I stopped by Wingstop recently and ordered the Parmesan and Lemon Pepper wings, and they definitely hit the spot! The flavors were just as good as I remembered, but I did notice the wings have gotten a lot smaller. Normally, I can only eat about 5 wings, but this time I ate almost all of them because of their smaller size. The prices have also gone up, which is understandable these days, but it's something to keep in mind if you're used to the old prices. On top of that, they forgot the veggie sticks and the dipping sauce I ordered. I visited the location located in the Uptown Altamonte Town Center, which is located just off of the I-4 Freeway and State Road 436 in Altamonte Springs. Parking is free and widely available. Wingstop shares the lot with the neighboring businesses. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the interior, the tables needed to be wiped down and the trash taken out (it was overflowing,). The staff members seemed impatient and careless, although it WAS very busy, so they must have been a bit stressed. That being said, the food was barely warm and did not seem freshly made at all - especially for the price. I ordered the all in bundle (pretty sure it was $22.99), which comes with 16 boneless wings (I got Louisiana rub and hickory smoked bbq). It also comes with six tenders (I got three plain and three of their hot honey rub, which I've heard amazing things about. It also comes with a large fry. I asked for them to be well done. When I arrived they were finishing boxing up my wings and I saw her scooping fries, so I already knew they were not well done. I decided to give wing stop another try because it keep showing up on my for you page on tik tok lol. Boy should I have left it in the past where it was. First things first lets talk about the customer service. The two ladies that were working there were eating/on their phone when I walked in. There was a customer there before me sitting and I dont even think they started making his food. There were only 3 people working which I dont know if that's normal or not but I asked how long the wait was and they said 15min. I waited over 45min for SIX wings and fries. 45min for such little food is absolutely ridiculous and then the wings were dryer than the Sahara Desert. Absolutely no sauce was even on it it was just dripping grease. It looked like almost no one had on gloves either while handling food minus one person who has one glove on ONE HAND. The bottom of the fridge with the sauces in it looked broken and the appliances need a good scrub down. The fries and the ranch were surprisingly flavorful and good but for a place named wingstop you would think the wings would be good. My other issue is I dont know if they push online orders over what they called a "walk in" but it was just me and one other guy all of a sudden 4 people are getting their food before either of us. We were there two nights ago for 20 boneless wings, a large fry and two dipping sauces for only $16.99+tax and I had 5 wings tossed in lemon pepper and 5 in Cajun sauce, while my partner tried the spicy Korean BBQ sauce. This is the best Wingstop in area. I live in Sanford but I drive an extra 20 minutes to go to this one because the Sanford location is absolutely terrible. I order online and when I arrive my food is always ready or is ready within a few minutes. The store is clean and the drink station is stocked, the soda machine is never sticky. The staff always greet me at the counter and they are well groomed and polite. You can tell the kitchen is busy but they never neglect the customers in the lobby. The wings are always good. They taste fresh and never like old oil. Never under or over cooked. I get fries without seasoning and they always taste fresh. At the Sanford location you can tell they just put the old fries back in the oil to wash off the seasoning. Yuck. Honestly there have been a few visits where the wings were too small, the wait was longer, or something was slightly off. Its still a Wingstop so it's not always perfect and closer to a 4-star review. So after my first unpleasant experience, I decided to give them a second chance (I always do this ) I mentioned to the manager that they got my order wrong the last time, her response was to give me a "Deer in headlights look" and not a word of apology - so much for customer service!
