This was only my second time having Chic-fil-a and my experience at the Chicago ridge location was terrible. I ordered two meals and everything was cold as if it had been sitting out all day. I called up to the restaurant manager, Sam, hoping that she would accommodate my friend and I and she suggested that we were being dishonest about our food. The end result was her telling me that she was going to refund only the money for the two sandwiches ( not the fries ). The refund was never issued. I then called corporate and I am still waiting on a call from the franchise owner and it has been a week. I won't spend another penny at this location. read more

Wouldn't honor a free kids meal card they gave out to a local Oak Lawn school to give to its children as a prize. Manager Adrian needs some retraining. I won't spend a dime here again. I had to call corporate, especially after I've spent tons of money with other Chick-fil-a locations and even signed petitions against Rahm Emmanuel's "ban" of the restaurant from Chicago. Needless to say, I'm a huge lover of this restaurant as a whole. But today, I went to the Chicago Ridge location and ordered ONE deluxe chicken sandwich and a bottle of water from the drive-thru. Simple - right? Wrong. I parked my car to chow on my sandwich and saw a floppy old plain fried chicken breast, literally thrown between two sogged-out greezy buns. I got out into the cold and walked inside to correct the order, and one of the servers commanded, "You gone have to pay the difference!" The attitude really annoyed me, especially after THEY screwed up the order. I returned a few minutes later to express my disappointment. The server stared at me like she was ready to fight, and the so-called manager Vianca Nieves said, "You should have called for me at the time ... I know it's coulda shoulda, but next time a mix-up like that happens, just let me know and I'll make it right" Me: "You can make it right NOW by offering me a cookie for the trouble." Vianca (with a smarmy look on her face): "Ma'am, I understand you're upset, but I can't give away free food." Me: "You can't make up for poor customer service by accommodating a customer's request for a cookie?" Vianca (with the expression of 'duh' on her face): "I'll get fired from my job. I can't just give out free food like that. So sorry." Me: "Yea. You're not sorry at all." I don't know who trained this girl, but she could make no connection on servicing a customer to maintain the business. Because she was so young, I tried educating her, but she just took on a robotic stance. The "manager" of a restaurant claims to have no power to make a wrong - RIGHT - with a COOKIE, because she is afraid of losing her job! Told her I'd call corporate and tell everyone to avoid the Chicago Ridge store, and looked straight at me, shrugged her shoulders and said, "That's fine." I asked for her name and she proudly displayed her name tag and announced it clearly. She'd rather build up customer complaints on her record and be fired, rather than toss a cookie in a bag the way they tossed that nasty sandwich together and move on with her day. read more

I paid over $30 for my food and was not given any sauce for my meal after I asked the cashier if my sauce was in the bag. Then when I called they said they couldn't do anything but just keep it in mind so it wouldn't happen again. I don't recommend getting food from this location if it's carry out you're better off going to a McDonald's where they make sure you get your sauce. It's snowing outside and dangerous for me to be driving so having to go back on my lunch break is really upsetting read more

I would not even give this place one star. I ordered chick-fil-a through doordash on Friday, 3/1 at 6:20 pm. Four sandwiches and four fries. Order comes with four fries and two sandwiches. I get in the car and drive 15 minutes to the restaurant to get the rest of my food. The shift manager on duty spends (no lie) 10 minutes trying to find my receipt. She must not have found it after all that time because then she comes out with the manager and they ask what I'm missing. I had a special chicken sandwich, a plain chicken sandwich and 12 nuggets. They threw two regular chicken sandwiches and the nuggets in a bag, hand them to me saying here you go. I spent 30 minutes in travel time and 15 minutes in the restaurant to get what I paid for. Terrible service and WE ARE NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN. read more

Service in the morning can be hit or miss. Stopped by with my family for their breakfast promotion. They were not busy for dine in customers. Apparently, they were busy with drive thru which is the reason we were told our order took long to be delivered to our table (20 minutes). The staff is friendly and they apologized for our wait. Waited for 25 minutes in a packed drive thru only to have someone cut the huge line, jump the feeder divider and order (apparently) a large order in front of me! Bad enough... but then I had to wait forever only to have the young man at the window tell me he was sorry- "there's nothing we can do" and proceed to tell me she changed her order at the window and ask me to pull around as I had to wait cause she "took everything and they were making more"... 20 more minutes later, I go in and for 5 minutes, no one asks if they can help me (despite being seen by at least 6 employees) until the manager gets off break and asks me if she can help me.... VERY DISAPPOINTED! Went yesterdsy. Promo got us free chicken sandwich when you make a purchase. I bought a large fry and a medium lemonade. They brought me the chicken sandwich. I said dont forget the fries. The cashier had not poured my lemonade yet. The Shift Leader Eli said you need to buy something. She was rude. She did not see that I just paid over four dollars. She did not even look. She just walked away. She was loud at the counter and told the cashier rudely that I need to make a purchase to get the free sandwich. This person does not belong at Chick-fil-A. I have NEVER been treated this way at a restaurant. EVER. I feel awful gor the cashier. Sorry I didn't get her ns me. I LOVE this location and generally really like the Chick-fil-A food chain as a whole. At this particular location they always tend to go above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied and accommodate you in most instances. This location is a great place to take kids as they just so, happen to be playing Chick-fil-A bingo last time I visited with my niece. I ordered a spicy chicken salad and asked for crispy chicken instead of the regular shredded it comes with. My food came out within what felt like under 2 minutes which was really quickly. Unfortunately my order came in wrong, and without me mentioning anything they came up to me said they are sorry they gave me the wrong salad. I was very disappointed when they took a perfectly good salad and toss it out instead of letting me have the salad. The new salad they gave me was amazing( like always) I asked Adrian the director what's the background on why they toss food out instead of giving it to the customer. He responded with the most professional answer, gave me so much respect and apologized once again. I couldn't be mad or angry. I wish I could give this place 0 stars! Anyway, my mom and I have been to this Chick-fil-A location a few times. Apparently, the ones who are praising the employees for good customer service must not know when someone is "acting" nice or forced to be nice. I can see through the facade. Anyway, the food is meh, and the customer service SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS!!! My mom had a problem with her chicken noodle soup. When we got home, she had nothing but broth and barely any chicken (like one small piece). So, she called the store to explain the situation about the soup and the whole time the supervisor on duty at the time (can't think of her name) was being very defensive, down-right nasty, and pretty much called my mom a liar. No apology...no NOTHING!!! All of this over a $2.89 cup of soup! The only rectification my mother was looking for is to get her soup replaced. She didn't eat any of it. My mom was willing to take a pic and send it to the supervisor, or save it and bring it back within a few days when we are back in the general area (we live very far from this location; otherwise, we would have taken it back immediately). However, she (supervisor) wasn't hearing any of that. So, right after the phone, my mom called Chick-fil-A's corporate office and explained what happened. The corporate representative was very pleasant and she even offered an apology. The corporate representative took down my mother's information, and explained that she would pass the complaint to the owner, Peter Glanville, and that she would hear from him within a few days. However, days go by without any contact. Therefore, my mom calls the corporate office, again, to inform them that she had yet to hear from the owner. The corporate rep, again, took my mom's information and informed her that she would hear from the owner within a few days (again, the same story). Now...let's fast forward to today. My mom still has not heard a peep from the owner. A little time had surpassed. However, we were giving the owner time to make it right. But, he didn't. Therefore, I couldn't resist providing info about my mom's BAD experience with this Chik-fil-A location. We had bad customer service with the same supervisor before (nasty attitude when there's a complaint about the food THEY messed up). However, we at times like to give establishments a second chance. This was the second strike and that's it! We will NEVER, EVER patronize this establishment again!!! Some (not all) of the workers are prejudice/racists. Yeah, I said it! Their actions towards us wreaked prejudice/racism. And, apparently, the owner takes his employees side or just don't care about his customers. He must remember that his employees have something to lose...THEIR JOBS. Customers don't have anything to lose because we can take our money elsewhere-as my family and I. I don't know about anybody else's experience, but this one (and the one before) is mine. This Chick-fil-A location needs to take customer service tips from the Orland Park, IL and Merriville, IN locations. They have MUCH better attitudes/customer service AND their food tastes better. I've had breakfast here a few times and I've had great experiences. The place is clean, the food is fresh, and the employees are very nice and helpful. They give you free hash browns and a free small coffee with breakfast purchase I'm sure it's a limited time thing but I appreciated it. I also left my phone in the bathroom here once and came back an hour later and the employees were holding on to it for me. 5/5 read more
