I have been waiting for this day. Chick-fil-A (Aurora) opened today and I made sure to get a chicken breakfast sandwich on my way to the train station. I did the drive-thru and the service today was amazing. I'm guessing they are super staffed up today for the opening but I hope the service stays this fast. My sandwich was hot, the cashier took my money and promply gave me the currect change, and another handed me my food. I love their nuggets and strips and the sweet tea! Yum! I think I'll have to make a trip through the drive-thru again on my way home. This is so dangerous that it's on my route to/from work but I am SOOO happy!! =) I think my husband is happy too b/c now he doesn't have to get it for me in Wisconsin! We ordered from the drive-through menu. We noticed a video camera of the person taking our order. That was pretty cool. Chicken Sandwich (on a toasted and buttered bun) Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe (Super spicy with fresh lettuce, tomato and Pepper Jack cheese). ... and my daughter munched on their waffle potato fries dipped in honey mustard sauce. I grew up with CFA, so Im glad they finally came to Chicago. They only have chicken so dont think you will get a variety. The good thing is that they use chicken breast only for all their meat! I do not like fat and dark meat so this is a plus for me. The do cook in peanut oil so if you have an allergy be warned! When you want a chicken sandwich or nuggets this is the place. I do love their yogurt as it is topped with fresh strawberries and you can add crushed oreos to make into a dessert. This is the busiest ive seen, however im sure because its new to the area. Most CFA's calm down and I hope they do because all the regular stores keep their sauce out and I do not like having to wait to keep asking for sauce. Honestly, I don't know what kept me from trying out this restaurant, but I was a fool for so many years. So recently I decided to finally give Chick-Fil-A a shot. I wasn't sure on what to order but a lot of people recommend the spicy chicken sandwich, so that's what I ordered! Keep in mind I was in the drive thru, so for the actual interior of the restaurant I can't really say, but I'm sure they keep it clean. But back to the food! The first thing that I enjoyed, was how they already put the straw in the cup for you! But leave the wrapper at the top. And I think it's amazing how the sandwich was so plain ( Buns, Chicken, and pickles) but it was so freaking good!! I love the taste to the spicy chicken! Literally delicious but I honestly don't know which I like more, The sandwich or the fries. The fries are delicious, and I love how they have that fresh natural taste. It's been a few years since I've had Chick-Fil-A since I've moved to Naperville. The first week it opened, I went on opening day, the day after, and that weekend. The drive thru service was ridiculous, there's a monitor that lets you see the person taking your order. Mine was a young girl that was uber nice and spoke to me as though we knew each other! I ordered my meal and asked for sweet tea, she politely asked if I wanted a lemon. And when she asked if I wanted any dipping sauces, she suggested the Chick-fil-a sauce, which was delicious!! It's a combination of honey mustard and bbq. The fries aren't your standard cut, they're waffle fries!! And they taste amazingly good when cold! I rarely get chick-fil-a but decided to stop here today, since they are always so pleasant. But not today. The cashier at the drive thru was not friendly. When I looked in my bag to make sure everything was there I let her know they were missing the sauces I ordered. They way she looked at me was like I was bothering her? Eat mor chikin!? Ok!! To be honest, I wasn't feeling over the top excited about the new Chick-Fil-A but I knew many people were by how constantly it was busy. So, I decided to wait a while to try it out... Maybe I chickened out a little when I opted for the drive thru instead of going inside. But my thought was if I didn't like it in the comfort of my car, I wouldn't WANT to fight the crowds to go inside. The line was semi long but it moved quickly. The server was friendly and helpful...and I could see her on a video screen! There were actually several things on the menu I wanted to try, so I will be going back again. When I got to the pick up window, there were heaps of helpers and staff. I could tell they were prepared for the crowds. I appreciated that because while it could have been chaotic, it really seemed like they were working together, enjoyed their jobs and wanted to help. I left feeling excited about having another option in my area for a quick bite to eat. I would go back for any meal of the day, since I'm curious about their breakfast menu but first on my list of things to try it the chicken strips (so I can try the dipping sauces) and the shakes! read more

We went here opening day and a few times since. I love CFA - the staff is so nice and friendly and service is great. I love the sweet tea and waffle fries and the traditional chicken sandwich is my favorite. My bf likes the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe but it's a bit too spicy for mee. The Chick-fil-A sauce is great with the fries. For hot, fresh food and good service I think it's worth every penny. I really want to try their milkshakes. read more

This review is for the Grilled Chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets. The grilled chicken sandwich was just okay, nothing to rave about. IMO. it taste like most fast food grilled chicken sandwiches. As for the chicken nuggets, it's not good at all. I was thinking it was gonna be like McDonald's, BK sorta nuggets. Not even close, it;s more like tempura nuggets to me. A breath of fresh air in the word of fast food. Fresh and delicious food cooked in healthy oil with honest ingredients you can taste. I love the chicken strips and sandwiches. The company seems to really care about food quality and customer service. It's about time. As for the slightly higher prices.... If you shop at Whole Foods (I do often) you understand that you get what you pay for. Yes, it may be hard to taste the difference but knowing you are getting a healthier sandwich is worth the price. The oil is better, the meat is better and the sauces and veggies are better and fresher. This extra attention costs money and hence the menu does reflect that fact. It's not organic but it is at least better than many of the other brands of fast food out there. read more

I've been three times so far during somewhat off hours - the chicken sandwich is very good but nothing to wait 30 minutes for. Major concern - No employees have their hair restrained in any ways. I love Chick fil A. By far the best chicken sandwich and the waffle fries are great. I also love that this location hosts so many family events and offers free food a LOT. The indoor playground is a hit with my kids. It's clean and safe and I can sit and chat with my husband, enjoying a meal in peace while they go play, but I can still keep an eye on them. Everyone was talking about the new restaurant opening up by the mall. I know i needed to check out this place that was so amazing. It was late one night after a cross country meet that my friends and I decided to finally put this place to the test. The first thing we noticed as we pulled closer was the extremely long line of cars coming out of the parking lot. Instantly I had changed my mind about eating there, lots of people means there will be lots of time waiting for our food. My friends had convinced me we needed to go. I'm sure glad they did! Once we walked inside I saw a dinning area filled with people as well as employees who were cleaning up very quickly to make more seats available. We got in line to order, expecting to be standing awhile, but we were wrong. They had plenty of cash registers open that the line moved fairly quickly. The one problem we had faced was seating. There were so many people there and not enough tables. I understand we came at a busy time of the day and it is a new restaurant but I think a larger dinning area would help greatly with the crowd issues. After we found a place to sit, a couple of us went up to wait for our food. I found everyone standing by the registers waiting for their food was both crowding and difficult to get the food out faster. I think they could create a better system for delivering food to the customers that does not require so much space. The food made up for all of the flaws of the space and seating though. I ordered chicken strips and fries. They were better than any other chicken strips I have ever had. I could tell it was quality meat not the unknown mystery chicken you usually find in fast food chicken. My friend had gotten a strawberry shake which was phenomenal as well. It was creamy, blended to perfection. Overall the food was excellent, I did feel almost rushed to get out because all the running around done by the employees to clear off the tables as quickly as possible so another group could sit. The building decorations along with the cheery staff try to create a traditional southern restaurant. I ordered the chicken sandwich, the service was very quick. I have to say that I did not like the service very much. The staff was always interrupting me when I was eating and i found the overly cheerfulness of the staff to be very annoying. Apparently every time you say "thank you" they have to say "it was my pleasure". This seemed a little over the top and fake to me. The food was pretty good. The chicken was tender and freshly made. It was better quality than most fast food restaurants I have been to. I think the french fries might have been overly seasoned a little, but they were still good. I recommend this place to any chicken lover, but I think people would find it more enjoyable to pick up their food and eat at home. read more

I was really excited when i saw a Chick Fil A open up near my home. I accidentally stumbled upon one when i was vacationing in the south and had fallen in love every since. So far this location has been outstanding. Great food for a fast food restaurant, but by far the best milk shakes in town.
