Rise always delivers! It's one of my favorite ways to start a Saturday. The food is always fresh, and the customer service never disappoints. My go-to order is usually the BLT and cheese tots, and they never miss. They have multiple locations, but the Winter Park location is definitely my favorite. I love that Trader Joe's is right around the corner, so I can grab a snack, do a little shopping, and enjoy the scenery of Winter Park all in one trip. Never been to a Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken before. I saw there was one in Winter Park and signed up for their rewards program. Well, guess what? They sent me an offer for a free biscuit sandwich for my birthday! Perfect timing since I was at the office that day! I walked in and asked the guy at the counter for recommendations since it was my first time. He took his time to help me decide, and I went with the Southern style. He was genuinely great and super helpful...kudos to him! He mentioned everything is made fresh, so it would take a few minutes. I waited patiently. The location is small, tucked among other restaurants and shops in Winter Park. It was very clean and well-maintained inside. I took my order back to the office (only about 10 minutes away). When I opened the bag... surprise! I was expecting a normal-sized biscuit, but this thing was twice as big as I thought. The chicken was super crispy, flavorful, and that melted pimento cheese was fire! It was seriously delicious and very filling. I'll definitely be back soon to try another biscuit...maybe something more traditional next time to compare. My experience was excellent overall, but I have to dock one point for no indoor seating. Let me start by saying the team working was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and super kind. I really enjoyed the vibe that they had. The store is a walk in and order with tables outside to eat or just take to go. So it's a pretty quick grab and go kinda place. This time I ordered the Nashville hot on a biscuit. And it was good, not great. The biscuit today was cold, dry and crumbly, and the chicken was just warm enough, and I felt that for Nashville hot it lacked spiciness of any kind. It had a great flavor but no spice level at all. I would put it at a 2. I also feel that $10.75 is a lot of money for just a sandwich. It's not small but it's not above average in portion size. It's but not wroth that price. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars over 3 is that the first time I went here the food was way better than today and the service today was excellent. We came in here 15 minutes before close (probably would have head back to the car but it was pouring rain) and the staff was awesome. Made us feel welcome to order food before close. We got a chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese on a biscuit and the breakfast biscuit with Mac and cheese and bacon. Everything was amazing. You can't go wrong with a chicken biscuit for breakfast! Rise specializes in different Chicken sandwiches and biscuits. There is no indoor seating and you order at the kiosk on the counter. They've pretty much contactless here with the ordering process. The only contact was the worker making our food called our name to pick up the food after. I got the southern chicken, a chicken fillet with pimento cheese on a biscuit. It was decent. The chicken was well seasoned. I think mine was undercooked however. First time visiting today, and I have to say the sandwiches were really good. Thanks to their free sandwich promo, I was able to try both the Hot Honey Butter and the Nashville Hot. My only complaints was that the breading didn't stick very well to the chicken breast and was falling off outside of the sandwich and the price. Other than that, the flavors were great. The cheese grits were also delicious! My only feedback would be to offer a combo at a lower price or continue the BOGO deal. This has been on FYP for some time and saved in my collection on Yelp and decided to stop by Saturday morning around 10:30am. The line was not too long but the outside seating was already filled. This place isn't hard to find and has a lot of parking in the lot behind the business. You place your order on the kiosk which is easy and there's someone to assist with questions as well. I ordered the glazed blueberry biscuit with chicken with a side of honey and an order of the seasoned tots and their special sauce. The inside is pretty small and you can watch the employees preparing your order. It took about 10 minutes but everything was hot and fresh! I didn't realize the biscuit was a glazed blueberry so I didn't even use the honey I ordered on the side. The biscuit is truly the star of the show. It was soft and buttery and the blueberry were fresh and added a fresh balance to the sweet glaze. I will definitely be back for that on my cheat day. The chicken was fresh and crispy but lacked seasoning, which was disappointing. I did use the special sauce I ordered with the tots for some flavor and it was good. The sauce is a chipotle mayo based that has a kick and compliments the chicken and tots. The tots were seasoned very well in some seasoning salt of some sort. So good. I visited a little after noon after sleeping in. I was so glad I found this place right before my hair appt. I needed something quick and good. They are open until 2PM so that is cool. You can choose whatever type of sandwich you want from the kiosk. You can get it on a biscuit or a bun. You can even get your order put into a box without it being a sandwich. Now that I think about it, you may not be able to pay with cash. The only thing I didn't like was that the staff wasn't friendly. No one even said "Hi" or " Welcome In" Only one person spoke to us because she brought the order out of the kitchen. Maybe that's how they want it (quiet. I thought the ordering process was very impersonal, don't get me wrong I don't have an issue with self service however when a handful of staff are just chatting behind the line while I do the work I feel there could be a better use of their time. I ordered the hot honey buttered chicken biscuit and my husband a cinnamon roll biscuit, I also ordered blueberry beignets to take home and iced coffee. The beverages are self serve, a small coffee bar with a couple of syrup pump bottles and sugar/creamers to add in. There is no indoor seating just a few tables outside, we waited what seemed like a long time which I take as food was made to order. My chicken biscuit was very tasty (a bit messy) but not worth the near $11 it cost! My husband enjoyed his cinnamon roll. The blueberry beignets were delicious. Coffee was nothing special. There's really little to no interaction with the team members, but if needed they are very friendly. Enjoy the nice blue and orange colors that seem to be their signature colors. While the overall sandwich was not bad, I just thought the boom book sauce would be something that popped out more or didn't resemble something I could've easily made at home. The blueberry biscuits have been having less and less glaze as of late. 6 months ago, the outside of the biscuits was white with glaze; now they taste like regular biscuits. When I lived up in North Carolina I was a regular to the original Rise. I loved it. This is nothing like that one. When you walk in you have to order on an iPad and when your order is ready they put it a locker with your name on a screen. You really don't get any interaction. The place itself is very sparse. The only seating is outside. The food was fine but it was nothing special. The tater tots tasted good but wet still cold in the center leading me to believe they were frozen.
