I'm not sure I've ever given a Chick-Fila a three-star rating (usually, 4 or 5 stars), but there is a first time for everything. The fact that at the time of this writing it's currently sitting at 2.5 starts should be pretty strong hint. So, the reason I'm going with 3 stars is that the inside of the restaurant looked like disaster. There was stuff all over the floors, the tables weren't clean, the trash need to be taken out and the condiments needed to be refilled. It's really hard to explain how much of a mess this place was. I've been to a lot of Chick-Filas and I've never seen one in such bad shape. To be fair, my food tasted just fine. I just wish I hadn't decided to eat in the restaurant. I don't see myself coming back and eating inside any time soon. But the drive thru might be an option. Either way, I'd try to check out another Chick-Fila first. The jury is still out for the verdict of this store's customer service. I understand that "staffing shortages" are extremely commonplace in the food industry, as well as other industries, but the Drive-Through is almost always a nuisance. I've heard of other Chick-fil-A's drive-thrus taking up public streets and bothering traffic patterns in other states...but it looks like our very own in southwest Amarillo is just as problematic! I always prefer Chick-fil-A service to other fast food restaurants, but ordering on the app for drive-through or curbside is not feasible at this location. 1) Curbside has not been available the past several months I've ordered on their app at this location. 2) The drive-through line rarely stays in the parking lot but most often trickles to the street. If you plan to get food at this location, always be prepared to go inside! A sheriff's deputy was moving traffic out of the way on a public street as they were waiting in the drive-through line... but he didn't stay there the entire time, so alas -cars kept coming back and impeding traffic. Anyway, while this location is closest to my house - I will still visit the Georgia location more because there is not a traffic problem when ordering and receiving food from your vehicle. Lesson learned: I'll only eat inside if coming here. read more

I love chick fil a so much it's my favorite place ever. But I went to chick fil a last night, going through the drive through, the young man was very nice. Then I get to the window and the young lady wearing glasses who goes to AHS, gave me my food. She was extremely rude. And for that I am rating it a 1 star. I said ma'am can I get a straw please, she rolled her eyes and got me a straw, then I looked in the bag and saw that I was missing French fries, so I said ma'am I think we are missing French fries, she gave me the meanest look, rolled her eyes, didn't say anything, walked away, then came back and rudely handed me my fries. THEN, we were missing our ranch, so I said ma'am we are missing our ranch, she rudely handed me the ranch. We had also ordered 5 ice cream cones and I asked for those she stormed off and finally got them to me. Then we were driving off and realized we didn't get our chick fil a sauce, so I pulled back and asked for some and then man was very nice and got me some. I HAD ORDERED ALL OF THIS, and they literally forgot everything. Not to mention I got grilled nuggets and got half way across town and they didn't give me a fork. What the heck. Normally we give Chick-fil-a a "5" rating but today was one of maybe two times ever that we have been dissatisfied with the service and the product. We went for breakfast, and ordered two "hash brown scrambles", entrée only. In the past, when we have ordered that, we are given a small bowl filled about ¾ full with a combination of scrambled eggs, hash browns, chicken pieces and cheese. Instead, the young woman behind the counter simply looked at us a bit confused and then walked over to what appeared to be the manager. He came over and asked us again. We felt chastised when he told us that we need to clarify whether we want that in a bowl or a burrito (which apparently is a new option). Isn't that the cashier's responsibility to ask us if we want that in a bowl or burrito? Then we received our bowls, less than half full (and I had 3 pieces of shredded cheese in mine). During our meal, the manager asked people around us how their meal was but never asked us. We love Chik-fil-a but if this was our first time, we would never be back. read more

Great place to stop for food! We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, 2 Mac and cheeses', fries, and lemonade. The website is very neat and secure with ordering your food. The staff was very fast with our food. They made sure the order was ours by saying our name of the order out loud. We drove back and ate. I had 1 of the chicken sandwiches, and it tasted excellent! I also tried the Mac and cheese, tasting fabulous!!! The problem was that the atmosphere was a bit noisy when we picked up our food. The outside and inside are nicely decorated. This place remodeled and still didn't fix the traffic pattern around it and their drive thru line backs up and blocks traffic flow in a very busy street! They always get our order wrong and trying to get it fixed is always an issue. So we just don't go there anymore. I miss being close to the one on Georgia. Don't go here. You'll leave with a bag full of tears and disappointment. This is possibly the worst Chick Fil A I've ever visited and I've experienced some bad ones. Your order will be wrong, your fries will be ridiculously salty (even when you ask for salt free fries), you won't get any sauces, and your drinks will leak. I had the luxury of having my drinks leak onto my bag of food so that when I grabbed the bag while exiting my car, all my food fell onto the floor and into the street. There's nothing more devastating than driving for 9 hours, picking up your food before getting to your hotel, and then having that bag of food explode everywhere because the bottom of the bag got wet. I wept. Fortunately, the salad and sandwiches we ordered fell IN my car so those were spared. The fries? Nah. They flew in the most dramatic, slow-motion fashion I'd ever seen. After crying for 10mins, I scooped up what fell in my car and took the fries and the wet bag back to the restaurant. Still devastated, I explained how the bag was wet and my fries fell and I'd like new fries. The guy at the counter, let's call him Dylan, looked at me like I was some bum trying to steal fries. It wasn't until the dude behind him told him how to ring up the fries as a replacement that Dylan decided to help me. I didn't catch the friendly dude's name, but whoever you are Thank you. I was clearly not having the greatest day and you noticed and helped me. As for Dylan, I've got 2 fingers for him. After the salt free fry replacements were ordered, I waited for nearly 10mins because Dylan forgot to check on their status. From the sound of it, they'd been ready a good while ago. This location however missed it completely! The three stars is strictly because my order was correct which is obviously the main goal. Usually, everything is perfect. However, it wasn't the case today. I don't get how you don't understand what lite ice means and that I wanted. How does fill the cup as full as possible with ice, and oh yeah, put Dr. Pepper in the cup translate to what I ordered. food & service is always wonderful. However, unless you're willing to wait 30 minutes for your food I'd go elsewhere.

A few things went wrong during my visit to this location, all of which will deter me from returning: 1. Subpar quality: my grilled chicken sandwich did not taste like the many I've had in many other of the same establishments 2. Missing sandwich baggie/holder that usually comes with the GCS. 3. Missing ketchup sized baggie that comes with the sandwiches (chick fil a sauce) 4. I was more courteous to the cashier than he was to me... 5. Superfood side not even halfway of the container 6. Waited 45 min for shit services the guy read back my order and they still ducked up like y'all must be mentally Challenged

By far, the worst experience, ever, at a Chick-fil-A. On average, we eat at the 'Fil-A once a week at home. Not to mention that I bring 'Fil-A food to customers at least once a month (20 to 30 breakfast biscuits). Lets start with the service time. When we saw the line for the drive-thru, about four cars deep, we parked and went inside. The young lady behind the counter made a heart-felt attempt to take our order. I believe she was trying, but I know we repeated each item two or three times, sometimes well after we thought that we had moved on to the next item,. This was an order to feed six people....Really. Did anyone train her to interact with the public? There was a manager having a conversation with another employee nearby,...yes, standing, nearby. No effort to help our cashier, No effort to get the lines moving, either inside or for the drive-thru. Needed a vanilla shake. Small problem. Machine was broken. At this point, it was expected. Was Thursday night EVERYONE's first shift at this location? As we were waiting for our order, I noticed the line for the drive thru was now backed-up into the street. ...Manager continuing with the conversation. One major problem now, my car was trapped with a half-dozen cars behind it. When the food came out, it was contained in two small bags....for six people. Hmmm, how did they fit all of that into two bags, including the boxed salad and boxed chicken salad sandwich? Well, after fifteen minutes, we had the food. (Fast Food?, not) As I tried to get out of the parking spot, I noticed something very interesting. A Toyota Land Cruiser, which had been in front of me when I pulled in to the drive-thru, had advanced just four spots while I was inside. I now felt bad for the family in the Toyota and those behind them. They probably would not see their food for another 15 minutes and were trapped in the line...No way out. I am grateful to the employee in the parking lot who found a way to get us out of the line and headed back to the hotel. This only added ten more minutes of waiting for other vehicles to move. Several wiser customers backed out of the drive-thru and were seen driving away. Much smarter, much savier than us. I was able to get the vanilla shake from the Whataburger down the street. Took about two minutes from competent servers. Five Stars for Whataburger on Coulter! So how was the food after the drive back to the hotel? FLAT Chick Fil A sandwich (through the wonders of modern compression technologies), Cold Fries, No fork for the salad. Lemonade was good...Maybe the reason for the one star. To the franchise operator of this location, please pull your register records to confirm the transaction volume for what should normally be a busy time of the evening. This will confirm the accuracy of this post. Sir or Madam, you have a problem. Some of us will never return. This is obviously a management and training issue. Both were absent during our visit. Now this one is gonna hurt, Mr. Truett would be embarrassed by your operation. We will continue our patronage of other Fil-A's. Just not this one. read more

I absolutely love this Chick-fil-A and the staff there. Majority of the time it consists of the same people every time I go. This last time I went I was getting lunch for my daughter to take to school, and my luck was I reloaded my Chick-fil-a card, and the app kicked me out and then wouldn't let me log back in. I typically use Samsung pay and didn't bring my wallet, but it wouldn't work when I arrived. I was crunching with time and couldn't figure out how to pay for it. In the end, Hershey, one of their employees helped me get it paid for and out in time for my daughter's lunch. THANK YOU! I ordered a large order from this Chick--Fil-A for company I had at my house. I ordered through Uber Eats. This store forgot to put the large bottle of sauce in that I paid for. The manager working on 8/4/21 refused to rectify this order and stated I could only get help through Uber Eats even though her store has delivery services. I cannot get ahold of my sweet Uber driver to go back to this store when it wasn't even his mistake. How unfortunate that this manager cannot right the wrongs hers staff made. read more

Use the mobile app and order it, walk over and it's always fresh and ready soon as I walk in the doors, greeted every time with a smile and hello. I ask them to draw stuff on the bag just for fun like dogs, cat, Mario, chicken, Lebron James, etc. They always pull through and never disappoint. The entire team at this chick-fil-a is amazing! We have placed catering orders to eat in the store for a busload of 40+ teenagers while traveling through Amarillo last year and this year while on our church ski trip. Their entire team has greeted us with a smile, hot food, a section of the restaurant reserved for us with our food laid out buffet style, and unbelievable service both times, going way above and beyond. They have totally spoiled us as we stopped at another chick-fil-a on our drive last year assuming we would get similar service... not even close.
