This Chick-fil-A location is located on a corner, in the same plaza as Gogo Poke. This plaza is also aross the street from Sprouts and also across the street from one of APU's buildings. The last time I have dined at Chick-fil-A was probably 10 years ago, at the Long Beach Town Center. Anyways, late to the party, my husband and I finally came here last Friday (Oct 13) with our little girl dog because we wanted to redeem our free chicken sandwiches offer. The day before, we were at a Clippers game and because the opposing team missed 2 free throws in a row during the 4th quarter, Chick-fil-A was going to give a free chicken sandwich at participating locations (which I had called earlier that day to make sure that they were). At the register, we ended up getting: Chicken Sandwich, $3.89 prior to tax- We got 2 of these sandwiches, free by showing our ticket stubs to an employee at the register. The chicken sandwich was pretty good (just as good as the first time I had one), but I think I would request to omit the butter from the bun. The chicken was tender. Super food side salad $3.19 prior to tax- I liked that this salad had kale, some chopped nuts and dried cranberries. I also liked the salad dressing that was used but thought the size was pretty small. Especially for the price, I was really expecting something a little bigger (the portion size was just about 1 cup). Small ice cream cup, $1.89 prior to tax- Free after Yelp check in offer. This ice cream was pretty disappointing and did not taste right. You could totally taste the dried non fat milk powder that was used in this. The texture was off (too airy). I would never order this again. Waffle fries (med) $1.95 prior to tax- Although a good portion for the price, the fries were a bust too. They were limp and soggy. The fries should be cooked longer so that it can be crisp and crunchy. ---------------------------- (Total= $5.63 after tax, free chicken sandwich offer and Yelp check in offer) After we ordered, we were given a purple cup that is supposed to be placed on the table. Since we were sitting outside, we were expecting an employee to bring our food out (my husband told them employee that we're sitting outside). Well we saw an employee just walking around inside looking for us with a tray of what we ordered. Really, he should have just gone outside to see if were sitting there.... I do like that you have the option of requesting as many of the different sauces that Chick-fil-A offers for free. I also liked that they have these cute little ketchup packets available for you to get, along with mayo, hand wipes and mints. The ladies restroom was clean upon this visit and I also appreciate the free WiFi available. I think I would just stick with the chicken sandwich and nothing else if I ever come back in the future. By the way, if you come by here, try not to park along the path of the drive thru because we saw one car getting stuck when trying to get out after a line of cars blocked her path. Luckily an employee outside helping with the drive through was there and so he helped to direct the traffic accordingly so that she could back out. read more

Had a craving for Chick-fil-A and found out this place was nearby. There was plenty of parking and easy to find one. I did notice that the drive thru line can get long and it does end up blocking off a portion of the parking spots. Hopefully, people don't get trapped in too often. If you placed a mobile order ahead of time, the pick up location is located immediately to your left after entering the building. Restrooms are also located in that direction as well. There were plenty of tables and seating options available. Ordering was easy and the staff members were super friendly. If you Check In on Yelp, you can get a free Ice Cream cone when you purchase an entree. As always, the Chicken Sandwich is good and the Waffle Fries were crisp and hot! This location absolutely gets 5 stars SPECIFICALLY FOR THE MORNING CREW!!! Big shout out to them. Overall service is great here even during lunch or dinner but I'm a big breakfast person here and my AM crew is top tier!!! They are so kind and on it. They are efficient with the mobile order and drive thru pick up. Definitely my favorite fast food breakfast spot. Even with APU starting back up in school, this team is ON IT. Another occasion I went inside to ask if I could leave a gift card for two gentleman I see sitting there every day that were in the military. I run past this location every day on my Morning run and the employee that helped me get that set up was great! He ensured me I could purchase and leave for them. Went back and they confirmed they gave the gift card to those two guests and they purchased some coffees on me. Lastly, there was a woman outside that seemed to be a little down and out. Unfortunately, was sleeping in the driveway that many go through to get to the drive-thru. I quickly let chick fil a know I called the non-emergency number just to see if they could assist in moving her to a safer location, chick fil a team was grateful but they were also on it as well. Why does this particular Chick Fil A offer "curbside pickup" and "Restaurant pickup" when the drive-thru line blocks every bit of parking for those options? I ordered ahead of time on the app and selected curbside pickup. When I drove into the parking lot I was instantly stuck in a drive-thru line with absolutely nowhere to maneuver or park. Very wasteful and rude establishment over here. I made a mobile order for breakfast and arrived before it was over, but my app stopped working. By the time I got in the store and waited to be called to the counter only 5 mins had passed. Now all the sudden they threw away every single breakfast item they had. Sounds like a lie to me but if it's true that's very wasteful and unfortunate. Nobody even tried to help out they just gave that BS explanation that as soon as the clock strikes 10:30am everything is in the trash. Does that make sense to anyone? I am a definitely a fan of Chick-Fil-A. I've always been a fan. I love their service, their food, and everything they stand for. I was in the Azusa area over the weekend and stopped by for a quick lunch. The staff at this location was super friendly, and their service was really fast. I "checked in" on yelp and to my surprise, I redeemed a free ice cream! The Manager (Valerie) was really nice and helpful. It made my daughter's day. I would've taken a picture of my Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal, but I was really hungry and devoured it before I thought to take a picture. This location is on the corner of Citrus and Alosta. Although you can enter the plaza from Citrus, the drive-thru entrance requires you go around Five Guys (in the same plaza) and loop into the line. Yes, it's less processed food than other fast food joints, but it's not that great. Ordered 12 piece nuggets with fries. Fries were pretty soft and not hot. Felt like they may have been left out for a bit. It was lunch rush on a Monday so that wouldn't surprise me. I tried all 5 sauces they had. That's a good thing. The place is clean too BUT This is the third time they miss up our orders. the past two times we dinned in, I got the wrong sandwich. The manager was very nice. I had ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich and requested the combo which I was told comes with fries and a drink. I asked if you can request something else other than fries with my combo? She explained the choices, one of them being a salad. I chose the salad. To my surprise, I was charged an extra $1.60, which is not a large amount, however, I asked about the combo if I could substitute the fries for the salad. So I pulled over my car and place my order on the app. I thought I processed the whole thing, but I had to finish it and say I was already there. The person on the phone didn't make it clear that I had to put I'm already here. So my order didn't go through. They couldn't help me !! Bad customer service. Knowing myself I objected and decided to choose thee Spicy Deluxe Combo Which includes the waffle fries and a medium drink. With the 4 piece chicken tender entree. The service was FAST! The Patience was Respectful The restaurant is Recommended. My order was missing the chick fil-a sauce. But at least I got my bbq sauce. Every time I come in the morning for breakfast I'm greeted with a smile. The dining area is extremely clean, tables spotless, not sticky, seat cushions are comfortable and wiped down, men's bathroom smelling fresh and sanitized. The team members are always smiling and say thank you after my food purchase. Maribel has excellent customer service and always recommends a meal choice when I feel like changing it up and undecided. The music is soothing and you can feel the spirit of the holidays. I'm a total fan of this establishment.
