My first Chick-Fil-A experience was tonight for dinner. I've never seen a fast food place sooooo full and busy. So this is the hot spot on Friday night?! The service was fast and friendly. Most of the seats were packed, but the constant flow of customers made it OK for us to find seats. The food was actually good too! I'm looking forward to coming back to try a shake. Service & Staff: It was crazy busy, but there was plenty of staff. A cashier stood at every register, there was 1-2 people on the floor asking to refill people's drinks, and lots of staff were outside in reflector vests assisting the long drive-thru line. Our particular cashier was friendly, polite, and easily answered our first-time-customer questions. Food: I had the 8-piece chicken nuggets meal. The nuggets were lightly breaded and tasted great, but were super tiny. I ate them with a fork so I could enjoy dipping them in Chick-fil-A sauce, which tastes like honey mustard. The waffles fries were HUGE. The carrot-raisin-pineapple salad thing was unusual, but it was nice to try something different. Thanks for your attention to keeping customers and employees safe. When it has been necessary to have order-takers come to the cars in drive-thru, they have always followed best practice and gone to the passenger side to talk. Then our orders are handed out from a distance by an associate, so we can always maintain good distance. I had 3 orders of nuggets along with 2 orders of fries and a sandwich. When I was asked about the sauce I said Chick-fil-A sauce for the the nuggets the worker once again asked any sauce other than Chick-fil-A and I said no just Chick-fil-A sauce. Then I get to the window and am asked to pull up and wait because my food wasn't ready. I get home and open my bag only to see no sauce at all in the bag. read more

If you were feeling like eating a few notch higher than McD's but don't want to break the bank at a bar/restaurants where burgers are $10 a piece, this may be a great place to grab food. My fiancee and I go here when we can't make up our minds on what to eat, we need something quick, and it's late. Fortunately, this location and another location that's nearby SMG (good movie theater by the way), give us the perfect solution to when our stomach are grumbling and we just want a quick good meal. This location is close to the mall, and you how conveniently placed... after a long day of mall-walk, come for some chicken sandwiches! The other location that's near the SMG in Wheaton, is a great place to just go and get a snack if you have a while to wait before your movie starts. Their sandwiches are hot, spiced and nicely flavored. It's pretty good. I wouldn't get it all the time because if you get a meal, you can easily go over $10 after all the add-ons. I would just get the chicken, and my favorite, the shake. Their milkshakes are so good, a must try! It's just very rich and creamy, and filling too. I could never finish one just by myself, so it's a good option to share. Occasionally, after you purchase, they would give you a random survey that you can fill out right away. I used my smartphone to fill the survey while sitting eating at the booth, and I got a FREE chicken sandwhich code. I have lived in Aurora for a little over a year now. Originally I am from Atlanta, GA. I love Chick-fil-A because the food is a level above in quality and taste compared to other fast food chains. The rewards app is so easy to use by the way! I was very happy to find that the workers here at my local Chick-fil-A in aurora are just as delightful and nice as the people down in Georgia! What a bunch of crooks! I placed an order in their drive thru and they left out a sandwich. I have a family of six and we love these overpriced sandwiches. Anyhow I tried to call them up only to find an automated system which got me nowhere. So I called back later that evening and I finally got through to a human manager that was gracious enough to send me two cards to cover my missing sandwich which seems very thoughtful and responsible. When the cards arrived I found they had expiration dates which had already passed by the time they arrived. So thinking this must have simply been a simple mistake sending out what appear to be expired gift cards I tried using them only to have them turned away at the drive thru. So beware of the location which gladly takes your money for missing items then replaces them with false promises. I simply wanted them to make good on a simple mistake only to get the shaft in the end. They took my money then refused to accept their own in recompense. My family will never shop at this location again. Too bad since the expensive sandwiches taste so good. Not what I expect from a "good Christian" establishment like Chick-fil-A. My experience was absolutely horrific. I placed a DoorDash order then after my order was placed I immediately called the restaurant an spoke to Steve "the manager." I told Steve that I just placed my order an I want my food fresh an well done, as I purchased 30 nuggets fries an a crispy chicken sandwich. At first he said he'd write it down an make sure it happened then he said I can't garentee well done then he ended the conversation saying I will make sure your food is well done and fresh. 2 min later I get a text from DoorDash saying my food was on its way. I receive my food an the entire order is ice cold my son had to heat his food up in the microwave. Obviously this means I will have to purchase something else to eat from (somewhere else). I then call The restaurant an apple to the same manager an I told him about how he didn't honor his commitment and my food was ice cold. He said I'm sorry but I couldn't garentee well done food. I said but you can garentee ice cold food? I would have been happy to have hot food at a minimum. He was extremely Condescending. He did nothing to rectify my issue. I will definitely be going to corporate about my complaint. Worse experience ever, an I spend hundreds a week at this location. But basically I was told if you get your order placed via Grubhub or DoorDash your business priority. Only the customers that are going to the restaurant to pick up their food is a valued customer. My dining choices are not a political vote! With that being said, I love Chick-fil-a. Where else can you go where, in response to asking for more Honey Roasted BBQ sauce, the staff will smile and say "It would be my pleasure." There's no way they are actually THAT pleased to be helping me out, but they certainly make the customers feel that way! At the Rt. 59 location, they always smile, keep the place clean, walk around asking if there is anything else they can get you...I love this place. Don't be misled by my three star rating. Three stars is the most I give a fast food or pizza joint. I just can't justify giving a fast food joint the same rating as a fine dining establishment. I used to live in the Indianapolis area many years ago and had ample opportunities to eat at CFA. To say I've missed it would be a huge understatement! CFA has a surprisingly versatile menu considering just about all it does is Chicken. I've had the chicken salad, excellent! Once you try their chicken nuggets, you'll never go next door to the "Golden Arches" for whatever it is they call nuggets. But the creme-de-la-creme at CFA is their chicken breast sandwich! Who knew a lightly breaded (or grilled), tender and juicy chicken breast on a bun (white or wheat) could be so good and CFA gets it right each and every time! And when was the last time you went to a fast food restaurant and came away raving about the service. So polite, so friendly, "absolutely" to any reasonable request! This is one well-managed restaurant chain and now I hear they are looking for a spot downtown on Michigan Avenue. Get ready Chicago for some seriously great eating! read more

I finally tried it ... but ... to be honest ... I found it lacking. The chicken, which I found to be tender and moist and firm to the tooth ... was incredibly bland!!! I'm not certain what I was expecting, but I really thought this would be a taste explosion. The flavor was more like a wet firecracker on the fifth of July. It wasn't bad by any means (not that I chow down on wet firecrackers)....but it wasn't terrific either. It was just ... blah. No real unique taste of its own. Chick-Fil-A had been open for several months before I first went, and in that time all I kept hearing was how *amazing* their food was. To be honest, I thought everyone was crazy. C'mon people, it's a chicken sandwich. I went there determined to find the food surpassingly average. The place was packed, but the service staff hammered right through the orders. So even though there were 15-20 people ahead of us, it didn't seem like we waited more than a few minutes. Right off the bat, that was a plus. I ordered the Deluxe Spicy Chicken. The lower bun was a bit soggy when I got to my seat, but nothing bad. The sandwich itself was very good. The chicken was moist and delicious. As far as chicken sandwiches go, it was one of the best I'd ever had. What impressed me the most, however, was the spectacular service and attention to detail. The people who work there go out of their way to make sure everything is cleaned in a timely manner and that you have everything you need. Overall, an excellent place to eat. I remember when the Chick-Fil-A opened by the Fox Valley Mall last fall. The lines were outrageous, so I avoided that area for a while. There were no long lines today, so I finally decided to give it a try. I got the Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious! So why only 3-stars? Because the sandwich was yummy, but at $4.35 it ought to be. It was a good spicy chicken sandwich, but was it better than the one at Wendy's or Portillo's? Not really. I definitely do not mind paying a bit more for quality (ex: Naf Naf Grill), but I really don't understand all the hype surrounding this place. Chick-Fil-A is glorified, overpriced fast food. Their chicken is phenomenal, it is so tasty, crispy, fresh, and really delicious. They have the best chicken I had here in this area of Aurora. Really worth a try. They also have fries, sandwiches, beverages, and others. All of their offers are affordable and worth every penny. Chick-Fil-A is exceptional. The staff here is really working so fast, all of them are friendly, nice, decent, and attentive. They are always willing to help and assist the customers. They all know how to do their work properly. I haven't seen so much buzz and commotion around a fast food place since In-N-Out in California and Vegas. Approaching this place on a Sat for lunch was like approaching Disney World with the organized lines and outside attendants. Anyway, after trying this new location, you can see why it's a popular franchise - clean, efficient , and good quality chicken products, though slightly salty for us (and I don't think they're gonna change their recipe for us; it was the same in Houston). The line out the door was maybe 15 deep, and stayed that way the 30 minutes we were there. We got our food though within about 15 minutes of arriving, and I got my Chick-Fil-A sandwich maybe 15 seconds after I ordered it. I think there were at least 7 well trained cashiers. The chocolate milkshake (comes with whipped cream and cherry) may have taken 45 seconds. The dining room was packed, but they also have patio seating, and a couple of tents (temporary I assume) set up for more seating. Nice to have this place nearby when lunch or snack time arrives. read more

Chik-Fil-A has been one of those things I never thought I'd experience in the midwest, right along with earthquakes. Oddly enough, both descended on me at roughly the same time, and I'm all the better for it. There's a reason expats crave certain foods, and just the whiff of one of their chicken sandwiches was damn near enough for me to abandon nearly two decades of vegetarianism. I now full well understand why there are reports of people smuggling chicken sandwiches aboard flights, and touching stories of engagements served over the breakfast Chick-n-Minis. But I'm afraid all I can say is... The fries are good. I kid, I kid, there are salads too, but I'd say the fries alone are worth a try. They're not too salty, not too greasy, and just the right amount of potato-to-crisp ratio. The portions are a tad on the small side, although that could be the glutton in me that's used to ordering three large fries from the adjacent Mickey D's. It's just...rather unsettling to encounter the staff. It's almost like a Barbie doll factory collided with the school of excessive politeness, and pretty, perky, pep-bots are rolled right off the assembly line and into a red shirt. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, necessarily: decent customer service is rarer than beef on the Chik-Fil-A menu. But...the responses seem programmed in, as though someone would electrocute the poor kid if he/she dared utter an original sentiment. The drive-thru video screen further enforces my theory that employees are no more than sophisticated AI by way of Stepford. Do you have to agree with a store's religious or political agenda to shop there? Of course not, but it's almost like Chik-Fil-A exists in a dimensional void between the actual 1950s and what people imagine them to be. But people will always make the voyage if it means chicken this good. read more

The first time I tried Chik-Fil-A, I didn't like it. as I compared their chicken sandwiches to Wendy's. The second time I tried Chik-Fil-A, I was overcharged, but loved the spicy chicken sandwich. The last 3 times I've been there, I CAN'T GET ENOUGH. I usually hate pickles on sandwiches (on the side, please!), but it adds great flavor. And the fries are always hot, try them with Chik-Fil-A SAUCE. So much better than ketchup, or anything else. It's now my 2nd favorite condiment next to honey mustard. But Chik-Fil-A's honey mustard isn't good. A meal here is about $7. And it's so much better than McDonald's next door. You pay the same for a chicken sandwich at Arby's. Try: spicy chicken sandwich (with jalapeno jack cheese!) and Chik-Fil-A sauce. Don't try: chicken nuggets (no flavor) and honey mustard (weird consistency). read more

I love Chick-Fil-A! This is one of the only fast food chains that whenever I eat there the staff appears to genuinely enjoy their jobs. I believe that this is a reflection of the company itself and how they value their employees. The staff is always polite, friendly, and offer genuine advice when asked about the menu. The dining room tables always have fresh, seasonal flowers that make my dining experience even more pleasant. My sister shared with me that in their downtown locations the flowers will have a card for the florist that did the work. I thought that this was an excellent way for Chick-Fil-A to contribute and promote other local businesses. As I'm sure all reviewers have said, the chicken is excellent. You will not be able to eat other fast food chicken after this experience. This is tender, juicy, ACTUAL CHICKEN. They also have AWESOME waffle fries and surprisingly creative salad dressing options. (Avocado ranch anyone?) Finally, did you know that Chick-Fil-A has cookies? That's right, fresh, warm, chocolate chunk cookies. Mmm mmm! The only bad thing about Chick-Fil-A is that they are closed on Sundays. I wish I could bring their delicious chicken nugs to Sunday football gatherings! read more

The food is rock solid but it's the people that really get me. Most of the weekend crew are either in high school or college (fairly young) but show a level of professionalism that many can learn from. ALWAYS a "thank you", "how may I help you" or "welcome" by the staff. I can remember a young man's quote when he told me he was waiting for his job to become work (this was week 2 when the place was a MADHOUSE yet the staff didn't miss a beat). I bet most people can remember when they were in high school in particular and the stories you can recall. Aurora, and their Wheaton counterparts, get a few things right.They seem genuine in their interest in me as a customer. This is one of the most friendly establishments of any type. Even more amazing is that my order has never been messed up (or know anyone who had an order done wrong). Service is also pretty fast. Job well done!!! Keep up the good work!!!! read more

Chick-Fil-A and I go way back to my college days. I was far from a fan back in college, but maybe the quality suffered due to its tiny location in a college town. My wife and I tried their breakfast Chicken Biscuits. Hot damn! It blew my negative memories of Chick-Fil-A away. I know our order consisted of only fried chicken patties and biscuits, but they were incredibly fresh and good! I'll have to be back for lunch and dinner fare. A co-worker of mine swears by Chick-Fil-A because his wife has Celiac's disease. Apparently, Chick-Fil-A is the only fast food establishment that cooks their fries in a vat of oil separate from other menu items. Therefore, patrons can still maintain gluten-free diets. Another highlight of our short drive-thru visit was the service. Our drive-thru attendant delivered some of the best food service we've received in months. Scripted or not, he was great. Fresh food, stellar service. There's no reason I wouldn't come back to sample other menu items. read more

There were so many people here at 8 PM, it was obvious there was extra staff for the opening a few days ago, which is still having a lingering effect. The drive thru had no less than 15 cars at any given time. I went inside and said to the friendly counter girl, "what do you recommend?" She said, a regular chick-fil-a and a lemonade. I did it. It was up in 15 seconds. I sat outside and ate it. It was truly the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. Fried, juicy, tasty, with a pickle. I will be back. Gosh, that was good. In terms of 5-star fast food, this is it! Having first experienced the deliciousness that is Chik-fil-a while visiting my brother in Florida, I was excited to learn that there was a close location. This particular Chick-fil-a is awesome. First up, there's a double drive-thru with pictures of nearly every item on the menu. Secondly, the sandwiches are hot and fresh, and the quality of the chicken is very good. Guess what....they have waffle fries, my favorite. How can you top waffle fries? With a milkshake - and not just a milkshake, but a hand-scooped shake topped with a ton of whipped cream. I was so into my food here, I almost didn't notice the cool ketchup packets. The ketchup packets are huge, and include the option of dipping or squeezing. Just don't try to do both like I did, I ended up squeezing on myself. I did snicker a bit as I pulled into the drive-thru in my used 2004 Pontiac. Tons of SUV's, Lexus's, and convertibles were jam-packed in-line. Chick-fil-a you rock. read more

The employees always try to do more than they need to. Although people may say the smiles and work seem forced, I would have to disagree. These people do not get tipped off their service, so there is no reason for them to fake everything. One thing I found cool was that they had dispensable mouthwash in the bathroom! "What the cluck!!!" That was my initial reaction when I first heard that this famous chicken franchise was finally going to open some franchises up here. They are the home of the "original" chicken sandwich, though I find it hard to believe that no one thought of putting a chicken breast fillet in between two pieces of bread before they did. Well if they claim it to be true, then who am I to argue since they do it so well. This place gets that chicken is supposed to taste like...well chicken. They don't give you some chicken byproduct that supposed to pass for chicken. They smack the chicken, flip the chicken, and rub it down with some down south lovin'. I always order the Spicy Chicken sandwich and 3 piece chicken strips with honey mustard dipping sauce. I pass on the waffle fries since there is clearly nothing special about it. I came here for chicken, and a chicken I will eats. They also offer a breakfast menu until 10:30am but I have not had the pleasure of tasting any items from it just yet. This place was packed tighter than Scarlet Johansson's sweater after it came out of the dryer. The busy line moves along fairly quickly, but I can't comment on the drive thru since I am yet to use it. One thing that I absolutely LOVE about this place is the service. They have employee's walking around offering to refill your beverage or take away your tray...nice touch peeps. I will clearly be back again, and again, and again. I wasn't overly excited about the opening of this new fast food restaurant on Route 59 - especially when I heard that all they serve is Chicken. I never order a chicken sandwich when I go to McDonalds or Wendys because it is never as good as one of their cheeseburgers. So I expected a "fast food" chicken sandwich and after driving by several times and unwilling to wait a crazy amount of time for a chicken sandwich I was able to get in the drive thru line on a whim. I ordered the regular chicken sandwich and decided to see what the fuss was about. One bite into this sandwich and I was hooked. It was the most delicious, moist, wonderful chicken sandwich that I had ever tasted. Since the first time that I discovered this sandwich, I went back and tried the spicy sandwich which is also delicious. I haven't tried it with cheese yet - I am not sure how I feel about American cheese on my chicken; but everyone tells me I have to try it. I have also heard that they have a breakfast sandwich that is pretty amazing too. One last thing...they have fresh-squeezed lemonade that is spectacular. When the newness of this place fades a little and there is manageable amount of people here it will be a great option for lunch while shopping and doing errands. read more
