In Boise for work and stopped by this Chick-fil-A for a salad. Firstly, the quality of the food was impeccable. The chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious while the veggies were crisp and fresh. Upon entering, was greeted by multiple staff members who were all smiling and welcoming. Matthew was going above and beyond for all his customers. He was refilling drinks, helping with recommendations, cleaning tables and floors and just all around making the visit so enjoyable. I have been to the other Chick-fil-As in town. This is my first visit here. Chick-fil-A is probably one of the best fast food chains around. From the nice staff, food and cleanliness of the venue, Chick-fil-A is a well oiled machine. We were instantly greeted as soon as we walked in the door. We made our way to the counter and again, was greeted by a wonderful smile. The gal at the register took our orders, got our drinks to us and had us sit at a table. For lunch I had the spicy chicken deluxe, waffle fries and a lemonade. My sandwich was same as always, good. The fries were cooked nicely. Fries with Chick-fil-A sauce is the best! They have the best lemonade for a fast food joint. I enjoy the little pieces of pulp in the lemonade. My husband grabbed a side of mac and cheese. The best part of the mac and cheese is the dark crispy cheese from being baked. As always, the mac and cheese was delicious too. I appreciate the staff here. They walk around and check up on you. They grab whatever you need or refill your drinks. It's refreshing to have such great customer service from genuinely nice people. I'm happy I stopped by this joint for lunch today. read more

But to the manager that was checking over the store: When you hear and see customer with bright pink blush, pink nails, and tits walks up to your employee and gives her name for the order... take the hint. Often times with fast food restaurants you end up with server's that don't view customers as their source of income and employment. They treat customers with disinterest and are often shot and rude. Not the case of Chick-fil-A on Broadway. Max the person who took my order was so helpful in navigating me thru their extensive menu, but was also very pleasant and friendly. He provided the customer experience you would get in a high end restaurant not a fast food restaurant. Maddi who who came by to check on our order and ask if I needed anything else was a sweetheart. They were kind, looked out for the extra things they could do and truly made my kids and I feel welcome. I'm not sure if it's a new manager or something but I at least 3 times a week I order chick-fil-A on their app and there's no problem but this time I did have a problem and they kept messing up and when it finally worked I go in the line and they say my order isn't there and I try the app again and it messed up. I eventually talk to the manager and he says there's nothing he can do. So I literally paid for nothing and the manager couldn't even give me the meal I obviously paid for with the transactions from my app I showed him. Then when I opened the box to the minis, there was chicken missing from one of the biscuits. Paid for the MEAL. Called a rep from the store and she stated there was nothing THEY could do and it was on DoorDash. DoorDash did their job, delivered the food in a timely manner.. This location (maybe all) is constantly busy and has overtaken the parking lot with 2 long lines of cars to get to the single drive-thru. They have order takers standing before the drive-thru menu, but I'm not comfortable deciding what to get with someone staring at me as I look at a unsanitary menu on a card. I came to try the new pimento chicken sandwich meal. Because of the intimidating presence of the employee, I forgot several modifiers to my meal. I'm happy to report that there weren't any mistakes in my order as I checked it while still at the window. The waffle fries were mostly huge pieces, with only a few small, but they were slightly underdone and not salted well. I get it some people like salt and others do not, but this was trying to please both types with just a very small amount of salt. The sandwich was large, but the pimento was overly sweet and I was not expecting that on a chicken sandwich. The bottom of the sandwich was wet and looking in the box, there was a fair amount of pimento sauce juice! Very watery orange liquid and it was greasy. Totally unappetizing. This chickfila used to be great but has gone downhill over the past year or two. Over that time period i have visited around a dozen times. With that said, they often do not put the correct amount of ice into the drink. Today, i asked for light ice and the cup was filled over halfway with ice. This only takes away the amount of drink you receive and thus gives it less value. Also they used to put 3 chickfila sauces with each meal but now they only give you 2 and you have to pay extra for more sauce. Lastly the pickles on my chicken sandwich tasted moldy. If you really want chickfila that bad, i recommend going to the meridian location which is far superior to this one, but i would not recommend going to chickfila at all because of the rising prices and the portion sizes appear to be shrinking as well. read more

Visited Boise recently on a business trip and for some reason we kept criss crossing town and this Chick-fil-A seemed to be right smack in the middle of things every time. It became so prominent in our paths that with each new appointment the question wasn't about traffic times or parking but rather: how far or what is the next appointment's proximity to the Chick-fil-A! lol! Really, they are just very centrally located near downtown Boise, Albertsons Stadium and both BSU and ISU university campuses. So we couldn't help but drive by or stop in a few times. Cold drinks, snacks, cookies, maybe a chicken sandwich or two kept beckoning us in. Convenient location, lots of free parking, almost no line at the register, clean restrooms, and friendly staff- made this an ideal place to stop off to refresh. Plus they have big tables and didn't mind us sprawling our stuff out for a bit. I want to preface by saying I LOVE Chick-fil-A but something about this visit wasn't right. Normally we go to the one by the mall. Our fries were soggy and they gave us unsweetened tea when we asked for sweet. Also our chicken was really chewy. Idk how to explain it but it wasn't the usual quality of chicken we get from chick-fil-a. It was making us gag. Also my boyfriend sarcastically was looking forward to the "my pleasure" but we didn't get one! Haha idk if it was a bad batch of food or something but it just wasn't the usual quality.
