I have stayed here for corporate meetings. Each time Pina, who is the hostess in the restaurant was there for breakfast. She is extremely friendly, personable and efficient and does an excellent job. It is always a pleasure to see her again. It is always great to see her there. Chris was a bus driver that took our group out for dinner and he also did a phenomenal job. The location was easy to get to and was near the airport. Though being next to the busy O'Hare airport we never once her a plane go over while we were inside the hotel. However they did the sound block was absolutely wonderful. The cooking and wait stuff were absolutely wonderful. There were quite a few downsides. When walking through the room from the outer room into the bedroom, there is a difference in flooring in between. That flooring it is extremely slick if the AC is on. The shower in the room we stayed in was also extremely slick. I felt like I was stuck on one side or the others I did not want to fall. I can't imagine someone who has any sort of mobility issues being able to get through that without possibly hurting themselves. We did bring this up to the manager and she told us that if we had something to put down in the shower that would help give it some grip we could do this. She did not seem very interested that we would like to be able to use the shower without fear falling. we did throw towel down in the shower just to try to be able to take a shower after a long day. It was also very frustrating to go up to the front desk cause we are leaving and ask about a room rate for a stay we have in Chicago. He was unable to pull up the rates for me when I asked. It just seemed like some things they could do and somethings they could not. The hotel itself was decent overall, and the location and accommodations met expectations. However, I was disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from the front desk regarding a significant cleanliness concern in the fitness center. I made multiple requests for sanitary wipes to be replenished in the gym, but the issue was not addressed. Given that guests are sharing fitness equipment daily, having proper cleaning supplies available is a basic health and sanitation expectation. A fitness center requires consistent attention to cleanliness, and the inability to resolve such a simple request was frustrating. While the property has positives, the lack of follow-through from staff on a hygiene-related concern negatively impacted my stay. I hope management improves its process for monitoring and maintaining the fitness center for future guests. read more

We were jetting out of O'Hara early the next morning so wanted a convenient hotel to get a good night sleep. This hotel is super close to O'Hara and to the car rental center. Unfortunately you still need to drive to both or take the shuttle. The hotel is just ok for a Marriott. It could use some updating. Hotel reminds me of a doubletree hotel. The lobby was very dark feeling. The hotel rooms were a bit blah. The shower was super small, a bit old school. But the bathroom itself was a good size. The hotel is a bit noisy due to be close to airplanes taking off and building not soundproof. The hotel is not for light sleepers. As you will hear the planes taking off. Keep your windows closed to reduce noise level. The bed was comfy. The typical Marriott sheets furnished the bed. Room had a nice wet bar with fridge and a microwave. Bonus! The location is great for airport travel. The checkin staff was lovely. The checkout staff was also lovely. My Son and I were having a drink at the bar, talking about his dead brother. The conversation was solemn so we were seated away from others in a quiet area. We didn't expect everyone else to STFU but we also didn't expect outright SHOUTING. A single shout? Fine. A couple of hoots? Sure. Persistent bellowing? GTFOH. The bartender (who had obviously over-served an asshole), was content to allow it. I was not. It should not be the responsibility of other bar patrons to monitor your service. Do better. read more

Something to note is I picked the hotel as transition between a hotel downtown and close to the airport after a conference. I didn't come here after some kind of travel mishap. Food- Airport prices hurt my soul but you are getting great portions here. My tacos and calamari ended up being 2 meals. So in girl math that's half off. There's also a cute little Starbucks coffee machine situation near the front door. Service- Front desk- I used the app to check in and out so actual front desk service was really minimal for me. I imagine this is super handy if you have an awkward check in time or your social battery just can't handle. Bar- omg love the bartender. He was so friendly and kind. I could have talked to him forever but alas you have to let people do their jobs. Shuttle- Quick and kind. He made sure to ask what airline I was going to. Room- I got top floor which was cool but you are literally near an airport. I anticipated this and brought earplugs so the incoming/outgoing planes didn't wake my light sleeping self. Your lack of critical thinking doesn't give you a right to be mad about that fact. lol. Room was clean, internet WiFi worked like a charm, good pillows and great hotel toiletries. We booked a suite at this property, as we had a group of five that we were traveling with (two couples, plus one) and needed a larger space to suit that. Our suite had two very large beds with super plush comforters and tufted pillows, making them seem even larger. Those two beds accommodated our two couples, and the fifth guest had a comfy sofa bed/couch out in the living room area, which he found to be a good/comfortable alternative. The rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. The doors to the bedroom closed, separating it from the living room area, if you want to make two separate spaces. There was a separate seating area (separate from the sofa bed area) that had another little lounger chair, as well as a desk and office chair for getting work done, if you are on a business trip. The bathroom configuration was very interesting. It was a walkthrough hall with three separate rooms - one that was a vanity area with a large mirror and the sink, with a closet opposite the mirror, and then another walkthrough room with just the large tub in there, and then a third small room with the stand-up shower and toilet. We found this to be a great option for a group of our size, and pretty affordable compared to the properties that are right within the city, whereas this was a bit outside the bustle of the city but right on the interstate to easily hop on and head into Chicago each day. We drove ourselves (this was a road trip) but I could definitely see this being a good airport hotel, with how close it is to O'Hare, and a good option for a group of up to five! read more

The hotel was nice and it is near the arena. The room was fine and the area is fairly quiet if facing the back of the property. They do charge for parking. I did notice that the gate was left open late at night though. It made me wish I had not paid for parking earlier in the day. The day I arrived, both gates were closed. The day I left, one of the gates was open again. They do not ask for license plate info, so I guess you may get lucky with free parking if you get there at the right time. The casino is next door, not sure if parking there is free or cheaper. read more

Parking was super easy and the look of the hotel was so inviting :-) The room is another story. The design was beautiful! However, the bed isn't comfortable, the sofa wasn't comfortable, the room was so dry I couldn't breath or blow my nose without blood. The shower also didn't drain properly. Very friendly staff especially when a wave of unhappy guests come due to cancelled/delayed flights. We were exhausted and starving when we arrived. We were thrilled to see the kitchen was still open. My bf and I got the Buffalo chicken quesadilla and wings. The quesadilla had the perfect amount of heat and it was cooked to perfection. Love it when the tortilla is crispy! Also it's nice that it comes with salsa, guacamole, and salsa on the side. The wings were also delicious. We must've started a trend that night in the restaurant because following our order, three more couples got the exact same thing. All were happy with their order. The room was nice. The view not so much but it's Chicago in the fall. We did get stuck on one of the elevators with a employee of the hotel, the fire department was called and we were rescued. The hotel comped our parking fees and breakfast since we missed it due to the elevator incident. The hotel breakfast was good. The mini buffet had a lot of options for people of different tastes and the chef made pancakes and omelets in front of you per your requests. Besides from having to pay for parking and WiFi, I didn't have any complaints. The location is close to a couple gas stations for car renters such as myself, not to far from the airport, and close to restaurants of all types, their an Italian one literally next door, you can walk there in like 3 minutes. I would like to especially give a shout out to Acencio who made sure I could finish my laundry when the dryer stopped working. I visited this hotel twice. My husband and I initially stayed here for a weekend staycation. I loved it so much I ended up returning to treat my mom for her birthday weekend. Everything from the booking process to departure ran smoothly. This hotel underwent a major suite renovation a few years ago. The current refreshes definitely bring the accommodations up to date. The bar area, restaurant, pool, and gym are all located on the ground floor. Ballrooms and convention space are on the level above. Like all other hotels in the area, if you a guest of the hotel they offer free transport shuttle service to O'hare airport. The suites are spacious and feel private. Both times the rooms we were assigned to remain clean. The suites have entryway doors which separate the bedroom from the rest of the living space. I like how this particular set-up gives the suite a room-within-a-room feel. There are 2 TV's in every suite, one being in your bedroom and the other in the living space. The TV dashboard menu not only serves as cable entertainment but it allows you to view the guest directory, room service menu, checkout, and your bill. The bathroom area is quite large with separate spaces for vanity, bath tub, shower, and toilet. All of us agreed the best part of the bathroom were the Kohler fixtures in the shower. The rain shower head had excellent pressure and you can switch over to the convenient hand held option. The bed and pillows were the only negative things we encountered during our stay. Honestly these minor blips are one of personal preference. That's not to say their beds are uncomfortable. My husband and I had zero issues with sleep. We recently purchased a bed for our home and the bed in our suite just wasn't as plush as what we're used to. The pillows they have are down material. We're not used to down pillows and we didn't enjoy the sinking feeling. On both visits we purchased our rooms online which include parking and breakfast. Their breakfast buffet in the restaurant space is outstanding and the options are typically better than average. The buffet is complete with an omelet station, fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, in addition to your carb staples like cereal and bagels. Non-alcoholic drinks (like coffee and OJ) are also included. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased at their hotel bar. The hotel staff has continuously been pleasant and accommodating. It's one of the better hotels in the area and if given the opportunity, I wouldn't mind making a return visit. read more

Currently the pool is unavailable, we weren't interested in using it so I didn't ask about it. Just a heads-up to ask, if it's something you want to do. Update: Sooooo the overflowing black oily sink water onto the entire bathroom fiasco... ya. So not only was the manager fighting with us about a refund or any possible compensation for the terrible experience and not being able to use our room to its intended capacity (literally couldn't use the entire bathroom), WE WERE DOUBLE CHARGED. I no longer can recommend this place. Definitely stay elsewhere if you can so you don't have the possibility of being treated this way. If you are being dropped off or picked up by an Uber, save yourself unnecessary stress an stay elsewhere. Also: airport noise seems to be worse here than other hotels in the area. In order for a car to get to the front door it needs to go through gates intended to charge for parking. Your driver has to scan a QR or text a code, takes some time, but if the gate is open when they enter and don't scan anything, then you're trapped when trying to leave. Spent 5 minutes trying to leave the stupid parking lot talking to the front desk. On the way in my driver couldn't even figure it out, gave up, and left me at the entrance to the lot. On flight noise: incredibly loud. The Loews is where I normally stay but it was sold out, and you cannot hear planes taking off or landing there at all. Honestly read more

Robert & Carlos were fabulous during our entire stay. Anytime I bought from the hotel's convenience store or had a request or needed assistance with anything, they were always very polite and friendly and informative. And besides them, the hotel felt very safe. The area was quiet, well lit and had stuff around to walk to if bored in room. Even the lobby's sitting area was great. And although their restaurant was closed, the bar still is open and they work with the restaurant next door for room service, if need be. The setup of the room is great. There is a set of French doors entering into bedroom from living room. And then there are sliding doors, 1 separating living room from the toilet and shower, 1 separating the toilet and shower from the sink and closet, and 1 separating the bedroom from the sink. So if you're staying with multiple people, there is always privacy and space for everyone to do what they need to. I loved that I could use the sink and get ready for a night out while hubby was in the shower steaming it up haha. And even the idea that if our friends came over, they could always sleep on the pullout sofabed and still feel at ease not having to disturb us when using bathroom (some suite hotels have it set up so you have to go through bathroom in order to get to restroom). Would definitely stay here again when in Chicago. read more

Stayed here for a recent business trip. Very near the airport and very nice facility. Also very near a large entertainment district with lots of restaurants. I saw some comments about the shuttle running every 15 minutes, that was not the case. Apparently it only runs ever half hour, so factor that in. We must have just missed the shuttle coming out of the airport as we had what felt like a very long wait for the next shuttle. The room was very nice and spacious. Well appointed. Free guest wifi was easy to use. We were there for a conference, so we spent a day in a conference room as well, which was also very nice. The staff was very helpful making sure we had everything we needed in our conference room. We spent a little time at the lobby bar as well. A nice space with interesting decor. I ordered the Cuban sliders since we were hungry after our flight in. They were very good, I enjoyed them and would order them again. Being the only menu offering I had, that's all I can really comment on. We found out that the bar did not open until 2pm, so that was an issue for some of our group as we had some time to kill between checking out and heading to the airport on our last day here. There's a nice little patio area out back with tables and chairs, a scenic little river running through there. We sat out there for a while waiting on the bar to open. Not sure what the insanely loud very high pitched humming was, but that was super annoying. I kept trying to figure out if it was electrical lines (it kind of had that high voltage power line noise) or an insane amount of some strange bug. All I know was, it was annoying. Not knocking the hotel for that, it's not their fault. just know it was an issue before thinking "Oh, outdoor seating looks great!" Also, being next to the little river, we had some little flying bugs that seemed very interested in us the whole time too, so I felt like I was swatting flies the whole time. Hotel is ok and this place offers what I call a "sub-suite". Not the typical hotel suite you would imagine and is more like a "low-end" type of a suite, but I got rooms here for only like $120 a night so I can't complain. This hotel offers a shuttle from O'Hare airport and back every 20 minutes. Also has a small gym and pool that I wouldn't use. The one thing I really hate about this place is that Wi-Fi is NOT free and they charge $14.95 per day if you want Wi-Fi, unless you go to the hotel lobby. read more

Picked this property for its close proximity to the airport and blue line. We got picked up at the airport relatively quickly and the front desk experience was wonderful. Our room is spacious, clean, and really quiet for an airport hotel. There were a couple of tiny maintenance issues, and they were efficiently handled. Bedding is comfortable and the bathroom amenities were nice--loved that our room had a separate tub and shower. The breakfast was nice, and the dining room was comfortable with great service. This is one of the most disgusting Marriotts I have ever stayed at. The front desk was rude and short. They had me on hold for close to 40 mins and never did pick up. My room was old and smelled of urine and sweat. Both beds in the room had a very strong odor of urine, it was hard to even breathe the smell was so disgusting! The remote control had dried food and who knows what else caked in it. I had no amenities in the bathroom just a bar of soap and a dirty towel. I called down to order food so I could bring it up to my room, I tried calling for over an hour and a half and no reply. When I went down there there were only three guest eating, they were not busy at all! I would never stay here again, rude people, filthy rooms and the smell was probably the most disgusting smell ever! read more

This is a very nice hotel. I stayed there on Thursday, September 18 with my son and husband. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was really nice and it had a nice pull out sofa bed for my son to sleep. The decor was nice and very modern. The room also had a nice sink along with a microwave and small fridge. The only thing was no room service because of Covid. We only stay there two nights. We had to request additional towels. It was not a problem because the housekeeper brought them up to us. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would absolutely stay here again. It's very close to the airport and in a very nice neighborhood. read more

I found the property to be nice enough. I took the airport shuttle which comes 2X per hour at station #2 in the red airport transportation zone. I actually had a good conversation with the shuttle driver who was very friendly. It's a 5 minute taxi ride if you decide to go that direction. The hotel is clean, my room/suite was plenty big and felt updated/new. It had a kitchenette, coffee machine, microwave and two televisions. I'd go back, it was around $220/night. The manager on duty on 8/19/22 at 12pm was very rude and unprofessional. We were at ohare airport and called the Marriott for a shuttle at 11:46. We were told the shuttle should be there in about 10 minutes. We waited 40 and no shuttle arrived. We called back and the she told us there was a new driver and he had no walkie talkie, but she just spoke to him and he'd be there shortly. Another 30 minutes passed, and no shuttle. I called again and the "supervisor" that answered said there is nothing she can do and we'd just have to wait. She was rude & hung up. I called back to speak to a manager and she told me she was it, when I asked for her name- she hung up again. Definitely do not recommend this place- rude staff read more

I have been coming to this hotel since I was but a child and seeing how this hotel has changed over the years is fantastic. The staff is always so helpful and the atmosphere is wonderful. The smell when you walk in is a familiar clean smell. My beloved and I love to come here for weekend getaways. She enjoys the cozy bed very much, almost like a cloud. I love how the TVs are far better than any hotel I've stayed at - they're actually smart TVs and input friendly! Huge plus! The views are amazing and love the unique neighborhood of rosemont/ohare. The pool is great, bit small but fine when there isn't too many people around. The new gym area is great and so many new machines and equipment that makes me want to use them! For any technical issues we have had (rarely happens), the staff is quick to resolve the issue. For either a small party to just a simple getaway, this hotel has been our go-to place to just relax. We stood for a quick staycation get away to celebrate my daughters birthday. We really Enjoyed our stay; and it started with the extremely warm greeting from the guy at the front desk, Adam! He helped a bunch of times during our stay, and always did it with great positive energy. This guy is a rockstar! The room was clean and comfortable. This was by far the worst and most horrible experience I had staying here. The "supervisor" Lena or Lina was by far the most unprofessional employee I've come across. She had the nastiest attitude towards us guest, she had the cops called on us to get out of the hotel after no warnings of us being disturbing. We had acknowledged that we had a problem going on and attempted to remove the problem from our room so we are not being rude to the other guests staying near us. She seen us do so, all while coming switching swifts with the person before her. She didn't come to us with no problem or complaint but instead greeted us, not even 20 mins into her shift she decided to come to us and let us know that we had 10 mins to get all of our things and get out, we rented a room for 2 nights and still had an entire night to stay and morning but she didn't allow us to fully enjoy the 2 nights because she said there was multiple complaints thru out the night but not once were we told anything. We had apologized and said we would be more respectful and keep whatever noise down, but she proceeded to be persistent and had the police come escort us out. Once it was time to talk to her, she didn't want to speak to us and explain the whole situation how it played out, instead she had another employee Roberto deal with the problem that she had with us guests, I asked for the supervisor which being her as they stated and she refused to even show her face and talk to us so we can come to a mutual understanding. She was extremely rude and unprofessional when police arrived and didn't want to have no conversation, and I feel as a supervisor she should be the one to have to talk to us and explain furthermore or at least acknowledge that she just started her shift and acknowledge that there was nothing said to us prior to this whole Experience. We then asked for a refund on our last night simply because we didn't get to stay the night and they refused. We got our things and left respectfully. When it comes to leaving the facility we then had an issue leaving and they refused to help us get out after making us leave with no choice. Roberto was extremely unprofessional at that point telling us that "he is the devil" and he believes in hell and "we don't know what we just got ourselves into" it's extremely disgusting to have employees who treat guest that way with no type of respect, and not once did their supervisor show her face to try and handle the situation as she should've since she was the one with the issue with us guests staying there. I was so taken back by how unprofessional this whole entire situation played out due to Lina/Lena. I hope you guys take being treated a certain way after paying hundreds of dollars to stay somewhere, because this hotel was by far the worse experience I've ever had. read more

The Marriott Suites is located fairly close to the airport by shuttle, however, the first thing you notice is that if you take the hotel shuttle, you will be waiting forever. They come every 30 minutes, and even then, they have to stop at every terminal. Expect almost an hour between touchdown and when you can check-in The hotel itself is nice, the bar/restaurant food is great. They have a great alcohol selection, and the bartenders are nice (although the alcohol is fairly pricey, around $15 per drink). The rooms have been recently renovated, and are comfortable and usable. A major ding against the hotel is due to housekeeping barging into the room at 8AM in the morning. I was in the shower at this point and it was highly awkward... I complained to the front desk, and they mentioned that's SOP for being an airport hotel. Guess making sure the rooms are clean is more important than their guests comfort. read more

The room was clean enough and aesthetically pleasing. It's a nice place but staff needs to do a better job with the upkeep and reporting maintenance issues. The toilet in our room took forever to stop running even after jiggling the handle. The toilet seat needed to be replaced and the ironing board was broken. The vents needed to be cleaned along with the fixtures. The front desk person was dry and not super inviting. Parking is like $30 but you can come and go with your room key. My event was at the other marriott was I was told was not good and that's why I booked at the marriott suites instead. I am commenting just on my room and the customer service. I didn't use things like the gym or their food/cafe/restaurant. I got a single room with a king bed. Walking into the room, I was quite surprised at how nice the room was. flat screen tv in the bedroom and living room. Also the bathroom was very spacious, with a separate area for vanity stuff. I wish I could have stayed for more than one night. It was my 1st time in Chicago so after my event (by the airport), I relocated to the downtown area to the Wyndham hotel...and i really wish i could have transported the Marriott Suites with me because it was the better hotel. read more

With being near O'Hare you really couldn't hear the airplanes at all. That's a win win in my book. It is located no where from the Fashion Outlet Mall and the Rosemont convention center. The rooms were nice and spacious with 2 TVs in the room. The bathroom have a stand alone shower and tub. The sliding doors separate the bedroom and bathroom and bathing area. I will definitely stay here again if i'm ever in the area. Just be aware that there is no concierge lounge if that is what you are used too. read more

Marriott is my favorite chain of hotel. I like this place as usual. The Suite contains a bedroom with french doors and another door connected to the washroom, shared with the living space. Living space has L-shaped sofa, ottoman, large screen tv, small work desk, sink and fridge. Lobby looks nice, and has a bar and seating areas with nice furnishing. Hotel location is very close to O'Hare airport. This hotel however, does not have indoor parking, and a lounge. read more
