This location is inside the Altamonte Mall. I'm seeing a few reviews for drive thru or long car line...they left a review on the wrong chick-fil-a page. This is a food court, not a stand a lone restaurant. I've ordered catering from here a few times for the company I work for and operations manager, Chase, and his team are fantastic! They call me to confirm the order and location and I get a call from chase himself when the order is ready to be picked up. Everything comes neatly together in the chick-fil-a catering bags and either Chase or the members of his team will walk it out to my car in the parking lot for me. Food-wise, it's chick-fil-a...it always taste good. The tenders are piping hot when they bring them out and I've never had anything missing from my order. Good service = happy coworkers. Food came up fast and service was very friendly. You'll need to ask for any condiments and extra napkins as all the items have been moved to the back to minimize multi-touch services. Never mind that I can't stomach lines (particularly to give someone hard-earned money), but I've tried Chick-fil-A before and have been singularly underwhelmed every time. But fancying myself as open-minded, and someone who believes in second and third ... chances, I got a couple of sandwiches from them one early afternoon when we found ourselves at Altamonte Mall on cell phone business. Truthfully, it started as a bit of a lark when I said - Hey, Chick-Fil-A with hardly any line! I first got sticker shock (it's been so long!) when I found out that a simple traditional Chick-fil-A sandwich is now inching toward $5, with my wife's grilled deluxe a buck fifty more than that. There were only 3 people ahead of me, and the ordering part was quite quick. Food was delivered when they call your name, about 5-7 minutes later. Getting/eating my lunch confirmed why and how I was so unimpressed previously. It looked sloppy and tasted unremarkable - I think I enjoyed KFC more than CFA the last time I had it (and when was THAT!). I mean, kudos to the business model and the bottom line when you can sell two pieces of bread, an ugly-looking piece of deep-fried chicken with two slices of pickles for 8x your food cost, and people are lined up to buy it. Mum and I were in the Altamonte mall doing some shopping and found ourselves feeling a wee bit peckish. Decide to head to the food court and after looking at the options, the lure of the waffle fries at Chick-fil-A called to me and mum decided to also get their spicy chicken burger. I want to give a shout-out to our sever, Tatiana who was very professional and welcoming. When we got to the counter, we dithered a bit as we weren't sure if it made more $ sense to order the food as a meal or it was better cost value to get the items separate. Despite the long line building up behind us, Tatiana was patient and helpful. After we paid and we were waiting for the food, it was also very nice of the guy who was bringing the food from the kitchen, to keep updating us on the status of our order. The best however, was whoever was making the food and especially the burgers the evening we were there, because the chicken was cooked just right and the seasoning was just perfect. The line was ridiculous and it was chaos trying to get an order picked up. I felt that they were very understaffed and needed more cashiers open and more people bagging food. For being such a popular location I was surprised there was not a more effective system taking place. My chicken tasted alright but not as good as what I normally get at most Chick-Fil-A's. I am not sure exactly what was different about it but I wasn't a huge fan. Which is crazy for me to say since I used to eat at Chick-Fil-A every single week. The chicken is always just the right amount of juicy with just the right amount of crispy breading with just the right amount of post-meal, residual guilt. The employees are the friendliest bunch of employees you will EVER find at a fast food place anywhere (if anyone deserves $15 an hour THEY do over some OTHER fast food places, but that's an argument for another time)! If I could give negative 100 stars I would. We LUV Chick-fil-A, however not this location. Last Thur i ordered a Southwest chicken salad that came with a moldy grilled chicken surprise. I was in a rush and quickly went back to let them know, salad in hand and was at first rebutted. She said it wasn't chicken. She took the salad back to the kitchen and came out several mins later apologizing that it was indeed chicken and she didn't know how it got in my salad. Btw my salad had thin strips of chicken not grilled chicken chunks... I have no idea how much if any of the moldy chicken I ate. She refunded my entire purchase which was just a kids meal, salad and fruit cup and apologized profusely. She also said if I have any issues to please call the store and let them know. I felt ok with outcome hoping since I didn't think I ate any of the moldy chicken I would be ok. Fast forward to Saturday and my tummy felt a little odd during the day and by nightfall it was puke city at my house. I vomited 7-9 times... lost count after 6. Super fun managing a toddler and an infant while throwing up my insides. Needless to say I was upset that Chick-fil-A had gotten me. Sunday I felt a little better, at least no more vomiting. I called today (Monday) and spoke with a different manager on duty and she was very curt. Asked if I was refunded my money and if "there was anything else. Sorry that happened to you." I then reiterated how terrible it was to be violently throwing up. She then said well, I can let the owner and corporate know what happened, anything else you need? She never asked my name or got any type of contact information. The original manager I spoke with on thurs never relayed the issue either. This is poor customer service all around. Thank God it wasn't more serious and I didn't give it to my 3 yr old. I'm just disappointed in the lack of sincerity and customer service. I expect more from such an awesome establishment. read more

No impressed by this store. They got our order wrong on a spicy sandwich no pickle. Came with a pickle. Brought it back up and it took 12min for a new sandwich. Usually LOVE THIS PLACE love the food love their Christian ideals so it came as a very disheartening response when I was told they will not do any drink refills. They claim because of Covid 19 and they do t want to pass anything back and forth, ok I get it. So get a new cup, use a napkin even though they are all wearing gloves. And if your going to hold firm on denying they practice you should adjust your price. Which you haven done either. For a Christian organization they certainly don't practice the attitude or values when it comes to the almighty dollar. Too bad.. I'm not going to lie ... I visited this drive-thru based Chick-fil-A for the first time ever and pulled up to one of the speaker/menus and sat there for a couple minutes and no one helped me. (It said it was an "expedited lane" which was the opposite of what was going on). So I pulled out and moved over to the second lane. I ordered, and when I got to the window, I mentioned to them what happened in the other lane figuring there was a technical problem they weren't aware of. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't do it as a complaint. Wow!!! They surprisingly gave me a gift card for free food during my next visit. That is customer appreciation. This location looks as though it might be an old Checkers, since it has drive through windows on both sides and they usually move quickly. Unfortunately there is no indoor seating area, but they have little tables outside if you do want to sit down. Both times I've been there the manager was the one helping me, so I had great service and the food was great as always! read more

Worst Chick-fil-a I have ever been to, the girl had an attitude because my food was undercooked. I waited very long even though I ordered on the mobile app and several people that came after me were served before me. The nuggets for my daughter was extremely light in color and looked pink and when I brought it back to the counter she exchanged it for another that looked the same, from the same batch. I explained to her that I would not feed my child that and she said that she could not issue a refund and gave me one chicken strip fo my 4 piece nuggets. this is for the store in the altamonte springs mall in florida. i had the pleasure of speaking to the manager tyler and some of the workers here. they even brought the food to our tennis courts at our community. they are such great people, and so polite and caring. they bring the food out to you from the mall, and there food is great . we are fortunate to have such a wonderful fast food eatery in our area. great job, polite, and very great service! god bless! read more
