I usually try to stop at this place when I am on North Arlington. I am a fan of their calzones. It has been a while since I was last here. Maybe a year?!? Something changed. I had the meat calzone (pepperoni, sausage and Canadian bacon). I think they did something different to their sauce. It is watery and has a sour taste. It made eating the calzone a soggy mess. It had promise when it came out looking nicely toasted. It was still good but the sauce was just too watery. Someone sitting next to me had some amazing looking g pasta. I might try that next visit. I took a star off because the establishment was SUPER HOT. I am not sure if they were having A/C issues or if all the walls of windows made it hot. read more

Wasn't quite the Chicago pizza I'm used to experiencing. The pie was more shallow with a few less toppings and definitely less sauce. Plenty of cheese, but it was extra pungent and sort of overpowered everything else. The restaurant was clean and had good seating. Hands down, the best pizza I've had in years. Crust: flaky but a soft bite and cooked perfectly Sauce: seasoned with love Chicken: juicy, tender and a lovely marinade Overall 10/10 I took a chance on this spot for the first time at 1am during one of my cravings. The customer service sucked! There were no customers in the restaurant on a Friday around 1:00PM. I came in the restaurant with high expectations. I left without a pizza. We will never return! The ingredients were just not that good. I also got the wings and they are frozen and they run them through the oven the pizza goes through and the skin still has a hard texture. The pizza is kind of expensive. The medium starts at $20 with just cheese. It's an additional $2 per topping. The ingredients were much like the wings and didn't taste fresh. Was driving down the street a couple of days ago and saw this location. Looked it up and saw that it had a chicago style deep dish pizza! Checked the price and it was actually reasonable. Gave it a chance and was pleasantly surprised. When it comes to Chicago style its usually a hit or miss. This one was good to my liking. Bread sticks were good and very pricey. This place did not break the bank. Location was clean. I'll definitely come back. Ordered a deep dish pie cook said it would take about 30 min it came out I'm like 15min, but there wasnt alot of people either so that might be the reason. also ordered bread sticks cheesy and pesto cheese both were great and came out warm and toasty. Used to go here for the Italian Beef sandwich, the best I ever tasted and the pizza was decent. Went there today hungry for a beef sandwich to find it was no longer on the menu. And the restaurant was sold in October. We ordered the deep dish pizza pictured on the wall, what we got looked nothing like it and it was awful. My family and I we're looking for a place to eat after a long day a Six Flags end stumbled upon this little gem. We were trying to eat at Texas Live but everything closed early or at 9pm which was a bit disappointing because the place looked amazing. So after a quick Yelp search, we found that Chicago Pizza and Pasta was still open until 10pm. The he place isn't fancy by any means, tucked inside a small shopping center/strip mall and even the place itself isn't fancy (the website makes you believe it is by the way it's designed), it we were so hungry we decided to try it anyway. Even though they are known for their Chicago style pizza, we ordered a large deep dish veggie instead, 2dozen wings, and a 2-liter soda. 20 minutes later our pizza arrived. The pizza was cooked perfectly, filling, and bursting with flavor. Even after a long day of not eating, I was done after 2 slices and a few wings. Although good, the buffalo wings could use some improvement, but the lemon pepper we're much better. Customer service was amazing as the guy who might have been the owner, checked on us frequently to ensure we were doing well and everything was okay. Top notch service, even though we arrived late and a bit after they closed. No pictures since we devoured our pizza and wings right away, but take my word for it, it looked and tasted amazing! read more

I enjoyed this meal during Covid-19. I placed my carryout order online and it was ready before I got there so easy in and out. I've eaten pizza in Milan Italy, New York, & Chicago so don't take 3 stars as a negative. I've just had amazing pizza in the places where you are supposed to have amazing pizza. This place was priced as expected the pizza hit the spot as expected and while I have had better that doesn't take away from how good the the food was. I kept it simple Chicago style with pepperoni & bacon. I will say this in a 200 lbs guy with an appetite and 2 slices stopped me in my tracks so keep in mind when ordering, your gonna get what you pay for and probably have leftovers. read more

The prices we were charged was not what was posted. The quality was very poor. The crust had no flavor, the cheese was bland, and the toppings were sparse; we counted three pepperoni. I want to support small business but not when they put out a sub-par product. I ended up tossing the pizza and heading to McDonald. Sad. read more

This place popped up and info said they did Chicago deep dish, and really curious if it could be any good. Place is strictly to go. I think they do delivery through DoorDash. No inside dining. I ordered a small Chicago pie over the phone with three ingredients, and it was ready about a half hour later. Got it home and checked it out. Six slices. I was starving so I managed to eat a couple, but after that I had a few more meals with just one slice needed. Thing is pretty massive. It was pretty good pizza too. I got plenty of toppings for what I paid. The only thing I would've wanted is more sauce. Pretty thin layer on top and honestly for my tastes I would have liked about twice the amount they put on. Not a big deal, next time I'll just make sure and ask for more sauce. Maybe a little pricey at $28, but I got at least 4 meals out of it, and there was still some left, so seems like a pretty good value if you don't mind leftovers. Pretty extensive menu. Regular pizza, lots of pasta and other items as well. They stay open fairly late, but I would suggest you call and order instead because I think they'll close earlier if they're not busy, especially on week nights. read more

I read the reviews before ordering, but I'm confused by what I read versus what I ate. Y'all aren't picky at all about pizza in Texas, because this pizza was horrible. Not only was the order sitting there waiting 10 minutes before it was supposed to be ready, but the sauce is not tasty at all, the dough is bland, and the cheese is just average cheese. We also ordered the pesto garlic bread which was soggy (probably because it sat there) and not very flavorful. Sorry, but this is not a place I would recommend. Even my teenage son wouldn't finish a piece because it was that bad. read more

I order this last night from Uber and thought it was pretty good.I had the large thin supreme with some cheesy garlic bread and a meatball sandwich.Really had no complaints.The pizza was thin and crispy the way I like it and had plenty of toppings on it.The garlic cheese bread was good but probably would be better if you ate it there and was nice and hot.As far as the meatball sandwich goes I haven't eaten that yet.I'll have it tomorrow for lunch. read more

The pizza was really good. The service was meh. The ambiance was alright. A bit stingy with the topping. Asked for a 14' pepperoni pizza and each slice had only 2. The pizza was "supposed" to be $10 and the topping $1.25 but he charged me a "customized" item for $13.50 plus tax. Almost all the napkin holders were empty. Only 1 clean cup available, he had to go in the back to find some more. read more

Had high hopes because we eat halal and this place claims all halal ingredients. While I appreciate they make the effort to serve all halal meat, the chicago deep dish pizza was very underwhelming. Anyone who has had real chicago deep dish knows it's takes a minimum 45mins to even cook it. When our pizza came out in 15 mins, we knew this couldn't be real. Sure enough it tasted reheated and the inside was not even melted properly. We also ordered calzones which weren't horrible but if you've had real calzones with good quality ricotta, these were rough. While staying @ a hotel across from Six flags we wanted pizza & the hotel recommended this place. We used Uber Eats and afternoon ordering it was delivered within 40 minutes. We ordered the large 16" supreme and it was actually pretty dang good. We also ordered cannolis that wasn't too bad but I've had better and for the $5 they charged I figured they would've been bigger than they were but ‍. I order a customized deep dish pizza fully loaded with all toppings but we only received a cheese and pepperoni pizza. We paid an extra $16 dollars for our toppings but we did not get them. When we tried to call the restaurant no one answered. Also the crust was under done and it was just overall a horrible nasty experience and a waste of time and money. So it's not 'legit Chicago style' but oh boy is this good. Cheeeeeeeeeeesy!!! Super thick cheese. Fun atmosphere. Not super extravagant or fancy but that's fine.
