Located in a convenient Mansfield strip mall (near Krogers and near border of Arlington), with plenty of parking is this family owned pizzeria. As I was born in NYC, I especially appreciate the Yankees and World Trade Center dedicated decor. Important to note, they are one of the few local pizzerias offering pizza by the slice. Love this! It does the job it's supposed to do well - there's obviously no spinning the wheel here in terms of anything crazy delicious or unique...but that's not always necessary! If you live nearby or are in the area and want a nice, pipin' hot pizza with plenty of thick cheese, pepperoni, and other toppings, then Trio Pizza & Pasta will be the perfect spot to satisfy those cravings! It's a relatively small and sparse indoor dining area - this is clearly meant for/best for picking up for takeout. When I came in with family that was ordering the pizza, I found the service to be very quick and friendly, with out pizza ready very promptly and delightfully hot & tasty! Overall, would I recommend? The place is very spacious! The employees are nice. The place is clean. The food is not that great. There is no seasoning, no flavor and the Stromboli tasted a little freezer burn so I am not sure if it was the meat inside or the whole thing! read more

Best pizza in Mansfield! A staple of Mansfield that has been around for nearly 25 years! Pizza by the slice is legit. Large pizza should be called huge instead! Trio's salad is great, but the house and ranch dressings are top notch! Hard to pick one! I get the spaghetti a lot, but the sandwiches are a good choice too. read more

I don't think there's anything about this place that makes it special, but it's good. I do find it hard to find decent pizza places that's not a chain but this is that place. For a 2 liter soda and large pizza I think we spent ~$24. We came in on a Saturday night and there was nobody inside but they seemed to be getting some phone/ delivery orders. The wait wasn't long and the pizza was yummy! read more

No flavor, bland and just disappointing. A lean cuisine tastes better then this. I ordered a slice and some lasagna and took a few bites and threw it out I will not order from here. We had been looking for New York pizza closer to home for a while. I have been reading the reviews about this place & finally gave it a try. We got take out 2 XL 1-topping pizza special ($25.99). The order was ready at pick up. Definitely generous size with generous toppings. The crusts were just right. Great value! My in-laws, who were originally from New York, approved them! I had the lunch special 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a fountain drink. Nice large NY style slices with perfect crust and sauce and pepperoni bursting with flavor. It came out of the oven after they took my order so it was nice and hot. You got parm and garlic at your table if you like. Lots of NY Yankees memorabilia on the walls with some Dallas Cowboys also. Jack FM playing in the dining area. The bathroom was very clean with both soap and hot water to wash your hands. I've seen this place many times going to the shipping shop near by but never seem to stop to give it a try. So on this rainy evening I've decided to give it a shot since I didn't feel like driving fat and waiting in line on a busy Saturday evening. Walking in a waitress sat us down and gave us a menu. The place looks like any other mama & pops place nothing fancy. On the menu there's variety of food items such as pizzas, pastas, subs & many more. We decided on fried mushrooms and pastas. I have nothing to complain about this place! I work nearby and discovered this pizza joint by myself so I thought I give it a try...Places like this is either a hit or a miss! and I'm glad this one is a hit!!! They have specials of two slices of pizza and a drink for $5 or a pizza, salad and a drink for $5 I dont think I remember the last time I bought lunch for just $5...Sounds good to me! I'm not going to complain! So I got two slices of pepperoni pizza and a drink. PIzza came out fast and crispy without being burnt! We wanted to snack on something light. We ordered fried mushrooms, fried calamari, meatballs and cheese bread. Fried calamari was crispy and delicious. Fried mushrooms was breaded and pretty good too. We are the meatballs with our cheesebread it was a great combo. Can't wait to try their pizza! read more

Ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a side salad with house dressing. Salad had a lot of wet romaine lettuce and two very thin slices of a Roma tomato and one pepperoncini. That was a bummer for $5 bucks. The spaghetti and meatballs was a joke. No flavor in the sauce whatsoever. It was like they crushed up tomatoes and heated it up. I added black pepper, a little salt, Parmesan cheese , and red pepper flakes which didn't do much for flavor. No basil, garlic, or anything was in sauce. It pooled tomato juice on the plate. They give u a little loaf of bread that has more seasonings on it than the pasta .We had had the pizza at lunch before and it was good. Then when u order at counter and pay at the same time the tablet thing asks if u want to tip. What a joke. You order at the counter and pick up your own food from the counter when they call your name. Oh, and if u want a tea for a drink it's that nasty Gold Peak like fountain tea where u choose sweet or unsweet. It was bad . I poured mine out and got fountain lemonade. I've been getting my pizza here for years, and seeing the quality of the pizza go down like this is just insulting, it used to be the best pizza ever, not burnt crust pizza. And the customer service is no better, someone I invited to eat here got yelled at for no reason when they were just trying to get some parmesan cheese! Not coming back until I eat some good food, or some good service! read more

Mansfield has a lot of good pizza places and this is definitely one. I prefer Brooklyn Pizza by a little but this one has a really interesting menu and they're very nice. We got the pizza lunch special, fried mushrooms and calamari, she also got some type of sandwich that was really good. It was also very cheap and a lot of food. Whenever I'm in working in Mansfield I come here for the lunch special. read more

This restaurant is in our back yard. I've eaten here for years but have failed to write a review. Our go-to's are- calzone, chicken piccata, clam linguine white sauce, and the chicken parm and meatball subs. This is a locally owned and the owner can be found at the oven most days. This is a BYOB if you'd like to bring in your favorite adult beverage. My hubby is from Chicago and can't seem to get enough of the specialty pizza (thick crust). I'm happy! I just picked up my XL Pepperoni Pizza from Trios in Mansfield. I love there pizza. It was made nice and fresh just like I remember. A bar area with two registers either side, line one wall, and booths with chairs on the aisle, line the other. The "music" is radio. It's loud and much of it is garbled over the noise. The first time we were there it was near closing and I asked to please turn it down as we were the only people left. Thankfully they did. This visit there were two birthdays going on and a full noisy house at dinner time. We were in the middle of things at a table. I can say, the prices are moderate and the food is generally good. I see why everyone is there on a Thursday. It's just not my ideal dining experience. Our waiter was terrific and the service was spot on. Their menu is expansive. We first ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll as an appetizer. They make the BEST spicy tuna rolls. Spicy and big, with a large portion of spicy tuna in every bite. EVERY bite. The roll is perfect. Fantastic! I always want Sashimi so I ordered the dinner with 3pcs each of Tuna, Salmon, Yellow Tail, White Tuna, and Red Snapper. It's served with miso soup and a salad. ($26.95) The miso soup is delicious. I usually sip on it as I eat the sashimi. The salad is lettuce and 1 grape tomato but there's lots of that wonderful dressing. They give you shaved daikon in every corner of the sashimi platter and I put some in my leftover dressing in the salad bowl. Crunchy yummy textural goodness for an additional palate cleanser. So good! The rest goes in my soup. None of it goes to waste. I love daikon! The platter itself was good quality except for the salmon which was not firm. Flimsy, it tasted alright but was not particularly unctuous and fell apart when you picked it up with the chopsticks. But overall, I enjoyed the platter and the other fish was very good. My spouse always orders chicken teriyaki. It's a risk. He was disappointed this time with partially charred dry chicken. His dinner was served with Hibachi vegetables and he substituted fried rice for an additional $2.50. It was also served with the miso soup and a salad ($15.95). My husband will not complain to me until the meal is over because he knows I WILL complain for him. But he left most of the chicken so I asked him. *sigh* The restrooms were large, clean and adequately supplied. The parking is shopping center parking. The service does not disappoint. Credit where it's due, the fish itself was fresh. The tuna and salmon sashimi were the highlights. 2. The Love Boat presentation looks brilliant when it arrives and makes for a great centrepiece. 3. Portions were generous, so nobody left hungry. Unfortunately, sushi is built on trust. If the very first thing placed in front of me looks unhygienic, it immediately puts me on edge. Add in inattentive service and prices that belong in a much better restaurant, and it's difficult to recommend.
