I have never been to a Chick-Fil-A this mediocre. First, they need to get rid of the double drive-thru lane because they constantly get things mixed up and it is a total nuisance during peak breakfast and lunch hours. Then, they cannot get names right to save their lives. I understand that the busy nature of food service makes it impossible to get this stuff right every time. Very unfriendly staff. We got two sandwiches and a fry and drinks. The fries were cold and small pieces out of the bottom of the basket. I would give this Chick-fil-a location is difficult to get to because of parking. The lines are long as well. However, my experience is always fantastic. Yes, you may have to wait but the food is always hot and correct. Not to mention the food is delicious. And then, there is Curtis. Curtis is the most fantastic attendant in any Chick-fil-a restaurant (and I have been to quite a few)! Curtis will give you mats, maps and hand wipes. But, it's not just that. He does everything with a smile. He is so friendly and on top of everything in the dining area. With two small children an extra pair of hands to grab something or refill a drink is invaluable. I gave this Chick-fil-a four stars for service, but considering the fantastic service from Curtis, this location is definitely 5 stars!! I usually like this chick fil a, but lately it is extra slow. I came last week and the girl taking orders just stared at me annoyed until I just said my order. Also, the owner is sometimes there at lunch "directing" traffic. I only know it's the only because one time I drove right past him thinking he was a jerk trying to direct the cars (he was not pleasant). When I told the people at the window they said he was the owner. I suggested he wear a chick fil a shirt to show he works there. I came here with my cousin yesterday. We both are a big fan of the food. But the customer service was amazing. Such nice people working there. When my cousin and I sat down to eat a really nice older man came up to us with a huge smile and gave us mints and a wet napkin which made us feel welcomed. Walk indoors and service is quick-- even with a line, it always moves fast. This location has been open one week and I experienced no kinks, hiccups, or missteps. I've got a location closer to home which I frequent often and have been to many Chick-Fil-As up and down the I-95 corridor. Everyone is just so kind and warm and agreeable at these other locations. The customer service has basically been non-existent at the new Annapolis location. Unlike the warm, personable individuals that I typically encounter at the register at other Chick-Fil-As, the employees at this location are majorly unfriendly. While getting a refill at other locations is no big deal, the staff members at this location look like they're being put off by such requests. Staff here needs to be better trained. I never thought I'd give chick fil a bad review, but this perticular location always gets my order wrong. I usually do the mobile order app and for some reason they are always missing something from my order. I had never said anything, because I try to be nice, but i went today after work i did the mobile order like i usually do I order a regular chicken sandwich with a large fries and a milkshake. I went in and the lady kept saying that she didnt find my order under my name after i had even showed her my order number. She still wouldnt give me my food as she "couldnt find it in the system" she than realized that some other worker had already pulled aside the order for me she gave me the bag and didnt even say sorry for the wait. When i opened my bag I proceeded to eat it and it turned out they gave me a spicy sandwich and im alergic to spicy food. I got an instant rash around my mouth and my tongue got numb. I stopped at this particular Chick-fil-a after a state semi final game. Our team decided to stop and eat. We were in and out in about 7 min considering the fact that they had to make about 30 orders! The service was amazingly fast. For example, I was ordering my food and about to pay and my food was already ready for me! Today I visited the chick-fil-A in Annapolis on Somerville rd., the one I normally visit. However, today was different. I placed my order through the One app. I pulled up to the restaurant and selected I had arrived. The parking lot was full so had to wait for the curbside pickup spot to become available. Shortly after, I was able to obtain a spot in front of the restaurant. I then sat and waited. As I waited I saw a brown skin woman (I hate referring to people by skin color but I do not have names for identification)peering out at me, the same woman who dropped an order off to the previous car. I also noticed no line inside. Then about 2 minutes later a woman who appeared to be a manager look out as well. My guess is they either didn't know I was there or hadn't started my order yet and were rushing it. Todays wait was longer than usual but not extremely long. Finally the Caucasian/white woman that appeared to be a manager in a blue shirt and red tie comes out with my order. She presents it to me as a spicy chicken sandwich, large fries, and Medium lemonade. I then replied, oh, that was supposed to be a Large lemonade. She then says to me and I quote "Well your order said medium". She then hands my fiancé the bags through the driver side window and walks away. It seemed to me as if she had an attitude. For what, I'm not sure. It made me so uncomfortable. I was about to ask if I could exchange for a large, but I was so shocked and kind of appalled that I said nothing. I would have paid the difference just to purchase a large had she waited or asked if she could do anything about it but she didn't. She walked away with no care to fix my order. By her behavior it seemed as though it was not "Her Pleasure" perhaps that is why she didn't say it! She is a poor excuse for a manager and a terrible representative of this company! read more
