It can be nerve racking to go to dealerships large or small However Chicagoland Internet Auto is not your run of the mill divey dark shady place. It is vibrant and has very caring individuals. This is a small yet large in heart and knowledge dealership. The owner Pete is a genuine hard working, knowledgeable regular guy who takes pride in not over charging and doing whatever he can to make sure that what is on his lot is going to do right by you. I have to say that we bought the truck,but what we came away with was much more then a vechile, we came away with a renewed view on buying a vechile and dealing with car salesmen. They are all true I bought my car a Mitsubishi Outlander on March 18, 6 days later the transmission broke, the owner says that the car was in good condition when it was at the dealer. He informed me that the cost to fix the transmission was $3,500 I instantly I told him to give me my money back because he sold me a broken car. He told me that this cannot be done, I told him that I won't pay nothing and he finally decided to paid for the repair. Now today June 16 (three months later) I finally have my car repaired (I hope so) three months paying for transportation, every week was an another excuse, "the transmission the one they ordered was the wrong one" "they said it will arrive next Friday, then another Friday, then another excuse" One day I decide to enter the reviews section of this place and I read all the bad comments. And I wasn't wrong, this Mr. PETE sells damaged cars. I didn't went to court because my husband stopped me, honestly this place should be closed down. I made a report to the police, because I was already desperate. Were three months paying a car that I wasn't using and for transportation. Thank you for fixing my car (I hope so) and making my life more stressful and complicated for three long months but don't worry Pete, you won't get more business from me and of course no recommendation from my side and any of my relatives, friends ANYONE read more

I bought a Jeep Liberty from here a several months back for my daughter. The price was in line with others dealers in the area and my sales person was nice. Unfortunately, I only looked at the car in the evening, and the day I pulled the trigger to buy it, it was raining. (never buy a used car in the rain and don't do what I did) Once home and in the light of day I discovered a lot of things hidden with spray-on bed liner and a couple of oil leaks I did not see as the jeep was parked on the grass when we first looked at it and as stated earlier, it was raining the day I decided to buy it. Spray on bed liner can not fix a rusted out oil pan, but it will stop the leaks long enough to sell it. ($800 dollar repair in case you are interested) Also, bed liner sprayed on the bottom of the doors and rockers. looked decent when we bought it and now the rust is making its way through that big time. Did the dealer knowingly sell me this car with these kinds of cover ups? I can't say for sure. I take full responsibility for the purchase of this car. Honestly, I was a little rushed to purchase it. BUYER BEWARE!! Insurance they gave me didn't come through when the radiator broke two weeks after I bought the car. They don't charge tax when they transfer the title to you so be ready to get a Jeopardy Notice of Use Tax Determination and Assessment form, filling you in that you are now late in payment of the taxes about 5 months months after you buy it. I told them it was my first time buying a car and they really took advantage of me. Car is a 1999 Honda CR-V and runs fine, just wish I got it from someone else. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a car for my sons Birthday, and about 10days after we got it we took it on the expressway and it over heated. Lots of heated talk with Pete. The service men told us what was wrong with it and that Pete knew what was wrong with it and said just leave it. The car had been in the shop 2 times before we bought it (we found out after we brought it there for service). We we're told Pete does that all the time. He takes it to see what's wrong and says just leave it. This had a leak which made the car overheat. This happened on the I80 ramp getting on to 57. We had to sit there 4 hrs for a tow truck and by then the battery died so out hazzerd didn't work- and it was night. PLEASE FOR THE SAFTY OF YOUR FAMILY DONT TRUST THIS PLACE OR BUY A CAR FROM THEM. You'll end up waiting on the side of the road for a tow truck. When we called Pete to tell him he said, "I'm not paying for that!" And "I'll be fighting you on that one. Wasn't even sympathetic. They were super nice, fast, and fair with the price. When I looked at dealerships in the city I was treated (as a female) with so much disrespect. My son and I came across this business and decided to stop in while shopping for a first car for my son. We were treated with respect. Sue and Pete were both very easy to deal with and you never felt pressure to buy from them. It was clear they value their customers and are willing to work with you on prices. They both seemed honest and genuine which is hard to find when buying a car. Purchased a vehicle from this place... biggest mistake of my life!! Paid 3900 for the vehicle back in March and I'm currently at 3100 in repairs! The owner said it was a "good buy" because he knew who owned the vehicle before I purchased it.... took a day off from work to have him look into a brake light and engine problem that came on while driving the vehicle home.... even took him out for lunch.... big mistake!! He claimed HIS mechanic HAD to look at the vehicle NOT one I wanted?!?! Long story short people I wouldn't even buy a red radio flyer from this person!! Not someone you should trust and as a veteran myself I even question the military flags and other objects he has hanging off his walls... if someone of this stature is willing to sell garbage to a veteran than I question his authority to even own a business!! Up to you people .... personally I would not buy anything from this business ! People that sell vehicles to the public with SAFETY issues should not own a business!!!! Period!!!!! I bought my car from here two years ago and not only did I discover we naively paid well over what my car was worth, but I was in an accident yesterday and my driver's side airbags failed to deploy. This is the first time I've needed airbags since we bought it and thank God I found out mine failed in a 30 mph collision and not when I was on the highway in a high risk crash. My insurance company as well as my doctor at the ER were both quite concerned that no routine safety checks were provided before I bought this car. Initially, I felt safe buying from them but now I see I was mislead. I was told they did safety inspections on my car, it hadn't been in any accidents prior to me buying it, etc but one look at the Car Fax and they lied through their teeth to me and my parents. Also, when I bought the car they provided only one key with the fob but wouldn't bring the price down, so if I had ever locked my keys in the car or anything like that I would be screwed. Getting another key made with the electronic component my car needs to start would have been hugely expensive. Be safe and don't shop here. read more

The sales man my husband and I dealt with is a total hothead and horrible salesman. Went in with a check the day after test driving to pick up the vehicle we were buying( it took a day for the bank to write out the check) and the man sold the car just hours before we arrived after calling him to tell him we were late( due to court in the morning and he was told we would be by directly after to purchase the vehicle). He shook our hands and told us not to worry about putting money down the day we test drove it and guaranteed he wouldn't sell it and printed us some paperwork. I'm almost graduated from college and explained in detail how much it meant to us and what a blessing it was we found such a great vehicle for a decent price. We also explained in short detail the run of bad luck we've had with different things lately in life and he seemed genuine and acted like he cared he that we'd finally get this much needed break in life we so much needed. So I'm sorry to say this is the worst businessman I've ever met. He threatened to beat my husband up and offered to take him out by the woods and "deal" with him. I never in my life have been treated in such a non professional way when trying to purchase anything. Especially thousands of dollars on a vehicle. Do not go to this place if you're looking for an upstanding salesmen or dealership. Snake in the grass and a liar. I've never been called so many names by a car salesman for trying to buy a car off them. Bad juju and bad business practices.
