As a door dasher, this location usually does well with having orders ready on time. But this past week I've had to wait for 30 minutes for a small order that seemed to have gotten lost or stolen. Or perhaps forgotten about. We act as an extension of your restaurant and yet are treated like we're invisible. When orders go wrong the consequences fall solely on us. There is no recourse for my lost time, there is never even as much as an apology. You just get used to it. Moral of the story, stay in school kids. read more

My husband, dog and I were excited to try the new drive through upon reopening. We went through today around 6 on our way home from RDU. Not being familiar with the new traffic pattern, we were in the outside lane which is now apparently only for mobile orders. There were no cars behind me and NO CARS in the other lane. There were 5 employees waiting to take orders. When I apologized and asked if someone could please take my order they all said no, I would have to drive all the way back around the store through the crowded parking lot and get in the order lane. They forgot to give me my credit card back. Normally when I go to any fast food place I always get my credit card back before getting my food. I thought I must have gotten it back because it took a while to get my order. When I went back for it they said they accidentally charged $30 for someone else's nugget meal on my card but refunded it not that I could confirm. When I asked for my receipt they also said that they were out of receipt paper smh. The nuggets I ordered from the kids meal were dry and too salty. Came with a cool kids sticker puzzle. Spicy ckn sandwich was okay. The grilled chicken sandwich was great and goes nicely with honey mustard. The ppl working looked super dead behind the eyes, low energy. I love Chick-fil-A and there is never a month that goes by that I do not visit a Chick-fil-A location. I wanted this to be a five-star but they fell short on multiple visits. The staff here isn't as friendly as other Chick-fil-A restaurants have been in the past. Perhaps Covid, short staff and the inside being closed have something to do with this. The staff seemed tired and overworked. This saddens me because I always expect bright friendly faces when I visit. It's been a three-star visit on my last few visits, which include the drive-thru and curbside. On this most recent visit, I was taken aback when I could not use drive up. This service is so convenient and right now this location isn't setting itself apart from other locations by asking me to jump in a drive-thru where the wait time is 15-20 minutes when I wanted to order this before leaving home, so I could just drive up and get it. The food was outstanding. Chicken minis meal and a strawberry parfait. I did not eat the parfait until the next day and that was still fresh and delicious tasting. I will have to say though, service and wait overshadowed that. I'll be visiting again and I expect the service to improve. I'm willing to see the growth that I know exists because I love me some Chick-fil-A period. read more

On Sept 30. I ordered the minis thru my app. I checked in at the drive thru speaker. Waited in line about 5-10 minutes. I got to the window and it was some confusion. Then they told me they were out of minis & it's a breakfast item. Then a 3rd person comes up and tells me that breakfast ended at 10:30 am. I told her that I know that, I ordered online. (I know the app will not let you order if it's after breakfast.) Then they proceed to ramble off what they have, nuggets, sandwich, etc. I asked if they have any breakfast items left. She said 3 sandwiches. I asked for one of those then. Which is $3.59 and the minis are $4.59. No one offered me the difference back. 5/21/21 & 5/22/21: We were staying in the area for the weekend & this restaurant was very close by. Each day we went through the drive thru. Both times the order takers weren't that friendly. The first visit was during the evening & today's visit was before 12 pm. Their drive thru was somewhat chaotic & disorganized. That caused it to be backed up. For instance, someone took our order before the person in front of us was done with theirs. When we pulled around to pick ours up, we were stuck waiting behind them & unable to get out of the line. It was insane. Both days, the same person handed us our food at the window area. He wasn't friendly AT ALL & he couldn't pronounce "Byrd" to save his life. It was humorous. We just let it go. The thing that was weird for us though is that NOT A SINGLE PERSON there said it was their pleasure to assist us. I mean, isn't that what makes CFA stand out? This location needs a bit of help in the customer service department, and our fries today were cold after all that waiting we were doing. Went through drive-in and all was ok. When we got our food we both had Waffle fries. They were GROSS! They have changed the recipe or something. We checked online and saw that many others had the same issue. So being a businessman, there are only so many reasons they would change a recipe like this. So first - maybe the fries weren't doing so well to begin with. Key reasons to change the recipe would be customer complaints or quality issues. A change would usually be to improve the taste/quality, to reduce ingredient/mfg cost, or fix some other manufacturing issue. I ordered a nugget meal with a bottle of water. When I got to the window, they gave me a small cup of water. I asked if I could get a bottle, and the girl was confused and said the cup is free. I told her I paid for a bottle and she still didn't seem to understand. As I was sitting there waiting for her to catch up, I couldn't help but notice the sanitation score of 93. The person handling the issue made me feel like an idiot for not being ok with that. Finally got a refund+ 5 dollars and a replacement meal (no drink). Was never told sorry or didn't feel like the staff was sorry for my inconvenience. This was baffling to me for a franchise that prides themselves on customer service. The Chick n minis were cold and the bread was stiff and falling a part - as if it had been prepackaged 30 minutes earlier for fast sales and convenience (to the employees and restaurants drive through quotas) . I know what they should feel and taste like.. the rolls should be very soft and warm... as well as the chicken be relatively hot or at least warm. I was in the drive-through at this location today picking up an order, and I witnessed one of the staff members who seem to be in a manager position speaking in an un-ignorable disrespectful manner to a younger guy working outside in the line. (Worth noting or I wouldn't have felt so inclined to say something) This is an extremely bad look on this location, and poorly represents the rest of the company being that it's allowed for employees to speak to each other in such a disrespectful manner. It genuinely does not matter what position you may think you're in at a company, you are still required to speak with your employees with basic human decency. We all know the food is good. That's not the problem with this location. The very clear and very blatant problem is it's management and coordination. Just like every other CFA lines are long. But the problem is that there is literally nothing they do to rectify it. Having people outside, taking orders earlier. Being drive through friendly. I've been to this location five times. Every time it has been a 15 minute wait or more. The staff is there inside but the management isn't doing anything compared to the CFA three miles down the road with two lanes and servers outside. Chick fil a at crossroads use to be really great. Now, I don't know what happened but they ALWAYS mess up my order. I just left and they charged me way more than necessary because they didn't use my salad as a side instead they just added it. No straws, forks, spoons, or ketchup that was specifically requested. Always check the bag because they just genuinely seem like they are not paying attention at all. This is happened the last 4 or 5 times I've been here and it sucks because I love their food so much but it's such a hassle now, especially to try and make sure everything is in the bag before pulling off and having to hold up the entire line because they mess up so much.
