a Korean fried chicken sandwich. Served with Gochujang (Korean ketchup). This was also tasty. There is 2 or 3 bao combo on the menu, but the menu does not state what comes with the combo. When I ordered the 2 bao combo it came with orange chicken and rice and a pot sticker soup (close to wonton soup). It may or may not come with a can of soda. The service was friendly and I got my order within five minutes. Bao Town does explore the different flavors from Asia. The Pork Belly is Vietnamese inspire. Char Sui is Chinese flavor. Spicy Korean Chicken is Korean inspired, and Satay is glavor of Thailand. Check out Bao Town. You won't be disappointed.

This chef in Pensacola clears it. What separates this place is discipline. The broth is layered and deliberate--clean yet deeply expressive--showing patience rather than shortcuts. Every garnish serves a purpose. The waffle egg rolls deserve special mention: the balance of textures, from the crunch of the patterned exterior to the flavored softness of the interior, shows a craftsman who understands restraint as well as flavor. What's most impressive is how the chef elevates ingredients that aren't flown in daily. Through technique, timing, and care, he extracts excellence where others would settle for adequacy. That's not luck--that's mastery. Pensacola is fortunate. This restaurant isn't just good "for the area." It stands comfortably among the best I've had anywhere. A true jewel, quietly operating at a world-class level.

The bathroom was truly so gross. The floor and walls were filthy and there was no toilet paper. There were literal feces paper towels in the trash because of this. I literally almost puked by seeing the state of the bathroom and wished I hadn't eaten there. This prompted me to take a look at their health inspection rating and it wasn't on display. That is pretty concerning.

I've been here several times and…read moretried a bunch of different items, everything I've had so far has been fantastic (with a couple personal notes). * Hummus & Pita Plate - 10/10 Best hummus ever! The veggies are super fresh, and the warm pita is my favorite menu item. * Bacon Avocado Club - 10/10 Hearty, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. * Lion's Mane Chimichurri Sandwich - 5/10 Flavor was great, but the mushroom texture was too chewy for me. * Sriracha Mac & Cheese - 10/10 Absolutely addicting. * Knuckle Sandwich - 8/10 Tasty, but not as filling as the club sandwich. Even my non-vegan friends love this place! Delicious food, good vibes, and a super friendly staff. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Not surprising though considering the lackluster lazy service on top of the horrible garbage food. Just because you get vegan food doesn't mean you want to eat flavorless, overly salty or oily food that tastes like ash. If you prefer to use words like rancid, inedible, unsalvageable, carbonized or say tastes like ash, it's beyond redemption/saving, tastes or has a charcoal bitter aftertaste, rubbery and charred, extremely oily or extremely salty for "good food" and like lacksadaisical customer service then you should go here.
