There's nothing new or exciting added to the ice cream. It's the same vanilla soft serve, medium dip cone, but the price is gone up to $6.75. McDonald's has a vanilla soft serve cone for $1.75 and IKEA has vanilla and I believe some sort of berry soft serve cone for $1.00. That being said it wasn't that enjoyable and it gave me a stomach ache. And the chocolate dip was a little waxy. read more

Our family all had cold deserts and were very pleased with the ice cream selection and quality. The service was excellent with a very courteous and friendly cashier. Local fave. Next to the drive up dairy and across from our local Vons and Starbucks sits a Glendora classic, Fosters Freeze. We mostly stick to ice cream but you can get a burger and other items and they do have a small inside area. Nothing fancy at all. It's what you'd expect but solid. The reason we come to Fosters is that it's a treat for the family or a place to meet up with friends. The chocolate dipped vanilla cone is always my go to and I don't get anything other than that. It reminds me of a small place in NC where I spent a few years of my youth that our soccer coach would take us to after practice - back when the team would hop in the back of the truck for a ride to grab ice cream (different times). That place was called Rooneys Ive cream and they had soft serve and chocolate dipped just like Fosters. Sometimes the best places are the ones where memories are made. For me, it's taking the kids out for ice cream after a school concert or game. It's enjoying a late night treat for no reason. That's what Fosters is for us. Yes, the ice cream is great. Bad service to begin with, most girls taking orders & serving have attitude rolling eyes. Bananas for the banana splits are overripe & black (bruised bad). We complained about the bad bananas because we just couldn't eat it of how bad it was all they did is add another half --mind you less bruised but overripe. I give the benefit of doubt several times and it just gets worse. It's only ice cream I just don't understand--NEED QUALITY BANANAS!! read more

My friend got a chocolate ice cream cone and I ordered a banana split -- both were delicious! She said her cone tasted just like Hershey's Kisses, which was fun. My banana split was fresh, sweet, and topped just right. Service was okay, nothing over the top but friendly enough. I liked all the colorful posters on the windows -- it gives the place a nostalgic, old-school vibe. We visited on an early Wednesday afternoon with a group of 5 people. The young girl working, took our order right away and it was ready within 5-6 minutes. This place reminds me of the ice cream/custard shops of my youth. Colorful pictures of dessert options taped to the glass. Young and older alike sitting outside on picnic tables on each side of the order & pickup windows enjoying their favorite while talking and laughing. First time at Fosters Freeze. Definitely happy about it. This location has a Lb old vibe to it. Very helpful and nice young ladies working here. They helped me and my kids make up our minds lol Huge menu! Something for everyone. We all got McFlurry/blizzard type. Sooo good. Fair prices and good portions. Plenty of parking as well. Fosters Freeze has always been a childhood staple for me. Delicious soft serve, shakes, and twisters (basically a blizzard from Dairy Queen). You can make all types of flavor combos and it always hits the spot. The people that work there are very nice and have quick service. It has gotten a wee bit expensive over the years but I keep coming back. I love getting a mint oreo twister mmmm my favorite. Maybe I have to go again tonight now that I think about it! Definitely takes me back to my youth. Love soft serve ice cream, especially dipped cones! I opted for the new chocolate dipped waffle cone, which is basically your adult version of the iconic drumstick. Can be a little messy unless you're really eating fast, but that's part of the nostalgia. Service is definitely fast and friendly and worthy of five stars, but price was like $8.25 and like $10 with tip. They have the old school soft serve chocolate dipped cones(various sizes) that have that "waxy" feel to the dip when you bite into it. This is something I recall from my childhood and I love Foster's Freeze for this! Call me nostalgic. But I know what I like! Seating area is also old school and has smaller benches for seating. So most likely made for grade school students. It's a popular spot and gets crowded pretty quickly and parking becomes very limited. Come here if you like your favorite childhood treats. Was up late in the West Covina area and was really craving a dipped cone. Well Fosters Freeze delivered. This drive up ice cream spot is the business! The vanilla ice cream was classic. Nice and velvet with a good vanilla flavor. And the chocolate dip had that chocolate flavor I was looking for! The gal at the window was very nice and the location was very nice. Parking left something to desire but overall had an awesome experience! Price wise it was super fair and the cone I ordered was exactly what I wanted. What is better than two of the best things in the world beer on tap and homemade crafted gourmet ice cream!!!! I scream for both! This ice cream artist has taken it up on flavors and has come up with some super delish unique items some that include a little beer in them to make them extra creamy and some non dairy made with coconut milk. You can taste your heart out as every flavor is temping and made of fresh natural ingredients. Definitely one of the best ice cream shops that i have come across and probably I think the best in SoCal. This place makes Handels look like baskin Robbin's and makes others like after and salt & straw look commercialized. Because this guy is crafting the ice cream that he knows the people want and takes ultra pride in his product. A must visit place - located at the end of old town Covina that is also worth a visit to dine at and walk around. I'm coming back for a beer float on their patio and to pick up one of their cool tshirts. They also sell by the pint. This is ice cream heaven at its best!

The coffee alone was very bold and almost had a burnt taste, but not in a bad way; bringing out the flavor of the coffee beans more. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Staff spoke brightly and with a cheerful voice. Staff helped me immediately. As mentioned, I ordered the Glazed Donut ($2.40). It was slightly bigger than typical donuts, but the taste is very unmemorable. It has clean ingredients, but it also tastes a little dry. Unfortunately, the price point is not very competitive compared to other donuts spots. Similar donuts typically range from $1.75 to $1.95. On ambiance, Class One Donuts (Glendora) is very clean and comfortable. There's a big bottle of hand sanitizer, and there's indoor & outdoor seating. This business looks very well-maintained. Overall, Class One Donuts (Glendora) is a good, pricey spot. There donuts are clean & fresh, and I left with a small smile. 4.4 out of 5
