    Soggy chicken toast and fries
    Jade K.

Proud of them! They're getting way better! I still think they're a bit expensive but you know.. whatever. It is what it is. Chic fil a is also expensive. The chicken is nice and crispy now! The fries are hit or miss. Sometimes seasoned well and sometimes meh. The canes sauce is good. The sweet tea they have is also good. The food was way better the last few times we went so they are getting way better! Their staff is always friendly that has never been an issue. Great job guys keep it going!! Weehoo!!

    4 piece combo

Came here on Sunday night and was not disappointed. I got the 4 piece combo and it was so good. The chicken was crispy, portion was great and everything was seasoned to perfection. Fries were also good (a little soggy but it's hard to get hot crispy fries when you drive home), cole slaw was awesome and so was the toast!! And omg that canes sauce!!! Next time I definitely have to get two. The food was ready when we arrived and we were very satisfied. Happy to have this near us and can't wait to go back!

Terrible Breading Job - And cold fries

Wow. What a difference a month makes. You have one thing on your menu and you can't keep up the quality? Sorry Todd Graves, maybe you need to quit making appearances on Shark Tank saying how great you are and how you perfected and focused on one item and get on your franchise stores to deliver what you're promising. After loving my first visit, I went back and was super disappointed. The fries were cold AF and I had to go back and get fresh ones. And the breading on the chicken tenders was falling off. This reminded me of what happened at the Lake Nona location as well and I'm not sure if they're making big batches and letting them sit or what, but something is off in the process. It was super crowded as people go crazy for this place, so even trying to go back to the counter to say something wasn't in the cards. There was no sense of a manager or anybody checking up on how things are. Just deal with the crowds and serve the lines of lemmings. I figured it might be a fluke so I went again, and it happened again, breading all over the place and super duper greasy too. The tenders sitting in the grease got soggy quick too. The fries were hot at least on this visit. I don't get where people say these are the best tenders. Sure, I find the insides to be great (moist and tender), but the grease and lack of full breading coverage is terrible. Maybe it's just the Orlando locations? Or maybe they got away from their roots (and are finding cost cutting measures). It's been open a while, so they should have their stuff together by now, but it's just greasy tenders with breading falling off. I prefer the new Saucy concept, the actual KFC, Zaxby's and Cheddars to this over-hyped place.

First time at a Raising Cane's. I think it was pretty good and there are so many chicken options in Orlando it's certainly tough to stand out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was decently busy, but everything was still clean, and staff was keeping up with the customer flow. The menu was all tenders in various counts or made into a sandwich. I can respect focusing on one item to get it perfect but while good it really was not too remarkable to me. The chicken was very tender and breaded, but I found it a bit on the soft/soggy side for my liking. I understand their sauce is the star of the show, but I was not really a fan. I can say the price was more than reasonable so if you needed a basic, quick and affordable meal this would be a great option. There are so many Chicken places so this might be good for your taste.

Had to visit Raising Cane's and see what all the hype was about. Food was good and tasted fresh, but I was surprised by the limited menu. Be warned, when they say "Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers" they really mean JUST chicken fingers. Only other sides are fries, coleslaw, or Texas toast. Solid option if you're in the mood for chicken fingers and getting fast food. Their drive thru line was long but very efficient so the wait wasn't bad.

5 stars for fast casual dining! I have been to all three Raising Canes locations in central Florida. All serve up the same goodies and we have never been disappointed. However this location is smaller and in a spot that requires a little more effort to travel to if you're in East Orlando. Which keeps the place hopping but not impossible to find a table to eat. The folks here are always friendly and ready to serve! We usually get 25 fingers with four to eight sides and it never takes more than 10 minutes. With this location being fast, friendly, and convenient this is our favorite Raising Canes!

Really fresh and fast! Enjoyed the Cane's sauce and the delicious chicken tenders. Really enjoyed their food and the sauce but wished they had ranch for the tenders. Overall a good first time dining experience. The inside of the location is cute and has discoballs on the ceiling and upbeat music playing. Would like to come back for a quick meal or a snack.

The chicken tenders at raising Cane's were delicious and I love the crinkle cut french fries. The customer service was outstanding. You walk up to the counter the very fast and efficient. The restaurant was very inviting and clean and there was always somebody cleaning tables.

Nothing gets a Yelper's day going more than knowing there is a new restaurant in town which, as of yet, is non-reviewed and unseen by any other. September 12, 2024...D-Day, also known as Cane "Dog" Day has arrived in the City of Winter Park. Ever since discovering the delicious chicken fingers coming forth from Raising Cane's kitchen, I have sung the praises of the tender, lightly breaded puffs of heaven. And being as I tend to order what has satisfied me in the past...this day was no different... Yes please, "The Box Combo" for here! Four breaded chicken tenders, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and some Cane's sauce. Comfort food in its simplest and most basic iteration. Fast food does not have to mean mediocre food and Raising Cane's certainly takes chicken tenders to a higher level. The opening day line was out-the-door but, I was shocked how quickly my order came out...literally maybe two minutes after paying for my order my name was called and I was enjoying my meal. Service was first rate with both front-line employees and management making sure everything was going well. Raising Cane's...Welcome to Winter Park!

Ehhh I have to say I'm not impressed by all the hype. My godsons have been hype men for this place and I decided to give it try today. Me and hubby both agree it's not that special. I am a zaxbys girl and I will have to stick with my favorite. Service was good but food in our opinion was 3.5

Just here to add a pic. 2nd try, still good. Coleslaw was meh. Would go again but there are better tender options around. Same swift and kind service as before. They opened a new location near Altamonte Mall also. Congrats!

Cane's is classic chicken with some incredible sauce! Once you have it, you'll be craving it forever! This is a new location but the same great service, food and experience! Local charm decorates the walls and makes you feel right at home. Walk up ordering is easy, (our cashier was friendly and helpful) menu is simple, eat in or drive thru their 2 lanes for take out.

SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: 5 DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 3 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.71 Thank goodness! Finally a canes within driving distance. This makes me so happy because Huey magoos wasn't cutting it. Got to attend the opening of this phenomenal chicken tender restaurant. Live music, games, prizes, smiling faces, and the perfect Texas toast! What more could you ask for on a Thursday afternoon. Not hard to guess what I ordered because all they serve is tenders. I went with the caniac. The tenders were juicy and perfect like always. They go with the thinner crinkle fries which is amazing and of course the Texas toast is spot on as always. Thick and warm doughy bread toasted perfectly. Let's not forget their amazing lemonade. This is fast food staple in my life and I'm so happy they are near me. If you haven't had canes and love tenders you definitely need to go. Best tender product on the market.

But I had an urge to find some fried chicken that is lightly battered and this place hit the spot. Located just off of Park Avenue and Fairbanks is The Hen & Hog. Got a 6 piece fried chicken anf a few sides which consisted of mac and cheese, fries and a pickled slaw. Juicy freshly fried and ever so gently battered chicken that was crisp with every bite. Definitely some tasty chicken. I really liked the slaw that had garlic onions celery and some other items but it cut through the savoriness of the chicken. Yes, i ate all of it to the bone. Wife also got chicken and waffles which she thoroughly enjoyed. Also had fried banana peppers with a pimento spread. Pretty nice combination. Staff was super helpful. They also have wings with a lot of great sauces to try. That will be my order for next time. Cant wait to come back.

I liked the t beers (white meat) the best. Melting the mouth breast with crunchy exterior. My chicken and waffles did not really hit the spot for me. I learned I'm not a fan of open fried thighs because they were fatty and that consistency in my mouth was not appetizing; but, they were well done and seasoned perfectly. The waffle was fluffy inside and just a tad burnt outside. FYI: the syrup is kinda spicy. Pleasant interior with friendly and attentive service.

My second food truck stop along the stretch of East Colonial/SR 50 was at Papas Gourmet (Gourmet…read morePotatoes). It is run by a very sweet and personable married couple. This particular truck is probably my favorite amongst the ones I've visited thus far.. serious noshing business! The concept is a baked potato or sweet potato LAVISHLY doctored with Puerto Rican style meats and veggies. LAAAVISH. I've never been a baked potato fan, but this place has made me a believer. Every split and baked potato comes defaulted with copious amounts of melted queso and your choice of sweet or garlic butter. It's up to you if you'd like to pile on the meat and veggies. The owner made it a point to express that he throws away any unused meat that's gone stale during the day and replaces it with freshly marinated, cooked meats. My foray into Papas Gourmet included a basic baked potato (sweet potato was sold out) with melted queso, garlic butter, mixed veggies, Bistec (marinated steak) and Pernil (roast pork). I kid you not, as soon as I bit into my first fork full, I reached potato Nirvana and found myself shoveling the meal down my mouth like Garfield does with lasagna. There was enough potato and ingredients there to feed 2 people HANDILY. All for $6.00! I was so entranced by the savory, melt in your mouth flavors that I devoured the entire thing on my own. Just like the Papas Gourmet icon (a personified potato sprawled out on a couch) I was incapacitated for hours on my couch, blissed out and content. I encourage everyone in Orlando to visit this joint at least once. Be prepared, because it will knock you on your behind once you're through eating. For those of you who love a challenge, Papas Gourmet also has a Papa Extrema (Extreme Potato); which is a potato of your choice with ALL the fixings. Yep that includes chicken, turkey, steak, beef, ham, bacon, pork, sausage, cheese, butter, sour cream and mixed veggies.. yikes!
