The Thai Iced Tea turned out extremely delish and tasty I wished I ordered multiple. This tea had me at 'Hello.' Service: extremely friendly. 5/5~was greeted upon entrance. Every time I come to this location I am pleasantly surprised at the consistency. They give you plenty of meat unlike the San Dimas location which is an absolute embarrassment. The food is always good here but one worker in particular named JEN always has an attitude. I'm a regular at this waba grill and every time I come in contact with her she is no longer friendly and try's to avoid me when I walk in. Her body language shows when I ask her for extra sauce, lemon, or onion. I went in to pick up my order and told her I had a pick up order but wanted to redeem my avocado first. she kept cutting me off asking me what the name was for the order instead of helping me redeem my avocado first and then helping me with my pick up order. There has been other incidents with tossing the sauces on the table instead of kindly putting them in my bag. I got tired of going for dinner time because I know she works the later shift . Another work named OLGA and a few other have been very friendly and have no problem with helping me out . Stopped by this waba location the other day for something fast. I happened to be in the area and didn't know what else I was craving, so waba it was. This is only my second visit to a WaBa Grill and I have been impressed on both visits. I like how clean and spacious this location is, and there was plenty of seating. I also found the service to be really great on my visit. It appears waba has a limited, but great menu for all to enjoy. I ordered a half and half bowl with added avocado, so delicious. Additionally, I also ordered a side of soup. I found the soup to be good, but had a very unfamiliar flavor. The description of the soup said it was meant to be a mix of a tortilla soup and Asian soup, either way, it tasted like chicken in a more aromatic tomato soup. This pace was amazing. Went in with my two little ones and asked if. Both of them could eat for free. The lady said yes, and so we preceded to order. I got the "Waba Plate." The little one go rice and chicken, and my oldest wanted something a little more. The food tasted great, the service was pretty excellent. Absolutely horrendous! We've been coming to this location since it opened even though we live outside of the area. My wife ordered 2 chicken bowls, and the chicken was burned. When she spoke with an employee named Cesar, he denied it would be burned and stated it's just the grill. He was the one who cooked the chicken. When given the opportunity to make it right and get the bowls remade, Cesar asked my wife, who's disabled and ambulates with a walker, to drive back 15 miles and return the bowls within 24 hours so he can show it to his co-workers first before we get a refund. This is truly a poor reflection of the lack of training, character and customer service at this location. Cesar should be ashamed of himself. He was extremely unprofessional and defensive. I have been coming to this place for years and the food is amazing which is the reason I keep coming but the reason for the two stars is the customer service. Jessica who took our order was extremely rude. Some new food items have been incorporated which is awesome! But did not understand on the size of some items and instead of clarifying or helping she kept repeating the same thing increasing her tone and volume with attitude. Service was GREAT! I ordered online only to find out their power was off. Staff still made food quickly. I felt so sorry for them, it had to be over 110 degrees there, it was 100 degrees outside. Someone needs to pay their bill. They were the only ones without power. Owner should care more about their employees!!! They messed up on two of our soups and when I called them to fix this mistake, the cashier simply apologized for it and was about to let me go when I demanded to be given a refund or to be given the correct soups. So the cashier spoke to her manager , and at first the manager did not want to accommodate us. I insisted they did, so the manager said we had to go in tonight, on the very same day of the original order. I said that we couldn't go tonight, if they could accommodate us another day and the manager said no that it had to be that same night. Horrible customer service. So unprofessional. I've never received treatment like this before. To not own up to their mistake and make the refund available for only one night ?! Will the soups cease to exist after tonight ? Shame on you manager. This is the best WaBa Grill in town!! I literally drive from Covina to this location in Glendora. The food is fresh, less fatty, and the service is great. This is also the cleanest WaBa grill I've ever been to. I come here with my kids at least twice a month and it's consistently clean. Not to mention, they always have the best flashback music. Wish other WaBa locations would take note & be as good all around as this location!! We'll keep coming back as long as nothing changes or quality doesn't go down. read more

It is NOT ok to have employees working in that condition for over four hours!! I first just want to start off by saying that for the past 10 years I've always gone to other places for chicken bowls, but ever since I discovered waba grill I've been a loyal customer. It's not only for the food but mainly for the service. Ashley has served us almost every time, showing just how many hours she's put into this establishment. Many employees will try to push us out of the door but she makes sure that she gets the order perfect. She'll make sure she gave us the correct amount of sauces and utensils. When I don't know what to eat but I know I want something healthy, this is my go to spot. It's very simple and clean and tastes better than flame broiler. Plus they have fish options as well as avocado to improve the taste. You get to choose between white or brown rice, green onions or not, and if it's too saucy, you can get it with light sauce as well. The chicken is very tender, the beef is very tasty, the salmon is pretty good, the ribs is a little small so I don't think it's worth it, and the shrimp is pretty good too. If you get your bowl with veggies, just get broccoli only, because there is marinated carrots with hot pepper on the side for free that you can eat from. read more

A healthy meal is what you will find at Waba. I had the chicken plate with only salad. Their rice is perfect and their teriyaki chicken is very flavorful. They have changed their salad to kale and while it was sufficient, I would like to see more of a mixture. Service was awesome, I was greeted with a smile and a happy server. She offered avocado. Very disappointed in the service I received today. When I arrived I questioned if one of my bowls was correct because I didn't see the veggies, the kid Dylan proceeded to close the bag and with a snide response that "my order was made correctly". I asked for extra jalapeños and carrots and he said he would have to charge me. I advised in the past I hadn't been charged (note the bags are only 1/4 filled, if that) and again with a snide comment, "well than someone isn't doing their job right!". I stepped to the left in order to pay for additional jalapeños, if they charge why did he have to use a wanton as the purchased item. He was just being a punk kid. When he gave me my extra jalapeños, again were only fulled 1/4. I advised if I'm paying for extra, you need to give me extra. He went back to add more while talking crap under his breath. I than advised that he (Dylan) had a very shitty attitude and will have a long life in food sales if it didn't improve. Well.. i should have listen to my gut and checked my order cause it was wrong when I got home. both bowls had veggies, rice was wrong etc. Very disappointed. Been coming to this location consistently for the past 3 weeks. And the quality of food is very inconsistent. Unfortunately every time we come in and the chicken is hard like freaking jerky. Its so dry and tough you can barely eat it. Its lunch time on a weekday. Jesus it shouldn't be this dry. We keep trying to give this location a chance but only time our food came out the way it SHOULD be was yesterday Monday afternoon 05/20/19 . It was a new set of staff we haven't seen before. But they were the ONLY ones who made the food right. How can you serve hard ass dry chicken when that is what your supposed to be known for. If the staff on Monday are able to cook it just right what the heck are is happening the rest of the week. read more

Beef is fatty, chunky like the chicken. Not sure what the chopping knives are for if they don't use them. Called to talk to a manager after 2nd time with this issue and told "I'm new here"...
