Alright, let me start by saying that the worker at the cash register was probably one of the best fast food workers I have encountered. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, but he was wonderful! This was our first time trying PDQ and he was helpful, friendly, and excited. He gave us good recommendations and even let us try some additional sauces. The food came out super quick and the food was surprisingly good too! I got the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich with fries, and the PDQ Sauce and Creamy Garlic Sauce. The sauces are tasty and there is a good variety of them. These are the only waffle fries I like because they taste like more than just oil, they're also salt and peppered. Their other sides like the Mac and cheese and Parmesan broccoli are great. The service is always great with helpful employees at every location. Tables are always clean and there are handwashing stations in the restaurant in addition to the bathrooms. The drive thru is nice to use when you have a busy day. I very much enjoyed this quick meal at PDQ. I'm never disappointed with the chicken since I have it tossed in my favorite sauce of theirs, which would be the buffalo blue. I also get a side of garlic Parmesan sauce, which together is a perfect blend. Just because the staff there are also always so kind. I always get a nice girl that complements my style on my car. I always take the drive-through, but I would assume if I ever, ate inside the atmosphere, I would be very welcoming. The only reason why I rated the review of four is because of their french fries. Every time I haven't eat french fries, and never hit how I wanted to. It feels like there not enough potato, if that makes sense. PDQ has some of the best chicken in the business and I happily choose it over the others depending on my mood and what I want to eat. This location is clean with a very open and airy dining room. They also have about 8 tables outside fully covered and with fans. The employees were gracious and provided prompt service. I got the limited time 4 rivers BBQ chicken sandwich. I love 4R's sauces and this was no exception. Sweet and a bit tangy. Perfect on the sandwich. It also Included cru cry red cabbage, guacamole which gave it some creaminess (and sloppiness), and a slice of some kind of cheese (pepper jack?) which I couldn't taste at all. Had read about PDQ on some internet listicle about the best chicken places. Yes. Food quality was suburb. Technically a fast casual - it has the food of a better casual dining place disguised as a fast casual. The chicken sandwich had a thick piece of real chicken perfectly cooked.....real chicken breasts are not flat and uniform thickness. The spicy chicken was spicy - say what yo mean and mean what you say. The salad had better quality produce than many casual dining salads and was served in a real bowl - not some throwaway item. Claiming the promotion was easy. But who eats wings without fries. They offered a catering size waffle fries for about $12 I believe but I opted in for two small baskets. In hindsight would of make the move so your welcome . Best part of the PDQ for me are the sauces, we'll I love the sink in the dining room so you can wash your hands without going to the restroom. The Altamonte Springs location is consistent in freshness, taste and quality every single time. Customer service is on par too and they accommodate your requests without issue. I wasted my hard earned rewards meal at the Davie location, they remade it and it was still poorly executed! I've one subpar experience at the Altamonte location (food related) and they redeemed it with superior effort. I've been meaning to write this for some time. Not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat but I don't consider this quality food. This is a place where you go to have one of your off days from your diet. Although the salads are pretty good and healthy for you as compared to many of the other items on the menu. One of the things that I don't like is the application on fried foods. I'm only guessing this but it could be the oil that they're using. The spicy chicken sandwiches spicier than Chick-fil-A it's on the level of the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich. This is good but Chick-fil-A has better pickles I can always add Pete's hot sauce to my chicken. Staff is friendly and the prices are inexpensive. I like the thick shakes. Service is quick and the store is clean. But if I want a chicken sandwich I am more likely to go to Chick-fil-A. My friend suggested we come here for a quick bite for dinner as I was visiting Florida for the first time ever. I agreed and do not regretting coming here at all! The food is amazingggg. I got the 5 chicken tenders with zucchini fries which were both incredible. The chicken tenders were sooo tender - I'm gonna say it - better than Chick-fil-A Not only that, but the service was equally incredible. So many people came to check up on us to make sure everything was going well throughout our meal and even offered to clean our table for us. My son ate tenders, two spicy and two regular. He asked for some honey butter to dip in (as opposed to one of the normal sauces). The crew obliged. My son was stuffed after only four tenders. That isn't normally the case. He couldn't even touch his fries because he was too full. I had a crispy chicken sandwich. It was good! Nice and tender and not overwhelming with the mayo. The waffle fries were not available due to supply issue, so the straight fries were put in their place. They were good, nothing spectacular- nice and hot and a pretty big portion. It was a little over $19 for the two of us, so a pretty fair deal. If you're in need of a quick meal, by all means go their way. The biggest qualm about this particular location is getting out. The way it's positioned on the street; the traffic flows one direction- so if you need to go the opposite direction, it's a little hassle. I'm not usually a fan of pimento, but my boyfriend's pimento sandwich was something I would have ordered myself! I have been to this location a handful of times since they opened and I'd say it's a new, solid option in this area for your chicken tender or sandwich fix. I haven't had anything bad here. A few of my favorite menu items so far include the Honey Butter Chicken sandwich, Totchos and zucchini fries. I think their regular fries are pretty good too. My husband loves their Buffy Bleu sandwich as he is a buffalo chicken lover. They also have an array of dipping sauces, I tried a few of them and I absolutely love the honey BBQ and honey mustard sauces. Inside the area is spacious, fairly clean and family friendly atmosphere. The customer service has been on point each visit, both dining in and drive thru. They have the endless soft drink selections along with fresh lemonade and a variety of iced teas. Or if you're in a more desert mood, the milkshakes here are also good (mint Oreo is my fave). PDQ is overall a pretty good fast food choice. For me it's not my FAVORITE of all but, I like to come here for a change in menu and flavor options. I found a coupon for this place in a local flyer, so decided to give it a try. I went early, just before lunch. The coupon was good for a free combo with purchase of another, so I figured what the heck, half price, seems like a deal. I ordered the chicken club with fries and a drink. I also got the 4 piece tenders with tots to go. The club was grilled, with a good amount of avocado and two strips of bacon. It was okay for half price. The fries were nice and hot and had the skins on them, which I like. The iced tea was infused with something, I forget, razzzberry or something. Why can't places just make regular iced tea anymore? After I got home, I didn't want to stick the tenders and tots in the fridge, because I don't like the way cold chicken taste, even if reheated. It has a funk if you ask me. Perhaps it stems from my old days in the late 60's, as a kid and trying to enjoy a frozen Swanson TV chicken dinner, when the only thing good, was the peas and that little cake. Mind you, this was before microwave ovens. Anyway, the tots were just that, tots, like the kind I had in middle school. The tenders were pretty good although the breading was soggy by now (about 20 minutes after cooking) and was falling off the strips. I got the buffalo and chipolte bbq sauces, which were pretty good. All in all, the food was decent, especially for half price. I don't know that I would return without a coupon. PDQ to me is similar to Chik fil A but less crowded and same quality, good tasting chicken. I had the Cali Club meal this time with tater tots and green tea. The Cali club tasted wonderful.
