Went with the girls for their new girl dinner! Made a reservation and I'm glad we did because it was packed on a Monday at 5:30pm. Girl dinner is $25 for Caesar salad, a martini, and fries. The Caesar salad did not taste like Caesar at all, mostly like lemon. But it was still yummy! The steak was sooo delicious but not worth an additional $14. The fries were perfect! And the espresso martini was awesome as well. The bar took foreverrrrr to get our 2 espresso martinis and one beer out to us, around 20 minutes. Our food came out before our drinks, big yikes! My partner and I visited Rosemont on a Sunday. The is parking attached to the building and they validate up to three hours. The atmosphere was very nice and they have an outdoor and indoor seating area. We found the service staff friendly, although it did take a while to receive our drinks and meals on a day when they weren't busy. For our starters, we ordered the focaccia bread and fries because we couldn't decide between the two. I will say ... the fries are phenomenal and I would highly recommend that you get them. We also don't drink alcohol and appreciated that there were mocktails available. My partner had a fake Negroni and she loved it! For our meals, I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon and appreciated the amount of dressing and cheese they put on the dish and my partner ordered the prime rib. We've twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Lunch was amazing. We had the white bean dip for an appetizer. It was light, bright and flavorful and served with grilled flatbread. I had the chopped salad with blackened chicken and again fresh, light and a nice variety of ingredients including strawberries, sliced radish, roasted beets, crumbled feta and perfectly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. Dinner, on the other hand, was overall underwhelming and my chicken Francese was inedible. We had the burrata with roasted mushrooms and cucumber strips dressed w/ a vinaigrette and chili crisp. Served with flatbread. It was good but lacked much flavor. Other dishes included the lamb, eggplant and a burger. The first two were average and the burger was quite good and swerved with shoestring fries. The chicken francese battered breast was so chewy, tough and rubbery I couldn't cut it, even when my SO gave me his steak knife. It was juicy and but like rubber. I suspect the proteins seized up due to too high of heat maybe? Or the breast suffered from "woody breast" a condition that causes fibers to stiffen/harden (I had to google it), which to be fair is no fault of the restaurant. The fettuccini w/ lemon cream sauce was bland and desperately needed salt and maybe some herbs. The service was great at both visits. I didn't bring my chicken issues to the attention of our server, and I regret that. We thought the meal was expensive. They validate for parking up to 3hrs in the deck so it wasn't a bad deal just waiting in the car. For entrees I had the Scallops and Risotto, the risotto was very creamy, I really enjoyed the flavor. The scallops were very seasoned, but over all I wish there was another component other than the pancetta in it. My boyfriend had the chicken sandwich , that was exceptionally seasoned!! The sweetness that beautifully transitions into the heat on the back end was beautiful. Fries were great.
