Finally got to experience the not so stellar customer service I had heard about at the new Wendover Chick-fil-A. I placed an order on my app and went inside to pick it up. Upon arrival there were about 7/8 people waiting in the pick up area. I saw the owner operator working and she seemed to be getting the job done helping the drive thru. However the guy working the pick up area was less than pleasant. He got 3 Togo pick up orders, babbled out the names and then walked away. He mispronounced my name (no big deal) but when I said my name to make sure that it was in fact my order he said "it might be". I then walked up to the bags and had to look them over myself along with a couple others to grab our bags. Now this was my first experience here but I had friends tell me some stories about their experience and none of them have been good. Hopefully they get it together soon. My chicken filets continue to be thin from all Charlotte locations. For 5$ this just isn't worth it anymore. I used to work at Chick-fil-A when a sandwich was 3.05 after tax. They used to give u a whole lot more for less. There are better local options available that care about their customers and are way tastier. It's too bad the indoor service is gone It's too bad customer service is handled by kids that do not understand customer services. Last visit there I am done The last incident was a glitch in the Chick-fil-A app system it for whatever reason assigned my order to South Park I've only had one incident where I have had anything from South Park and it's never been through an online order I was at the location closest to Cotswald so I don't know what happened there but when I pulled up to confirm my order and the drive-through they couldn't find it but when we did find it it said it was at South Park and they asked me did you wanna go to South Park no I don't wanna go to South Park the young girl didn't know how to handle the situation and she sent me to the window and neither did the person at the window you've lost a customer I've been a customer for many years I'm done with this location there's too many problems and the people that are handling the problems don't understand.... Opening up a Chick-fil-A on my morning commute can be dangerous! I've gone a handful of times and there is always a line at the drive through so I typically order ahead on the app and go inside to wait for my order. I have not found it to be any faster to order ahead on the app because you actually end up having to wait longer than if you had just ordered in person in side the store. Today I got there after ordering my food on the app and they hadn't even received my order yet. They are a new store and probably still working out the kinks so it's best to cut them a little slack. I still love their chicken biscuits and chicken minis in the AM! Their dining room is always empty and clean when I've been inside in the AM. Staff is friendly but not overly friendly like other locations. I will continue to come to this location as it is convenient for me. read more

After reading other reviews, I guess I'm not the first to experience the awful customer service that this location has... This is the closest Chickfila location to me and have begun to frequent this one. Every time I come, I now know to expect the employees to roll their eyes when I enter the drivethru. I always have a mobile order and at other locations they confirm my last initial and/or ask if I want to change or add anything... Not this one! I will preface this by saying this location is brand new, so perhaps everything wrong with this location is due to that. I personally don't go to Chick-fil-A for the food, because honestly, their food has always just been "OK" to me. I go to Chick-fil-A because they've got the service and drive-thru nailed down, and they always knock this out of the park. Not this location. I've been twice and both times were painfully slow and not up to par for Chick-fil-A. I will not be back. I'm not sure where the discount was with our order but I ordered two combos with sausage, and when my husband and I got home they sold us two combs which had bacon instead of sausage. We had to specify our order and they still got it wrong. I also asked for four packs of ketchup and they only gave us two. The drive through was really slow. For this to be a new location and have several lanes where they could serve people they only had one lane open, this was not a great experience either. At least the staff was nice. But the order was not correct and for $20 for breakfast probably won't go back again. read more

This Chick-fil-a is recently new and horrible services. Out of all the locations this location is located in very busy traffic area. Please explained to me since day 1 their service is slower than ever. The customer service is not 5-star tier as the other location throughout the Mecklenburg County. Drive thru is extremely slow, and their mic is very shotty. I hope the management can turn this place around sooner than later. I've only gone to this location twice, as it is new. The first time I did not receive a straw. Minor inconvenience but no big deal. Today I ordered a sandwich that came with a sauce and cheese, and an extra sauce. No cheese or sauce was provided. This location is a Popeyes disguised as a Chik Fil A. I've been 3 times since this place opened and it is not typical of a Chik Fil A. I'm pretty sure nobody can read that works there. Twice I have ordered thru the app and once I actually went in. They don't put things in the bag that you specified on the app. Forget sauces, napkins, straws, etc. Both times. Chik Fil a is ALWAYS spot on when condiments and sauces are requested. Not at this location. I went in one day during breakfast and had the displeasure of placing an order with a very unfriendly, non customer service oriented person. She should have never been put in front of customers. It took me 15 minutes to get my order as I watched her stand around and wait for customers to come in (there weren't any coming in) instead of satisfying the orders that were already placed. Didn't get my coffee to me right after I ordered. Had to ask for her to finish my order. She forgot my side order. Just incompetent all around. I'm so glad the one at Cotswold has reopened. I'll never be back to this dump. I can't believe I'm writing this review on a place that I love so much. Somebody screwed the pooch on this location. read more
